After finishing the fan-signings, 5 Pieces head to Music Bank for the ending of the show. Their song [Daze] is up against SNSD’s [I Got A Boy] on today’s Song of the Week chart, just as it was yesterday on M Countdown. Yesterday, SNSD’s song came first, but the ladies in 5 Pieces cheered anyway: Carolina had texted all nine members in SNSD to congratulate them.

Hannah is wearing a long oversize t-shirt with long sleeves and under the long t-shirt she is wearing safety pants – as the outfit is as long as a dress – and a pair of knee-high socks and boots almost as high. The clothes for their [Oppa] promotions are really comfortable and though Hannah is wearing an outfit that reveals a few centimetres of her thighs, she isn’t bothered about it at all, maybe because she like the long socks and outfit overall.

Though the ladies arrive to Music Bank, they don’t go up on the stage right away. They do an interview backstage first, two of them – one for some entertainment talk and one for promotion. The music program rolls on, and after finishing the interview, 5 Pieces are waiting backstage for their pre-recorded performance and for the ending. Like always in their dressing-room, their pets are resting in the room and the puppies are happily waving their tails by the ladies walking inside and Hannah, walking last in, hears some familiar voices greeting them and Carolina who greets back in a loud voice:

“A-YO GG!”

SNSD’s Sooyoung laughs and says the same thing back with a hand in the air.

“Hi!” Hannah smiles happily when finally entering the room and embracing Tiffany who is greeting all five ladies in a hug and exchanging fast words with them. There are a lot of voices now, all members talking to each other (not all members of SNSD are in the room) and greeting after not seeing each other for a while. Hannah is soon sitting on a jacket on the floor with Jessica, playing around with the wild puppies who love getting attention and laughing, listening to the others in the room talking to each other about boring things and about daily things.

While waiting to head up on stage, Hannah and Jessica also takes a picture together with the two puppies; the two girls look really cute with their heads leaning to each other and puppies hugging under their chins.

“Is that true?” Jessica suddenly asks in a loud voice, looking over to the chairs where Maria and some others are sitting, and Hannah looks up too with a clueless face as she hadn’t been listening.

Maria is the one answering, her voice all excited and hands waving. “Yes! Oh my god, it’s true. I’m meeting this producer tomorrow to record a song and Hyekyung will be there, and I am so freaking excited about it!”

Hannah smiles while hearing them talk about it. Maria was the third member in 5 Pieces to make a side-debut as a solo artist, which happened just in 2012 while both Hannah and Emelia did it back in 2010. Maria has now been told that she will record new songs as a solo artist, to possibly make a solo debut later in 2013.

“So is it like a single or a real album?” Taeyeon is interested too, her eyes big.

“I have no idea! But image; Maria’s solo album, doesn’t it sound just amazing? A full-length album would be great…”

“I don’t think it will be a whole album though,” Sooyoung grimaces. “Doesn’t that sound too big?”

The others thinks about it and agrees, but just the thought of having more solo activities makes them still cheer Maria on, saying it will be amazing. Carolina looks proud when she fills in that the agency has said she might make a solo debut too; after their activities in Japan it will be discussed.

“You said I will be featuring in your first solo song,” Jessica mentions to Carolina whose face drops.

“Yes… well… that would be fun, wouldn’t it?” Carolina asks, her voice hesitating at first before she shines up in a smile. Hannah giggles, turning her attention back to Michin who tries to bite on Hannah’s boot, which she won’t allow so she lets him bite on the toy she has in her hand instead.

The ladies – mostly Julia and Hannah and their manager – are teaching and training the puppies for the basic commands like sit, lie down, stay and of course not letting them bite on everything. It is going well, the playful puppies love getting praise and candy and 5 Pieces’ manager is the one reminding the girls of training the puppies whenever they get the chance. At home, when waking a walk, when sitting backstage and not knowing what else to do: Hannah does it a little now and then, like now when she is sitting next to Jessica she tells Michin to sit down, making him sit before praising him and giving him candy.

