Hannah’s alarm wakes her up right away, and with big red eyes she hurries out of bed, looking around. July 28, she reminds herself. It’s Sunday morning, the second day concert in Shanghai, and her birthday. Knowing her members well, Hannah has been sleeping with a lot of worries for today ever since she was reminded of it last night. It was a really fun movie-time with Kyung Ho and the others, but at the back of her head she couldn’t stop worrying of today. She remembers the other members being woken up in the morning with the birthday song and cake or something by the bed, and that is why she woke up the way she did.

But Carolina is sleeping. It calms her just a bit to know her roommate is still sleeping and not mysteriously gone. She is still restless though, spending most of the time in the bathroom to not get a surprise if someone wants to enter the hotel-room with a birthday song. Hannah had made her members promise to not make a big deal of out her birthday, but when have they ever kept such a thing?

The first one to congratulate her on her birthday was FT Island’s Honggi, who actually had texted her after midnight to congratulate her and ask if he was the first one. He seemed to be in a great mood. Hannah’s members had congratulated her when she told them about the text (they were still watching the movie at that time) and now in the morning when Carolina wakes up, Hannah is congratulated again. Hannah sits down on the bed to pack her bag, seeing messages on her cell phone already, making her smile as she read through them and answer most.

Before Carolina is done in the bathroom, Hannah leaves the hotel-room (of course she tells her friend she leaves) and Hannah goes to Kyung Ho’s room to ay goodbye. He is going home now in the morning, and Hannah smiles when seeing how tired he is. He is too young to stay up that long and then wake up six hours later – in that age he should sleep maybe nine hours.

“Nuna, I bought you something yesterday,” Kyung Ho says and picks up a box from under his pillow. Hannah is sitting at the edge of his bed with a smile when he sits down next to her with the box in his hands. “Happy birthday”

Hannah opens it quietly; always thankful for everything Kyung Ho does as he is a brother to her, and when opening the box she begins to smile widely.

“You bought this yesterday?” Hannah laughs lightly and picks up a purple glass, having a plastic bag in hand-size filled with some kind of tiny colourful stones inside it.

Kyung Ho is nodding, getting up on his feet to take the plastic bag in his hand. “You pour the stones in the glass and then you can … have like, a picture or a candle in it too. The shop owner said it is very popular and pretty. And I got the glass in purple because it is your favourite colour, and the colourful stones are just to lighten you up when you look at it.” Kyung Ho gives the stones back to her, getting quiet too so Hannah looks up at him with a big smile.

“Thank you, Kyung Ho, it’s really beautiful,” she says, knowing he expects to hear something, and she puts an arm around him for a hug. Kyung Ho laughs happily.

“My manager wanted to help me, but I didn’t want his help – I know you better than him. So it is good? You really like it?”

“Of course I like it! It’s both meaningful and beautiful,” Hannah can’t stop smiling. Her little brother is so insecure when it comes to gifts. He sits down again, looking relieved, and Hannah laughs when hugging him again. She is happy he has gained weight; it doesn’t feel like she is hugging only bony anymore. “It’s the best birthday gift, thank you.”

Kyung Ho smiles widely at her. “But don’t tell Jonghyun Oppa I bought it for you.”

“Why not?” Hannah frowns. Jonghyun would probably like it.

“It’s not a very manly gift…”

She laughs at his words, really loudly she laughs, surprised that he worries about being manly for Jonghyun. Kyung Ho pouts, but Hannah honestly can’t stop laughing at him. “You’re so cute,” she laughs and puts her arms around him again, and this time, Kyung Ho laughs with her. She thinks he is cute, he laughs at that.

Hannah’s morning isn’t as bad as she feared. She can even eat breakfast without being surprised or scared, but at the same time… her members’ calmness is frightening. Even in the van on the way to the arena, Hannah glances at Julia who is looking at her performance on Music Core yesterday.

“I did really well on my goodbye stage…” she praises herself in a low voice. Hannah frowns at it. They did congratulate her, but it is weird.

