# Weekly IDOL is a South Korean variety show, airing 6PM every Wednesday nights on MBC Every1. The show is hosted by comedian Jung Hyungdon and rapper Defconn and consists of several segments; one of the segments features idol groups as an invited guest

‘Last week; Fierce and charismatic 5 Pieces intimidated the hosts with their humour and personalities, making their own show filled with what viewers love to see. Maria showed why she is the diva leader of 5 Pieces, and Carolina found herself fit as the group’s weirdo while she then was praised endlessly for her drawing skills. This week you can look forward to learn more about 5 Pieces’ unique personalities and styles and also get to know more secrets that will be revealed (all of the age to drink, drinking habits will come out!) and we can not forget the fun games and special guests that you definitely do not want to miss!’

 

Carolina was sitting on the floor with her back bent forward, all her attention put on the paper in front of her and pen held in her hand. The last thing last week was that Carolina got the mission to draw the two hosts, as the ladies proudly boasted how good she is at drawing. Meanwhile she was doing that, all of the others were still sitting with the “rewriting profiles” on her right side to continue with the last two members, continuing while waiting for Carolina to finish her drawing.

“Julia… the sweet member,” Hyungdon said when looking at the profile. “Do you all agree on her hobbies?”

“Reading is wrong,” Emelia chuckle, “and going to the gym. When did you visit the gym last time? Ha-ha”

“You should add ‘drinking coffee’,” Maria nodded.

“Are you going against me because Carolina is over there now?” Julia asked and pointed over at Carolina who gave no reaction at all, busy drawing.

“But when did you really visit the gym last time?” Emelia laughed.

“I’m a very busy artist; I still go there when I have the time.”

“It is difficult to do things you like when you are always busy,” Hyungdon nodded in agreement and Julia thanked him for understanding, still upset at her members.

“Do you like her?” Maria asked Hyungdon in a low voice, her head tilted to the side to look at the hosts. Her question made the hosts burst out laughing in surprise. “Hyungdon Oppa never talks like that otherwise.”

“No…” Hyungdon was laughing, embarrassed, blinking at the camera before he weirdly looked at Julia. “I like your songs.”

“Thank you,” Julia said in a low voice and laughed awkwardly when he kept looking at her.

“Think about your wife!” Carolina reminded him from her side and Hyungdon gets a surprise again, saying he forgot that for a moment and the ladies laugh.

“How is the drawing going?”

“I am not done yet…” Carolina answered without lifting her head. She was focused.

They continued on Julia’s profile then, mentioning habits, asking if Julia has some kind of habit. “What about drinking habits? You are all of the age to drink alcohol…” Defconn was curious to know.

“I don’t have a drinking habit,” Julia shook her head, putting a special sound to I.

“…” the hosts didn’t know what to say, sitting quietly for a second. “One of you must have a drinking habit. The most annoying drinking habit then, one must have one?”

“Well, Emelia calls when she has been drinking,” Maria mentioned, noticing quickly she had to explain; “Randomly calls people. She called me once, but she didn’t want anything and just said she was drinking…”

The hosts’ eyes were glimmering with scandals here. “Do you call your members only?”

“No,” Emelia said, looking troubled, “I don’t call that often.”

“Every time she drinks, she seems to call someone,” Maria corrected her.

“But we don’t drink that often because of our schedule,” Emelia added, “we haven’t really gotten the chance to go out to drink… When celebrating we drink a bit.”

“But who do you call when you have been drinking a little?”

“Um… One time, I called FT Island’s Jonghun,” Emelia revealed, “and all I did was to tell him that we haven’t seen each other in a while, and then I hung up.”

“Didn’t you do that to Yuri…?” Hannah asked in a low voice.

“Right,” Emelia remembered and turned to the hosts asking which Yuri, “I have called Yuri to say the same thing once too. SNSD’s Yuri.”

“You called both of them to say that and then hang up?” the hosts were curious to this drinking habit.

“Yes… No, well…” Emelia spaced out when thinking about it; the other members were smiling and giggling at her reaction. She was being honest about it, and since it was not prepared to go this deep in the subject she wasn’t really sure what to answer. “It wasn’t the same night, but Yuri said on the phone that we had seen each other a few days earlier, which I remembered but I still said that it was a long time… It was a weird call.”

