Kris hasn’t met you for two months already ever since you caught him cheating on you. You have been staying at your parents’ house with your daughter. Your daughter kept asking where her dad goes and the only thing that you can say is he went for travelling.

You caressed your daughter’s hair then looked at your mom who is sewing. Your mom looked up at you

“Why don’t you go back to your home? Your daughter misses him.” Your mom said.

You shook your head.

“Why should I?” You asked.

“Aish this woman.” Your mom said then shook her head at your stubbornness.

Then suddenly your mom receives a call. It is from Kris.

“Hello?” Your mom greeted. “Ah, yes…. We’re doing fine. Oh, you’re coming here? That’s great! Yes, yes. The door is always open for you. Okay… See you later.” Your mom said then she hung up the call.

“Who is it, Halmeoni?” Your daughter asked her.

“You appa.” She smiles.

“What?” You immediately stood up from your seat.

You almost spill your tea. Your daughter hops around the living room in excitement.

“Yay appa is coming! Appa is coming!”

You looked at your mom who is smiling at you.

“You better forgive him.” She said then continues with her sewing.

You were now glaring at Kris who is dancing your daughter on his lap. Your daughter keep kissing his cheek, making you angry then took her away from him. You felt disgust to see your daughter to kiss his cheek like that.

“Omma, I wanna sit with appa.” She pouted.

“Your appa is tired after the travelling.” You lied.

“Travelling?” Kris asked when your daughter went out to play wit her friends.

“Yes, I lied to her. Why?” You crossed your arms.

“Who could you?” Kris frowned.

“How could I? Don’t you know that you’re lying to her too?” You said.

“W-why can’t you forgive me?” Kris looked at you with his sad look.

“Why should I?” You looked at him angrily.

“Please let us start a new chapter. Okay? You know that Tao is worried about you?” Kris begged.

“Tao? You see. He is more worried about me than you do.” You said.

“You just don’t know how I feel when you say like that to me.” Kris sadly said.

Tears started to form at his eyes.

“What ever.” You said then walk away.

Kris wipe off his tears then looked at you who are now playing with your daughter and her friends.

“I promise I’ll make you fall for me again.” Kris clenched his fist.

“Baby!” Kris lifted up your daughter and spins her around.

“Appa, this is fun! Do it again!” Your daughter happily said.

“Again? Alright!” Kris started to spin her gain but you held his arm and took her form Kris.

“Omma…” Your daughter called you.

“Could you go and play with Halmeoni for a moment? I need to talk to your appa.” You said.

Kris was touched that you still called him as your daughter’s dad. Your daughter nodded and ran towards your mom.

“It’s been a week you’re here. When you’re going to leave?” You asked.

“What?” Kris asked in disbelief.

“Don’t make me repeat, Kris-sshi.”

“Why are you calling me like that?” Kris frowned.

“If you don’t leave, I’ll file a divorce with you.” You threatened him.

Kris widened his eyes.

“No, please…” Kris shook his head and pulled you into his arm.

He hugged you as tight as he can.

“Please I’ve tried my best not to cheat on you. I had left her and now I’m trying to be a loyal husband to you.” Kris cried.

You felt touched with his word.

“If I forgive you, would you like to change?” You asked him as he pulls form the hug.

Kris nodded. “Yes. I swear.” Kris raised his hand.

You nodded.

“Eh? Why are you crying appa?” You daughter suddenly asked from nowhere.

“Ah, your omma bullied me.” Kris pouted and wipe off his tears.

“Who say?” You looked at him in disbelief.

“Omma, don’t bully appa. He is too cute to be bullied by you.” She said then pats on Kris head that is now crouching beside her.

“Yes, he is.” You smiled.

Kris looked at you then smiled. “Thanks, that’s why I love you.” Kris said.

You stared at Kris who is now kissing your daughter’s cheek.

‘I love you too…’ You thought.