Hannah looks down at her cell phone. She is checking twitter, reading tweet after tweet. Fans are congratulating her there, in all kind of languages and from all kind of countries – Hannah really like how fans write in English and then finishes off by writing which country they are from. With a yawn she looks at Julia who wants to show a brief moment of her performance that she thinks turned out superb.

“My eye-lashes are impressive here,” Julia says. At times, Hannah wonders where Julia hides all that confidence in herself. It is no news that Julia is confident, but surely she shows it a lot now when she has had her solo promotions. Hannah nods, not knowing if she can say anything to that, and she is actually happy that her own cell phone begins to ring so Julia won’t have to ask her what she thinks.

“Hannah,” she answers the call, and the smile returns in her face when someone is loudly singing the Korean birthday song on the other line. Julia looks up.

“Who is that?” she wonders.

“Even I can hear it,” Manager Kim sitting in front of Julia in the van chuckles, and Hannah laughs happily. Who else can it be than Jonghyun?

“Happy birthday my butterfly~” Jonghyun finishes cheerfully, hearing Hannah laugh with him.

“I thought you had forgotten about me,” she jokes with him, just because Jonghyun hasn’t texted her since the concert finished last night.

“I have been a very busy boyfriend. But I promise to make up for it.”

Hannah is smiling all the way to the arena, being on the phone with her boyfriend who is over-the-top in a great mood, and she gets in a great mood too, for a moment forgetting her member behaviour. Hannah gets to tell him about the movie-time and that Kyung Ho thought Jack Frost looked like Jonghyun (out of all people on earth) and Maria had laughed until she fell off the bed in agreement. But then she had said that is probably why Hannah has a crush on Jack Frost (Hannah do not mention that part to Jonghyun), but Maria got quiet once Emelia reminded her that she has a crush on Jack Frost too. Maria had forgotten she had the crush first. It is strange, all of them are strange.

Getting out of the van, Hannah is still on the phone but she smiles and waves over her shoulder when hearing fans cheering and calling for them. She wonders if fans in China knows it is her birthday too… then she remembers the tweets; some were from China, others were commenting that they are going on the concert today.

“Happy birthday, Hannah!” a Korean female staff greets the moment she sees Hannah inside the building, and Hannah smiles and thanks her, awkward because she is still on the phone with Jonghyun. He has a lot to say this morning. She doesn’t mind though, not at all; she really likes listening to his voice. Even the loud one he used when singing happy birthday to her.

Everyone she meets congratulates her; some of the dancers even ask if they should pull some birthday prank to her on the stage. Shiwan specifically asks if he should clip out a picture of Jonghyun’s face and hold it over his face when they are on stage later; and Hannah is not on the phone when he jokes about that. Hannah rolls her eyes, she laughs and jokes back to them and she is feeling good because she is in a surprisingly good mood now. She had been frowning in the van earlier that she thought she would worry all day about what her members were planning, but now she is just joking around with everyone like they always do.

Hannah’s favourite part backstage is when she sees the Japanese man filming for ‘5 Pieces – Stories from Japan’, and when greeting the man for the first time today Hannah hears the Japanese crew is there to film the birthday part, for their DVD Special Disc 4. All five members have it, and Hannah is smiling widely. She is speaking Japanese in China.

“Could you say ‘hello’?” the camera-man a few minutes later asks Hannah just when the youngest has sat down on a chair backstage for the break.

“Hello,” Hannah greets in Japanese, smiling brightly.

“Where are we at now?” the man asks and Hannah can’t stop smiling. She is being interviewed.

“We are in Shanghai for 5 Pieces’ BLACK & WHITE concert,” she answers, looking at him cutely before she glances away briefly to see what nail polish Maria is going to use at today’s concert. She looks back at the camera-man. “It’s hot in Shanghai.”

“Hotter than when we were at the arena tour?” he asks her and Hannah laughs.