“Do you often call male idols like that? What was Jonghun’s reaction by you calling?” Hyungdon wondered. A lot of viewers might wonder the same thing; a female idol calling a male idol when she has been drinking.

“I don’t call random people, just friends of mine … Usually… But Jonghun seemed okay with it. He was apparently sleeping at the time when I called, so he texted me in the morning and asked if I had been drinking,” Emelia answered and the hosts laughed. The cool leader of FT Island even handles the ladies well.

“But he stopped answering her calls since then,” Julia joked, making they laugh even more.

“The other members don’t have any drinking habits?”

“I don’t think it is a drinking habit, I just dance when we go out,” Maria answered, “that is just … party habit.”

“Party habit?” the hosts were smiling from ear to ear, “if we made this set into a club, how would it look like in 5 Pieces’ world?”

Maria got up on her feet without hesitation, asking the staff if they have some party music, and Hannah was just staring at her while Emelia stays seated to say she never dances. “Baby, you too,” Maria grabbed Hannah’s hand and pulled her up, dragging Julia along. “Carolina can sit there, her dance moves doesn’t follow ours. So the three of us go out – not to drink – but to dance. Music?”

It felt like a lesson; this-is-how-we-roll. And Maria was the leader of the lesson. Random music begun to play and Maria began to move crazily (not following the beat at all, but somehow looking stunning), but Hannah and Julia linked arms and took a step away, letting Maria take a solo shot. The hosts began to laugh and clap their hands right away because Maria went crazy on her own, and she noticed how the others stepped away for her but she didn’t hold back her dance moves for entertainment and the hosts just kept laughing. When the music stopped, Maria gave a dramatic bow and sat down as if nothing happened; fixing her hair, not ashamed at all and the hosts were gaping with amaze.

“Wow…” Hyungdon was speechless, looking at Maria with big eyes. “Were you always this funny?”

“Always and forever, you know,” Maria answered proudly in her diva-way, smiling at the hosts.

Carolina put up her hand in the air. “I’m done!” She got up on her feet, hiding the drawing against her stomach when smiling walked back to her seat, then she had to get up again as the hosts were standing up to see it. They were going to reveal the drawing and Carolina didn’t want to show the hosts first, so after counting down with the ladies she turned the paper around for the cameras and everyone to see. The hosts and even the staff got amazed when seeing two big faces of the hosts with shoulders down and the hosts both commented on that their characters are clearly seen and it is really alike. 5 Pieces looked proud. They compared the drawing by putting the hosts faces next to it and they took pictures and Defconn even personally hurried away and came back with his own cell phone to take a picture of it, having Hyungdon ask him why he do that and Defconn brightly said he is a big fan.

“She has even written her autograph here,” Hyungdon mentioned and pointed at the super nice cursive writing and she hadn’t written it in Korean. “It’s your Swedish name?”

“It’s my original autograph, not as 5 Pieces’ Carolina but just Carolina,” she answered.

“That is her autograph that she does on all her drawings and paintings,” Maria said.

“But I heard Maria is good at drawing too…”

“It’s a hobby of mine,” Maria nodded, “But I’m not on a professional level like this one.” This one was Carolina.

“Wow… 5 Pieces really amazes me…” Hyungdon said when sitting down again, continuing with the show but he surely looked amazed. “The youngest, Hannah…” They changed profile and went quiet for a few seconds when looking through it. “Hannah is the youngest but why has she done all things? Song-writing, solo career, author, acting… Your book is really amazing by the way. But why did you all let the youngest do everything?”

“Hannah gets bored if she doesn’t have anything to do,” Maria answered with a sigh, “so when she hears that our promotions are coming to an end she is fast to prepare something else to do.”

“Ah, really?” Hyungdon asked and looked at Hannah who was slowly nodding in agreement.

“I have heard you learned boxing too,” Defconn mentioned and Hyungdon looked fascinated as he looked at the other members to ask; “Is Hannah good at boxing? Have you seen it?”

They all shook their heads to that they haven’t seen it. “I have seen her practice at the gym before,” Julia answered though, “and she was no joke.” Hannah looked shy.

“No joke? None of you have seen her boxing, but she is no joke? How did you even start boxing; was it when you got bored?”

