*Kris’s P.O.V*

When class had started I was really bored I started to doddle. Every now and then I would think of Eliza and wonder what she is doing in class. I didn’t like how two days of the week we didn’t have class together. I wish we did all the time. ‘Maybe I…?’ I shook my head to not even think about it. About 20 minutes later the teacher said we were going to do group work I looked at Carolyn and Christi. They knew right away it was us together. I helped them move our desks together so we can work better. When Carolyn came back with our papers to do I kept trying to finish up a picture I did.

“What is that?” said Carolyn taking my spiral away from me.

“Hey, give it back!” I said trying to reach for it.

Carolyn moved to the side and started to laugh. “This is so cute!”     

Christi got a hold of the spiral and saw it. “Oh my gosh! That is so cute!”

“Arrrgh~” I got up and took my spiral back. I felt my cheeks blush a bit. I don’t really like others looking at my drawing they usually laugh.

“Hey, no need to be down. It is cute and good.” Said Carolyn.

“Yeah, show that to Eliza and she will like it.” Said Christi.

“She won’t like it.” I said looking at our paper to work on.

“Yeah she will.” Said Christi.  I looked up at them and they were both smiling. I looked at my drawing of a small dragon and its small breath of fire. I started to smile and I knew they were right. I looked up and them and they knew it too.

“Alright I guess I’ll show her.” I said. “I just can’t draw the wings right.”

“Here let me.” Said Christi taking out a paper from her own and started to doddle on different kinds of wings. I looked at them and when I found the one I like she drew it for me. “What do you think?”

“Ok, how come it looks better the first time then the second?” I asked laughing at her drawing.

“It’s the same!” she said looking at the drawing it.

“No, it’s different! Right Carolyn?” I said looking at her.

We all started laughing and arguing about the wings on the dragon. I couldn’t help but to think of what Eliza would really think of the drawing now. I know she draws and doesn’t like to let me see them but she shows Carolyn and Christi. I started to draw a new dragon when Carolyn started laughing on how I did the head. She took the paper from me and gave it to Christi. We each took turns drawing things and laughing.

“Oh?” she said looking towards the window. “Isn’t that Eliza?”

I looked towards the window and she was looking at her phone. I got up and made my way to the door. I opened it lightly and I waited for her to look up. When she did she looked completely blank. I couldn’t help on how cute she looked. We talked for a moment and then I moved my head so it looks like I was going to the restroom. I knew she hadn’t eaten anything so I wanted to get her a snack. When I asked her what she wanted. Her face lit up after she said cookies. I couldn’t help but like her reaction. It is too adorable. I could feel my heart beat race again and it wouldn’t stop. I got a few cookies for myself and put handed her the bag. After she said thanks and ate a cookie I couldn’t help how her aura is; very bright and pure.

I nodded his head and smiled. “I should get back. I heard we will be out early again.” I turned around and left her standing there. I wish I could have skipped class with her but I couldn’t. The teacher doesn’t really take attendance. He does it by handing out papers and checks to see who came and who didn’t. I entered the class and sat down. I put a cookie in my mouth and looked at my drawing.

“Ok,” I said looking at Carolyn and Christi. “Who put bunny ears on the head?”

Carolyn and Christi laughed and pointed at each other. I shook my head and ate my last cookie.

“Let’s get to work so we can leave.” I said looking at the paper work.

“Why the hurry? It wouldn’t be because of Eliza?” said Carolyn.

My head went straight up looking at her and I couldn’t find words to reply. I felt my mind go blank. My heart started to act up again. I looked down pretending to read the problem on the paper. “Of course not.”

Carolyn gave a small laugh. “You really gotta stop denying that.”

I looked up at her slowly. “Deny what?”

“That you do have feelings for her!” said Christ with a smile on her face.

“I don’t like her.” I said to defend myself.

“Then why did you go outside of the class when she was there by the window?” asked Carolyn.

I thought for a moment. ‘Why did I go to her when I saw her standing outside?’ I bit my bottom lip and my heart started to race. I couldn’t stop thinking about the question. I looked at the paper again and tried to read the problem. But no matter how many times I read it I knew Carolyn and Christi were waiting for a reply. I tried my best not to look up but no use. They had a smile planted on their faces waiting. I sighed and sat back in my seat.  “I’m not sure what I feel for her.”

“What do you mean?” said Carolyn. “It’s kind of obvious you do have something for her.”

“Yeah,” said Christi. “Also to me it seems as if Eliza likes you too.”

I looked at her and widened my eyes. “What?”

“We are her friends. So even if she doesn’t tell us we can see it for ourselves.” Said Carolyn.

I felt my heart do a dance after they said that. Now I couldn’t even focus on the work. My mind started to think about Eliza. I couldn’t really tell if she likes me or not but lately she has been blushing a lot around me and when she has her cute moments. I looked at Carolyn and Christi they were both exchanging looks with each other. I looked at them more serious and I kn