“It’s not that hot, but it is… raining, outside, very … how do you say it? The air is… damp?”

Hannah looks at Emelia walking behind the camera-man, talking in Japanese.

“What is it in Korean?” Emelia asks.

“I don’t know,” Hannah laughs and hides behind her hand, embarrassed. She looks at the camera-man. “The weather is very hot in Shanghai,” she says, just repeating what she already has said and she laughs again when the man asks if she speaks Japanese or Korean better. “I’m not sure. I get very confused.”

“It’s okay, it is your birthday after all,” he cheers her up and Hannah smiles, nodding. “We wanted to bring Japanese food for your birthday, but we didn’t do that.”

“Why didn’t you?” Hannah pouts.

“Is there any Japanese food you would want to eat today?” he asks her, not answering her cute question and she bites her lip when thinking about it.

“Mizutaki,” Hannah remembers and she smiles softly when seeing the surprise on the camera-man when he asks with a laugh why just that. “Anything with chicken is good.”

“Okay, we will buy it for you next time.”

“Really?!” Hannah sounds surprised and she shines up, even her voice gets lighter. “You will really buy me mizutaki?”

“Next time,” he nods. Hannah puts out her pinkie finger, wanting him to promise on it, which he does and Hannah is smiling brighter.

“The best birthday ever,” she jokes with that bright smile at him.

A few minutes later, Hannah hear him ask those sitting in the sofa (Emelia is the one he asks, but Mi Young and Maria are sitting in one corner of the sofa, talking about colours are perfecting Maria’s fake nails), the question he asks or more likely mentions is that today is Hannah’s birthday, and Emelia smirks at it.

“Yes,” she answers in Japanese, giving a nod, “our youngest is getting a year older today.”

“Hannah is the last birthday this year,” he mentions for her.

“She is,” Emelia nods and smirks again when seeing Hannah looking at them, “She is one of fo-four? She is one of four summer birthday kids. I am the only different one.”

“Unique,” Hannah tells her from a distance and the man laughs.

“She just gave you a compliment,” he tells Emelia.

“She loves me,” Emelia proudly says and Hannah laughs from her distance before she walks up to them, coming to the other side to sit next to Emelia who takes Hannah’s hand in hers. “Hannah is the youngest; it means she only compliments me.”

“I think Emelia need to do better on stage today, so I am raising her confidence a bit,” Hannah corrects while nodding and the laughs when Emelia suddenly puts her fingers in Hannah’s neck and Hannah is turning and looking like a snake trying to get away, but since Emelia is holding on to her other hand, Hannah just laughs.

The camera-man is laughing a bit at them. “On Carolina’s birthday last week, you said it was her day. Shouldn’t it be Hannah’s day today?” He means that they should be nice to Hannah.

“It is her day; this is my present to her,” Emelia is teasing and gets up on her knees in the sofa to tickle Hannah even more in the neck so Hannah make the weirdest laugh ever, both of them laughing more when hearing it. Hannah misses their puppies when Emelia does this to her (this is torture!) because no one is barking or interfering.

Emelia ends the torture by hugging Hannah, giving her a weird kiss on her arm too (which, by the way, make Hannah laugh again as that is a strange thing to do) and Emelia then dances her way out the room, as if she is teasing Hannah some more.

The rest of the day passes by quickly. During both lunch and dinner, Hannah is congratulated by everyone again, but she is surprised there is no cake. Actually, she is disappointed. No cake on her birthday? She did receive a card though from some of the dancers, but other than that it is no celebration at all. And her members aren’t weird anymore; Hannah thinks she is overanalyzing everything because each time someone looks her way she thinks something is up. But when 5 Pieces opens their concert, looking hot today too in their outfits and being met by an audience that is just as crazy as yesterday’s, Hannah think they might wait to after the concert. Since the concert begins at 18:00, it will be over early, so maybe they will celebrate by then. If it had been any other member going through her birthday the way Hannah has gone through hers, they would spend half the day asking where the birthday cake is. Well, there was a birthday cake backstage sent in from fans, everything she has received at the arena has been from fans. Always grateful for them.