“I did boxing for a drama role I had a few years ago, and-”

“Have you ever punched someone?” Hyungdon interrupted quickly. Hannah looked taken back, open as she stopped talking but then they laughed when he said in surprise that she has punched someone before (he guessed based on her reaction). Hannah glanced at her members as if seeking for help and it made the hosts laugh even more. “Who did you punch? Was it a fight?”

“Eh, she is our youngest, Oppa,” Maria waves her hand at him to calm down.

“Ah, sorry… I got too worked up, didn’t I? But you have punched someone?”

“During practice, I have accidentally punched someone,” Hannah bit her lip, “but I have done a few fighting scenes too, so…”

“Does it hurt?”

“Could you demonstrate what you have learned in boxing?” Hyungdon wondered, glancing around to try figure out how they can do that. Hannah stood up, quietly looking at the host in wonder what to do.

“If you hold up a hand, I can punch it, right?” she suggested and Hyungdon asked the other ladies if he is safe to use his bare hand. They told him to do that and he walked up in front of Hannah; Defconn mentioned Hannah’s position, pointing out how she placed her feet and Hannah smiled, her fists already prepared. Hyungdon said he is worried when seeing how dangerous she looked and Hannah laughed, making him say that her smile isn’t dangerous but her eyes are.

“You want to face Emelia instead?” Carolina suggested out of the blue.

Hyungdon looked strangely at her. “Her eyes are scarier.”

Carolina smiled, not understanding what she said wrong and the focus is back on Hannah and Hyungdon. He asked if she will just hit him and Hannah answered that she will go left, left, right with her fists and when he didn’t understand what she meant, Hannah lightly demonstrated by throwing her left fist two times towards his palm and then her right one time, just lightly, not even touching him. When she was going to do it correctly, she moved swiftly and impressive and Hyungdon received the first left punch where he gave out a shout in surprise and on the second punch he stepped back so Hannah stopped, laughing because she kept seeing his face-expression overdoing his reaction.

“She looks cool!” Defconn complimented gladly, “Her face totally changed.”

“It hurts,” Hyungdon whined and sat down, bowing to Hannah when asking her to sit down too while rubbing his palm. “The youngest has a strong punch… Do you make the older ones do whatever you want?”

“She never hits us,” Maria smiled proudly.

“Carolina hits us,” Hannah remembered, pointing to the one in the middle, “when she gets excited she just hits really hard on the arm. I got a bruise from her once because of that.”

“But then you can hit her back!” Hyungdon told Hannah in a low voice, not understanding why she isn’t using her strength.

“I do.” / “She do hit back.”

“Does it hurt?” Hyungdon suddenly asked Carolina in a low voice, making them laugh.

“I don’t hit her hard,” Hannah whined, “If she hits me hard, I have to hit back. But I can’t hit hard back.”

“Carolina, stand up and do what we just did; let Hannah punch you,” Hyungdon suggested and the girls started to laugh again, not doing it. “So Hannah is only tough on screen then? Is she the cute one otherwise?”

“She is our cute baby,” Maria nodded in agreement.

“Hannah…” Hyungdon got that face-expression that shows he has an idea, “have you heard about gwiyomi before?”

Carolina clapped her hands loudly as she knew what it is while Hannah was quietly looking clueless. (NOTE: look up online if you don’t know ‘gwiyomi’…)

“Ah, ah, I know, I know,” Hannah remembered and pushed Julia’s hand away with a laugh as the others began demonstrating, the hosts laughed too at how cute the members were explaining.

“Since Hannah is the cute member, she should do the cute gwiyomi.”

She laughed, embarrassedly patting her cheeks when preparing. “Tiffany Unnie taught me this,” she giggled behind her hands. Her members sung along while Hannah began to shyly and awkwardly but very cutely do the gwiyomi with hand movements and face-expressions; one + one is gwiyomi, two + two is gwiyomi and so on, doing it cutely and shyly. What she meant with that Tiffany taught her is that when they came to ‘four + four is gwiyomi’, Hannah put her fingers under her chin and to *twinkle* instead of *gwiyomi*. She made Carolina squirm in her seat of delight and Hannah made the hosts cheer in delight as well when she finished off six + six is gwiyomi by kissing six fingers and showing her thumb to the camera. The moment she was done, hannah laughed and hided behind Julia’s arm, the hosts actually applauded her.