The second day is always easier to go through, but just today it feels like six hours before they are coming to the final act before the encore. It is for this one the ladies are wearing different pair of jeans; Hannah really likes her skinny jeans. They look good on her. 5 Pieces finishes singing [Diamond] and like rehearsals and yesterday, Maria calls out in English to the audience;

“Can you guys repeat after me? Happy birthday, Hannah!”

Maria cheers when the audience is half screaming and half repeating, and Hannah leans her head back with a laugh. They better not do anything else.

“A little louder, I know you can! One more time; Happy birthday!” Maria calls out to the audience and this time they call it out together.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HANNAH!”

Hannah bows with a smile. She has actually seen signs during the concert, fans wishing her a happy birthday; they knew it was her birthday. Carolina cheers with a laugh. “Happy birthday, magnae!” She says it in Korean.

“Everyone knew it was Hannah’s birthday today, right?” Emelia asks loudly and the audience answers while Hannah is quietly panicking to Julia, saying they better haven’t prepared anything. Emelia smirks at her. “Repeat after us; I am strong!”

Hannah feel so grateful when they begin to do the usual repeat part for [Wanna Be], and when they begin to sing she walks over to hit Maria on the arm for scaring her like that. Hannah’s heart skipped a beat, not knowing what they had prepared, so guess if she is happy they just wanted to that. The ladies are happy though; Hannah’s reaction was really good.

The ladies gather on the middle stage again when performing [Oppa] after [Wanna Be]. Hannah is either smiling or laughing, because whenever she glances at Carolina, the mascot is making a funny grimace towards her, and in the chorus, the ladies can’t stop messing with her. They dance and perform completely normally;

*Oppa, my oppa

[Maria] What should I do?

Oppa, my oppa

[Carolina] What should I say?

Oppa, my oppa

[] My heart beats so fast (I still don’t know oh)

Oppa, do I like you?*

During the last ‘Oppa, my oppa’ it is Hannah who takes the centre, and the first time it happens Hannah looks shocked when the other ladies are suddenly on both sides of her, doing the part cutely instead of dancing, and when Hannah sings her part they could be poking her, looking at her, Emelia puts her fingers above Hannah’s head from behind and Carolina once even lifts up Hannah’s top a bit; Hannah seriously panicked at what Carolina did, laughing and turning away. But she can live with this, she knows they fooled around with Carolina last week and today has been surprisingly good for being Hannah’s birthday. She has fun, and the audience is surely screaming themselves hoarse.

Towards the end of the song, Hannah kind of expects something to happen as it is something they always do. Hannah is the one who ends the song with a cute ‘Oppa, I like you (hi-hi)’ and the girls always have fun by doing a fun final pose or anything on that part, and this time, as she knows how the ladies have been throughout the concert, Hannah actually runs away and cutely does her part instead.

The ladies are laughing by the final, the audience as well, and Hannah breathes out when returning. She is ready to hit or kick any lady who comes too close to her, and that one is Carolina. But Hannah does it lightly with a smile. What they will do now is the so-called fake ending; they will say their goodbyes and finish it off with an important song.

“Hannah runs away from our love,” Maria complains in a low voice, speaking English in the microphone for the fans.

“I got all the love I need,” Hannah grimaces at her, and then takes a dramatic step forward, her whole arm pointing out at the surrounding, “from these people.” She bites her lip over the crazy response, knowing it isn’t something she usually does, but it is fun. The ladies laughs again and then they begin the fake ending speech, talking about today’s concert and experience and cheerfully asking the audience if they have had just as fun too.

“We got only one more song to sing for you all,” Maria announces like she always is supposed to do, and today like she has done before she looks at her members, looking sad. “Could the birthday baby say some words about the special song?”

Hannah nods and sadly looks out over their audience, their fans. “The last song is a really meaningful song for us. It is in Korean, but everyone here today have been singing along to the other songs so great… so I think you will know why it is so meaningful,” Hannah tells the fans in English, and she smiles when hearing them scream something. “This particular song, we dedicate to all fans around the world. Last week we sang it only for our fans in Seoul, and tonight, we sing it just for you here.” Hannah then speaks a little faster; “We hope you have had a great time with us tonight, thank you so much for coming and giving your all! Thank you!”

“Thank you!” Julia adds.

“We would love to thank everyone who came here tonight, for sharing another dream with 5 Pieces!” Emelia cheers to the audience and the ladies all bow together. When they stand up straight, [The Rainbows Colours] begins to play with Maria’s strong adlib for the ballad and the audience cheers.

Hannah is sadly smiling when walking around on the stages during the song. She waves and bows like always, and she thanks the fans for everything. During one part when she lifts up her hand to wave, Hannah suddenly drops the microphone in that hand and she gets a big shock when it falls on the stage. She picks it up and stays seated, awkwardly laughing at her mistake. It isn’t the first time she drops the microphone, but she can just feel her own face-expression when it happened and she looks up at the fans who are cheering her on. She gets back up, waving with the other hand while hurrying away.

They finish the stage, waving and saying goodbye to their fans before disappearing backstage where they are in a rush to put on the purple concert logo t-shirt and shorts (Hannah her boots with knee-high socks) while the encore video is played. Like expected, fans had been chanting for an encore.

Coming back out on the stage for the encore, 5 Pieces are wild. They go crazy performing [Hey! Hey! Hey!] and fans have been throwing up things on the stage, so when the song ends, Hannah picks up something she has kept her eyes on; a hair band with a baby crown tiara (obviously it is for a child because it is in pink made of cotton and it is just really childish). Hannah puts it on, smiling to the fans on the side screaming loudly at it and she hurries to her position as they begin to perform [I Love You], with Maria laughing when she sees Hannah beginning to sing with the pink baby tiara on her head, acting cute like usually. Emelia had brought a pair of led party sunglasses from backstage (a dancer had taken it from yesterday’s concert). So 5 Pieces performs while looking silly, but like every other idol they make it work. They have fun with their fans like this, and when [I Love You] comes to an end, Hannah is ready to begin performing 5 Pieces’ version of Julia’s [I’m Sleepy], but she stays quiet when some fans begins to sing. Hannah freezes, listening and she looks at her members when the whole arena begins to sing the birthday song in English. Her members look surprised and Maria gets up next to Hannah, linking her arm and singing along with the fans, and Hannah is just spacing out.

The song is beautiful; they are singing for her!

What Hannah didn’t know, was that it was Maria who had (without the microphone) made some fans near the stage begin to sing and slowly everyone else followed. Hannah is at the edge of the middle stage, staring out with teary eyes at the 10.000 fans singing for her, smiling and wanting to laugh at how cute their fans are.

Carolina and Julia messily begins to sing the song over again when it comes to an end and the arena begins to sing anew, but Hannah turns around, confused why they have to sing it again, and this time she bursts out laughing, walking further away by walking along the round stage, laughing at the little service trolley with a white sheet over it is being pulled out to the middle stage by Emelia and Carolina. They had begun to sing the song again when the trolley hadn’t reached the stage yet, because on top of the trolley it is a birthday cake. Hannah covers and laughs, leaning her head back and turning away from her members.

“Whoa!” she says in the microphone when everyone has stopped singing, the audience cheering. She is surprised.

“Come over here, Hannah,” Maria laughs and grabs her arm, pulling Hannah over to the other members, and she places Hannah in the middle. She looks at the cake, smiling behind her hand and she reads how it says ‘happy birthday Hannah’ in English when the view gets blurry from tears. Hannah turns her head away, hitting a smirking Emelia on her left side. Hannah is going to cry.