“Does Hannah normally act cute?” Hyungdon asked the other members, his face all red and the girls’ laughed when seeing the two hosts charmed by the youngest. “It looked like no big deal at all.” Emelia was smiling, because everyone noticed how embarrassed Hannah was to do it but the hosts thought it was natural. Hannah and Julia kept giggling by themselves.

“She doesn’t usually act cute, it is just that she is cute,” Maria answered.

“But Hannah seems to be full of aegyo…”

“Hannah can ask a question innocently and everyone says she is cute.”

“I am sitting right here,” Hannah reminded them.

“Oh, she is here,” Hyungdon joked with her comment, laughing at his own joke. “Do you act cute to get guys attention?”

Hannah shook her head.

“She acts innocent,” Emelia corrected with a nod, “But Hannah doesn’t care much about guys-”

“Because she has one already?” Hyungdon tried and he got this weird face-expression when thinking of gossip, looking at the members get a surprise by how he brings it up. “It is the hottest topic of the year. I am not saying a name, but everyone knows who he is already. I have just one question about this; does Hannah act cute for her boyfriend?”

“Do… Do I?” Hannah stuttered and looked shyly at her members, biting her lip with a smile when seeing their face-expressions.

“You do,” Maria was fast to answer and the two hosts were fast to ask how she acts cute. “It’s not the typical aegyo style, but she is really adorable. Our baby.”

“I act cute with SNSD’s Yoona,” Hannah tried to change the subject.

“Hannah, we can talk about that later,” Hyungdon didn’t fall for it but at the same time, Carolina loudly brought up that Hannah and Yoona can be impossible at times and with her members’ natural help and skills in variety, the subject changed without any difficulties to hannah bringing out her aegyo around SNSD (NOTE: if you know how Yoona does her aegyo voice, you know what I mean). All of 5 Pieces were bringing out their weirdest voices, trying out aegyo in a different way and they laughed crazily by how fun they sounded – the hosts included.

“I’m curious about something,” Defconn started to say after three minutes of weird aegyo voices, “Hannah doesn’t have a drinking habit? Emelia randomly calls, Maria dances… Does Hannah act cute when she has taken a few glasses?”

All of them shook their heads, though Carolina didn’t really do anything.

“Hannah is more like…” Maria began explaining.

“-I mix up languages,” Hannah answered and Emelia gave a surprised look.

“So you know about that?”

Hannah gave her a cute grimace.

“You mix up languages when you are drunk?”

“Hannah doesn’t drink a lot, but when we do drink, only the ladies really know what Hannah is saying,” Maria nodded, agreeing to 100%.

“I have a very messy mind,” Hannah continued.

“Ah, I have thought about that. 5 Pieces know a lot of different languages; do you usually speak in one language with each other or how do you do? We know you speak Korean around us, but do you speak Swedish when you’re alone and such?”

“If it is just the ladies, we speak however we want,” Carolina answered with a nod, “It is crazy because two of us speak Chinese and then Japanese makes us just confused…”

“Could we perhaps get to hear a normal conversation of 5 Pieces? Think that you five are hanging out in the dorm, how do you normally talk?” the hosts were very curious to know; even shifting their positions in thoughts of how it normally is like.

“Alright, challenge accepted!” Carolina loved the idea. She talked brightly and turned from right to left in wonder where to start as she sat in the middle of the group.

The hosts burst out in wild laughing when Maria right away said in Korean that Carolina should get her something to drink; to which Carolina gave a pout and said they don’t have anything to drink, and that is when the challenge really began with the hosts just staring at them in awe. The girls started right away with their different languages talk about what drinks they would want, what they want to eat, in English talking about movies and in Japanese and Korean mixed together with some Swedish talked about this variety recording… No one on set understood them, even the staff is just spacing out, not really sure if they will be able to put subtitles on this for the program later. No sentence is in just one language; at least one word is in another language.

When 5 Pieces quieted down, Hyungdon stared over at their manager. “How can you live like this?”

“Oh, he only understands when we want him to,” Maria waved her hand towards the manager, as if it was no big deal. Both hosts just nodded, not saying against her or coming with a comment to it, which made the girls laugh.

“Hannah,” Hyungdon said and he smiled when seeing how alert she got by hearing her name, “as the youngest, do you have anything you want to say to the members? Someone who treats you badly or someone you want to say something to?”