All day she thought they actually had listened to what she has told them, ‘no big celebration’, and she had actually been a little disappointed over the lack of attention from her members that it is her birthday. She did want a cake. And she did get happy when they surprised to congratulate her on stage before for [Wanna Be], but this? They did exactly what she didn’t want them to do.

Carolina begins to sing the birthday song again, a little strange version though, and the other ladies sing along in a vocal version, which makes Hannah laugh and cry. She wipes the first tear, knowing they want her to blow out the candles. Hannah swallows and when the fans begin to sing along strangely in a mess, she blows out the candles. Her chest is jumping from the laugh and cry.

“Happy birthday, baby!” Maria cheers in the microphone when hugging her. After the hug, she points out at the audience. “We wanted to celebrate our baby on stage with everyone today. She had no idea at all we were going to do this, but doesn’t she look pretty and prepared for a birthday celebration?”

Hannah gives out a whine and she laughs again at the fans chanting for her to not cry. When an audience tells you to not cry, of course you cry! Emelia pats her on the back while Carolina happily says Hannah had no clue at all, and Hannah is pouting from the tears. Julia wants her to say something.

“I don’t know what to say,” Hannah cries and she hides her face behind her hands when she can’t stop crying and the audience gives out a sound that she got so emotional for the surprise birthday party on stage. Emelia laughs when embracing her, hearing Hannah snuffle and cry.

“Hannah,” Maria says, breaking the hug and helps Hannah to nicely wipe the tears without ruining the make up.

Hannah with her red nose and rosy cheeks gives out a loud whine when Carolina leans around Maria, her fingers brushes against Hannah’s cheek and leaves something sticky. The audience laughs and the ladies do it too, beside from Hannah who whines and grabs some cake to run after Carolina with it.

They tricked her, they put up a surprise party and they put cake in her face!

Hannah throws the cake, with a pout laughing as it is thrown to the side of the stage and some fans look like they want to touch it. The youngest walks back to the others, but is fast to back when Carolina suddenly embraces her, locking Hannah’s arms against her body and the audience is screaming even more than Hannah when Maria is stepping up to them with the cake threatening in her hands. Hannah tries to turn around or avoid, and just as the cake is smacked up at her, Hannah bends down a bit so half the cake hits her face and the other half hits Carolina. The slices landing on the floor makes Carolina slip and since she is holding Hannah is a really hard grip, Hannah falls under her, every single one laughing a lot.

“Shanghai! Are you getting a little sleepy this summer?!” Julia is brightly asking when jumping away from the middle stage, and [I’m Sleepy] begins to play with a cheering audience and laughing ladies. Hannah smashes more cake in Carolina’s face and throws some of it out to the audience, grimacing when seeing Carolina eat the cake and throwing some after Emelia when running away from the middle stage. Hannah runs back to bring a towel with her, getting help from Maria to wipe the cake off (most of it…) and they are then singing the final encore song very brightly with fans and cake.

Walking around cheerfully, Hannah stops by the side of the stage once to give a pretty pose with the leftovers of the cake in her face to the fans holding their cell phones up. Hannah has the microphone in one hand and a towel in the other, and when reaching up to Emelia she hits her friend with the towel before she tries to wipe the cake from her face off on her friend.

It is a great ending of the concert, and after singing the song it is the final goodbye. The dancers come up on stage after that 5 Pieces have walked around bowing to everyone, everyone gathered on the main stage and Hannah being teased for the birthday cake.

“We really appreciate that all of you have come here to share your precious time with 5 Pieces,” Emelia is saying in her good Chinese, “it has been a precious time for us to be here in Shanghai with you and we would love to come back soon to have just as much fun.” She then begins to speak in English; “A big dream for 5 Pieces is to share music with the whole world, and this weekend I think we have come a small step forward by bringing our BLACK & WHITE tour all the way here. All of you have been amazing tonight and thank you for coming to our concert and for celebrating Hannah’s birthday here with us!”

“I love you!” Hannah suddenly shouts out in Chinese.