The hosts laughed when seeing the guilty members reactions to the sudden question and Hannah made a face to her members, looking like she was really sorting out which one she has a problem with.

“Julia,” Hannah answered cutely and put a hand on Julia’s leg.

“Oh, you say Julia, why is that?”

“Julia is…” Hannah started to calmly answer, a smile growing when she kept her eyes on Julia, “Julia has released her own single, right? Her song is very popular.” All of them nodded in agreement. “But Julia is really annoying ever since she started to prepare for the single because it is the only thing she thinks about. We are preparing for our tour, but Julia keeps looking through her solo performances, showing it off to everyone-”

The laughter from everyone around her made Hannah’s voice die out and she just looked questioning at the hosts as if why she would do that.

“Julia is that true?” both hosts want to know, the members repeated the same question to put a pressure on her too.

“Truth is that… I have really longed to release my own song,” Julia answered with big eyes, looking desperate. “And when I finally got the chance to release my own song I felt extremely happy but I also had a name to live up to as being part of 5 Pieces – because the other members have also come out with their own songs and they do really good solo. I just wanted to learn-”

“Ha-ha!” Maria laughed too loud and clapped her hands once, “Her confidence has really risen to the top with the popularity of her song. She even says her songs are the best out of all 5 Pieces’.”

They laughed at how she seemed to have a problem with Julia’s sudden rise in confidence and Julia laughed too, nodding and she said she really like the attention given to her song – she had waited a long time to release a solo song. But the members did agree that it is a good song.

“If Hannah gets annoyed at a member, does she usually call her boyfriend for him to tell you all to back off?” Hyungdon tried.

“You think he has a chance against us?” Maria was fast to bite back with amusement. “He knows better than to try telling us to back off, Oppa, you know that.”

Hyungdon looked up at his co-host. “I think I will get punched soon by these guests…”

“Oppa,” Emelia quietly said to get his attention, “Don’t talk then.”

The funny thing with that is because when starting this segment in the earlier episode, the hosts had been worried if they were allowed to talk to 5 Pieces because of “overprotective” seniors in SM Entertainment, and Maria had coolly answered “don’t worry, we’ll tell you when to stop talking”. This was that moment.

 

“5 Pieces is very active through different online sites… You even have your own blog?” Defconn asked when the show begun again after commercials and the ladies nodded to answer. “But you aren’t the ones updating it all the time, am I right?”

“We’re the ones updating it,” Emelia answered.

“Emelia is the one who made the blog in first place, to keep our fans updated on our schedules and appearances,” Carolina kept on, nodding when she saw how impressed the hosts looked. “These days it is …”

“We take turns to update it,” Maria interrupted, “since I use Instagram often these days, I don’t upload things on the blog that often but we all go in there frequently to see comments from our fans.”

“Woa… Is it popular?” Hyungdon wondered and he smiled when the ladies laughed at his question.

“We get million of visitors every week,” Emelia answered, “I think that’s popular.”

“MILLION? Every week?? That is something only 5 Pieces can do!” Hyungdon kept praising them and he even gave Maria a high five. “But I have seen… where is it? We have a few pictures that 5 Pieces have uploaded on the blog…” He said it slowly as Hannah hurried over to the side to bring what the staff was showing them, and she gave the hosts politely the big card that was of the same size as their profile-rewriting cards.

There is several small pictures put together in the card of the members posing with their pets; in one picture it is Hannah and Ryo, another picture with Julia and both puppies, a few of Maria and Ace and so on… every picture is of the pets, even single shots. 5 Pieces giggled when they saw what the focus on the card was.

“You seem to upload a lot of things with these… Is it your own pets?”

“It is our own pets, yes.” All five are smiling brightly. Maria who was sitting closest got up on her feet to point. “Our kitten Ace was a gift from our fans. He is the boss because he is as cool as me.”

“He is the boss over the other pets? How many are there?”

“It’s two puppies, he is the boss over them,” Maria nodded and she then looked to her left at the other members when Emelia suddenly sat down on the floor and all the attention turned to the brown puppy that ran out on set. Both hosts screamed out in surprise while Julia in delight called for the white puppy Ryo to come out too. Everyone jokes about Ryo’s white fur on the white set, saying he couldn’t be seen on screen but both puppies seemed excited to finally get to join them that they kept running around on the set.

“This one is Michin,” Carolina said from her seat, pointing down at Michin, which means ‘crazy’ in Korean. Both hosts laughed and asked why they named him that, interrupted by Michin barking and he began running around with Emelia.

“I think they have forgotten about the filming,” Defconn joked as Emelia kept running around in the back with the puppies. Michin kept barking all excited to run around but he got quiet when Julia told him to be quiet for a second time. “Do they listen well to you?”

“These kids listen well to Julia,” Maria answered, pointing from left to right at the running puppies to Julia.

“Because I’m the one feeding them,” Julia added with a sleek smile, “Pets love the one who takes care of them – which in our group are me and Hannah.”

“Do you even have time to take care of puppies?” both hosts couldn’t understand it; busy 5 Pieces having pets.

“Of course; it is five of us and three of them,” Carolina gave the most stupid answer that made the hosts just gape at her.

Hannah had squatted down on the floor to pet Michin running back and forth in front of them now, but she laughed lightly by Carolina’s comment.

“Whose idea was it to get puppies? Your kitten – who isn’t here – was a gift from your fans. Was the puppies a gift too?” Hyungdon asked, glancing at Emelia playing with Ryo in the back and Hannah who was squatting in front of her seat played with Michin. It was suddenly a lively surrounding while the two hosts wanted to keep on – Hyungdon then noticed that his co-host Defconn had walked behind them to try join in the random running back and forth Emelia and Ryo was doing.

“Originally, we weren’t allowed to have any pets,” Maria answered, “it’s because other idols with pets have their families here in Korea that can take care of them once in a while, right? Since our families aren’t in Korea, we were told to no get any pets. Our fans had talked to our agency and managers to let us get a kitten at least because the five of us really wanted pets. And then it was last year … these two -” she pointed at Julia and Emelia in her strange way to point, “- one day they just came home with the puppies and we have kept them since.”

“Oh! So you said against SM?!”

“No-”

“They did!” Carolina burst out and pointed with both hands at Emelia and Julia. Emelia rushed forward to hit her on the back and the hosts laughed. Maria rolled her eyes, and Julia was pointing out her foot to join in Hannah and Michin without leaving her seat.

“Maybe a little bit,” Maria answered the question, giving up and Hyungdon looked surprised; someone admitted saying against their boss. “Our manager kept telling us we can’t keep them but one day became one week and that became a month… and here we are.”

“What if he suddenly comes and says you can’t keep them?”

Emelia scoffed in the back, carrying Ryo in her arms when taking her seat and Deconn came back to sit too. “They are family now.”

“Which member is the least close to the pets? Oh wait, first; do you all like dogs and cats?”

“Maria is more of a cat person,” Julia was fast to answer, “While I grew up around a lot of dogs. I think all of us are okay with dogs beside from Carolina.”

“Why is that?”

“I’m alright with dogs; I’m just … compared to the other members, I haven’t had any pets before,” Carolina tried to explain innocently. Hannah was still on the floor to keep the puppies company; Ryo has been put down on the floor too. “I’m not that good with animals…”

“It’s true,” Maria nodded, the hosts laughed at her joke. “She is hopeless. But we are giving a lot of love to our pets so our fans don’t need to worry – it’s not like we are scared or anything.”

“But I heard Maria is scared of dogs,” Hyungdon commented with a frown.

“How…” The ladies looked questioning at him and Hyungdon got that weird face-expression again. “How did you know that?”

“I’m a fan.”

“I’m only scared of big dogs,” Maria answered the first comment, and she showed with her hands something that wasn’t very big but she probably did mean big.

“Aren’t this one big?” Hyungdon pointed at Ryo.

“He is growing indeed, but in the beginning he was a tiny little puppy – very cute. He was smaller than our cat.”

“Ohh… So if we are going to do a game with the two members that aren’t that close to the puppies… Who will that be?”

“Carolina and Maria,” Emelia answered quickly without hesitation, and the hosts burst out laughing at how quick she answered. What made them laugh even more was that no one disagreed with her.

“Oh no, she is right,” Maria nodded when being asked why no one disagreed. “As said, Carolina is hopeless, and for me, I am still more of a cat-person. What’s the game we’re playing?”