“I love you!!” Carolina repeats loudly with big eyes, making the audience laugh.

Emelia nudges Hannah for the youngest to say a few words (everyone else have done that already) and you can see Hannah flinch by it before she talks, “I have looked forward to spend my birthday here on stage with all our fans in Shanghai, but I didn’t expect to get a surprise party… Thank you for cheering us on and singing beautifully with us through the songs tonight. We look forward to come back and please get home safely! THANK YOU!”

“We are pieces of one!” Maria shouts and everyone on stage gives a bow when the five ladies together continue by saying: “5 Pieces!”

“And?” Emelia suddenly asks and reaches out the microphone to the fans, and the ladies all shine up when the arena response; “PUZZLE!”

“Thank you!”

It is a mess when heading off the stage. Bowing, waving and thanking repeatedly in a mess by the ladies while they head to the side, and Hannah sends hearts when seeing Carolina doing it and she finishes off with a bow before disappearing backstage.

Coming backstage, Hannah begins to hit her ladies and whine and complain for what they did, almost going to cry again and she pouts when seeing the camera-man filming for the Japanese DVD.

“They were so mean,” Hannah pouts like a child in Japanese to the man, slowing down to talk to him, “I didn’t know they were going to do that during the concert – they said they wouldn’t do it.”

“Anyway, happy birthday,” he tells her and Hannah laughs, thanking him.

She comes to the backstage room, ready to begin whining again but instead starts to laugh loudly and she heads out of the room.

“HANNAH!” Maria shouts for her to come back. Hannah returns to the room, no microphone in her hand so she can cover perfectly with both hands this time when seeing her members and staff being there with a new cake, a bigger cake. “Happy birthday!”

“I hate you,” Hannah mutters when putting her arms around her members. She says so only because she is crying again, and they are laughing at her. Hannah keeps crying, even when Emelia puts a spoonful of cake in , and Hannah turns away with a laugh when the camera is put up in her face.

Hannah hugs the stylists too, laughing when some dancers are fooling around by the door and it doesn’t actually take many minutes since the camera is catching the ladies running through the corridor, putting cold ice inside the male-dancers t-shirts, and celebrating Hannah by fooling around even more. And after this, they will go have a very mature dinner celebration, to congratulate Hannah on her birthday and for the successful concert in Shanghai.

With a picture taken backstage with the dancers and members, in their messy selves after the concert, Hannah had let their manager use her cell phone to take one of the pictures so she can upload it on twitter.

The next morning, 5 Pieces leave Shanghai, heading to Beijing over the day. 5 Pieces are exhausted after the weekend – you can hear their voices are a little weak – but that doesn’t stop them. They go on a variety show in their [WHO-I AM] promotional outfits, showing off their charisma in a beginning but once they begin to talk and do the interview, 5 Pieces loosen up. The MCs talk super fast so Emelia and Julia can’t show off their best when they have to listen but they can talk in Chinese; it is good there is a translator with them.

“The charm with 5 Pieces is that they have very different personalities,” one of the hosts is saying and the ladies are listening to the translator, “Having five different personalities; are there someone who always wins during an argument and someone who always looses?”

The moment the translator is done, Maria points at Carolina. “She always looses,” Maria says and she nods while it is translated. “And I always win.”

“You always win?” the male host laughs. “Why is it like that? Do they listen to you as the leader?”

“I always win because I am always right,” Maria nods but Emelia is shaking her head.

“Maria has personality that is very selfish, always thinking she is best,” Julia says in Chinese. “We let her win the bad arguments.”

“Ooooh,” the hosts seem interested.

Hannah is spacing out a lot. She has no idea of what the four MCs are saying and they are laughing and talking in mouth on each other, really fast too. She just spaces out when they talk about this, then reacts when they are asked the next question; who is the most childish one? Hannah looks at her members, wanting to see who they look at and she shakes her head when Maria looks at her.

“Depends,” Emelia answers, “Hannah is childish and stubborn, always the cute one. But being childish and immature is …”

“Emelia,” Julia nods. Hannah laughs at Julia opening up at this show. Julia keeps nodding when she is asked to give an example on the both childish ones. “First off, you know when children walk somewhere with their mother? Going shopping or take a walk and they have to hold their mother’s hand?”

The MCs are all nodding, saying everyone does that when they are children.

“We can’t go anywhere without Hannah having to link arm with you. At the airport, Hannah is always linking arm with someone. At times she has this really hard grip as if she is scared to loose the one she is holding on too,” Julia continues and Hannah laughs when the other members agree to this.

“Why does she do that?” the MCs ask Julia, making Hannah laugh even more.

“I don’t know!” Julia complains.

“Ah, I know one,” Carolina puts her hand up, wanting to answer too, “if we are eating, and I take some food from Hannah’s plate, she will start whining and tell anyone that I took her food. She will get like a real child whining about it.”

“But you always take my food,” Hannah pouts.

“See!”

“But I’m not whining!”

“That is whining…”

“I’m not childish, they just make me come off childish,” Hannah pouts, complaining at her members.

“Hannah is the youngest, can’t she be a little childish?” the MCs wonders, obviously liking her whining, “It makes her cute. What about Emelia then?”

“Emelia is immature,” Julia begins to say, her heart getting easier letting it all out; “She pull off pranks on us and then go around telling everyone about it for a laugh. She really likes to imitate us too, just to go on our nerves.”

“How do you imitate them?” the MCs gets curious to know, their eyes turns to Emelia who smirks.

“Each member has her own laugh. I imitate that some times,” Emelia answers and they ask for her to imitate them now. “Well, Carolina has the strangest laugh. She out of nowhere gives out a loud laugh, but she always does it when clapping her hands.”

Hannah wants to cover her ears when looking at Emelia preparing to imitate Carolina, and the moment Emelia begins to crazily overdo her facial expression to give out a kaahahahaha, leaning back in her seat and clapping her hands in short, fast motions, Carolina starts to laugh the same way because it is funny and everyone else on set laughs at it too. Emelia shows Maria’s imitation of laughing with her whole mouth open, having a ghost-expression with O-shaped mouth and also her eyes… it’s strange. Maria says she doesn’t laugh exactly like that.

“Julia has a very low laugh, like an evil laugh made in your throat,” Emelia explains before she imitates it quickly and the others laugh at it. “And Hannah has several types of laughs, but for each laugh she covers .”

She doesn’t imitate Hannah because the MCs say they just saw Hannah do it and Hannah lowers her head for giving herself away.

They keep going through the show, even playing really hilarious games. One game is some kind of wrestling, and the girls’ puts on these sumo wrestler costumes that are so hilarious that the girls can’t even walk correctly. Emelia runs in Carolina once and they both fall on the floor, Julia falls over them just to keep them there. It is like three hours of just a lot of laughing and game and the girls are having a blast pushing each other because once they fall on the floor, the sumo costume makes it impossible to get back up on your own. A fun part is that when Emelia and Maria are wrestling, they are so hilarious by making sounds and warnings to each other that Hannah laughs until she falls on her , and the sumo costume makes her roll on her back and since she is standing in the background, no one but the cameras and audience sees her fall until her laugh from the floor is heard.

“What is this one doing?” the MCs laugh when seeing her. Hannah tries to roll over on her right, laughing so badly when rolling on to her back once again and Carolina falls on the floor too when seeing Hannah struggling to get up, because she is clapping her hands so wildly according to the MCs.

If 5 Pieces wasn’t used to variety and if their fans weren’t used to see them on variety, 5 Pieces’ image would have been completely destroyed with this program. Lucky 5 Pieces then, their fans only expect this from them.

After this, they will do a charity performance in front of hundred of Chinese here in Beijing, an outdoor stage performing the latest hits before they will head back to Korea. A very exciting and fun day in Beijing