“No patience,” Hyungdon laughed, remembering how she had been eager to play the dance game in the first episode. “The game we will play is about the love from your puppies – the four of us chosen to play the game will try to make the puppies come to us by holding out a candy for them.”

“Am I not allowed to play?” Julia asked. She sounded disappointed and Hyungdon look disappointed too when he saw her face.

“If you want you can play, no one says you can’t,” he answered, giving in to the sweet silence and the girls laughed at that.

The two hosts along with Carolina and Maria sat down in the very back with some space between them, sitting with the white surrounding and the segment to sit they just left have been removed. Hannah and Emelia were holding on to the pets some meters in front of the challengers while Julia gave each one of them a piece of dog candy, and impressing she was the one explaining once again how the rules would be – you were allowed to lure through words and the candy, but not move from your seat. The hosts announced what the winner would get; beef set.

“Let’s win this, ladies!” Maria fired up, pointing over at the puppies. “Head straight to captain, alright? You three, made them come my way.”

“Don’t cheat,” Hyungdon warned her.

“I’m not a cheater,” Maria blinked her eyes charmingly, which surprised both the hosts. “Our cheater isn’t playing.”

Emelia nodded, agreeing completely as she is 5 Pieces’ cheater. Both hosts found that as a good thing, and soon they were playing the game. It was loud. The hosts messed up the names for the puppies after a few seconds in to the game and the closer the puppies came the louder the shouting from the four players became. Hannah, Julia and Emelia that were not playing the game were just standing on the side to not be in the way, laughing more than anyone else when Hyungdon reached his hand out in front of Maria where Michin was about to go, but the puppy backed away the moment Maria pushed Hyungdon away from her.

“Stay on your side!” Maria roared, “Now look what you did! Michin, here, come here boy.”

“And the winner is…!” Julia was starting to cheer, seeing where Ryo is going. Emelia kept telling the puppies to go to the ladies (Maria and Carolina) because she wanted the beef set. Both puppies went to Carolina who was furthest away from the others, just because the others had started to push each other after what Hyungdon did. “Carolina!”

“The beef is ours!” Emelia cheers in her dark voice.

“Let’s do it again,” Hyungdon sighed, still sitting on the floor with Defconn. Maria had gotten up on her feet too while Hannah hurried up to Carolina to hold the puppies away from her as they both wanted to see if she had more candy for them and Carolina kept holding up her hands in fear for why they didn’t back away from her…

The directors said 5 Pieces won, handing the beef set to Emelia who took it first, and while the ladies cheered, the hosts didn’t like it at all, complaining and whining all until Maria said they are horrible losers. Eventually, the ladies had gotten the hosts up on their feet and with the puppies still happily running around on the set, they started the ending where the hosts asked 5 Pieces what they thought of the show.

“Emelia, please,” Hyungdon sighed when Emelia stepped back to try make Michin jump for her hand. She smirked and stepped back to stand with her ladies. Maria had already started to answer the question:

“-To come and have fun with Hyungdon and Defcoon,” Maria’s voice sounded very professional and formal, “We would gladly come back if you invite us and it was also fun that our puppies got some time on screen. Please keep liking Weekly Idol and 5 Pieces in the future. We are pieces of one-”

“5 Pieces!” the ladies finished with a bow and waved their hands for the different cameras.

The director said they were done filming, but the cameras kept rolling to film the ending when 5 Pieces said goodbye to the hosts and staff and also Julia ran a lap with the puppies too, laughing when she went off the stage last and she waved to a camera filming.

“Thank you for watching,” she sweetly said to the camera before leaving.

- “Isn’t Carolina the one who should speak Korean the best? She answers questions as if she doesn’t understand them… :/ I’m confused”

Answer on the one above - “Carolina is the most fluent in Korean, especially since her radio show a while back. It’s just her weird character, so she probably did understand the question but like her members say; she is weird. We all love that about her <3”

- “Their puppies are adorable!!!!!! OMG just look at them jumping and running!!”

- “Emelia is freaking cool and she stays relaxed throughout the whole show. Love how she just played with the puppies during recording xD They are so natural, it is amusing to watch ^^, Go 5 Pieces!”

Sorry for the late update! Have been so busy lately and I just haven't had the thought of what to happen on Weekly Idol...