Manager Kim tells them when to start and get ready and the members of SNSD are practically thrown out of the room because none of the ladies can focus with them around, and a few minutes later 5 Pieces are on the stage. Their performance was pre-recorded but to the audience sitting in front of the stage now still gets a performance that won’t be filmed or broadcasted and 5 Pieces are just happily performing on the stage, getting off the stage before the song ends for SNSD to take their positions.

Soon it is the ending of Music Bank and all artists are on the stage; SNSD and 5 Pieces are standing in a line next to each other, smiling over that their songs are running up for first place and the two MCs are standing far to the right and left on their sides because the two groups are so many members. Hannah is standing on the far way to the left, having her own group on her right with the other members of SNSD further to the right. The MCs just says a sentence each before the winner is being counted, and Hannah glances over to her right to see Maria holding her arm around Hyoyeon’s shoulders, both of them smiling and hugging an arm around the other. It’s good that Maria is wearing sneakers, because even if none of them are wearing heels, Hyoyeon is around Hannah’s height while Maria is 10cm taller – and it is noticeable.

“And the winner of this week’s K-Chart is…” the MC says while waiting for the board to announce it; “SNSD with [I Got A Boy]. Congratulations!”

Hannah and Emelia raises their hands and cheers with the audience, maybe a little more brightly than the other idols on stage but that doesn’t matter. The girls are cheering too when Hyoyeon mentions 5 Pieces in her speech and when the speech is done, the MCs taking over to end the show before the encore will begin, Hannah jumps and cheers when the members of SNSD are slinking out in front of 5 Pieces to get hugs; some of them go in to a group hug. Hannah congratulates the members, smiling and giving them hugs and she laughs when Yoona pats her on the . She tries to slink away from being touched on her but since it happens when Yoona has her arms wrapped around her, and Yoona just laughs happily when feeling Hannah not liking it. Everyone who once has patted Hannah on her knows she doesn’t like it a single bit, just that makes it so much fun to do it. Hannah still continues to smile, knowing Yoona is only doing it for fun, and for revenge she hugs on to Yoona’s waist in the hug before letting go, smiling at Sunny who is done hugging Emelia and the two of them hugs too.

Though SNSD are the winners, 5 Pieces stays on the stage with them for the first minute, supporting the friends and winners like friends and juniors should do, and even when getting off the stage the girls are smiling happily.

“So what is it you want to show me?” Hannah laughs when Jonghyun pulls her hand along with him.

He smiles charmingly over his shoulder at her, turning around to walk backwards and holds on to her hand with both of his, his head leaning back and forth and he smiles wider when seeing the shy smile Hannah gets. Jonghyun pulls her closer while he is still walking backwards and he runs his fingers through her hair, placing it behind her ear.

“You’ll see. It’s the secret I have been working on,” he tells her in a low voice and lets his lips brush against hers.

Hannah giggles, following him through the corridor at SM Entertainment. Instead of heading home after Music Bank to get some sleep, Hannah has had Jonghyun texting her the whole day to ask if she could drop by at the agency so in the end she decided to come and the moment they met he has been pulling her with him lightly towards the recording studio. When reaching the studio it is easy to see that no one is there even if the lamps are on, and Jonghyun leads her inside. He has his jacket and bag in the sofa, papers on the table and for some reason Hannah can guess he is the only one who has been here for a while.

“Where’s Pete?” Hannah wonders when he takes a seat, “And Hyekyung?”

Just this recording room is usually occupied by Pete – the genius who knows how to press the buttons in this room – and Hyekyung – the genius who knows how to write lyrics and produce – and together these two are marvellous; they have been working with 5 Pieces and other artists in SM Entertainment for many years and it is quite surprising that not one of them are here now, as they always seem to be working on something. Hannah rolls over one of the chairs next to Jonghyun to sit down next to him.

“They left,” he answers her questions, busy doing something on the computer. “They will probably come back around midnight… I don’t know if they even have their own place or something. But listen, Hannah, I got this stuff that I want you to listen to and I want you to say what you think of it.”

“Does it have your voice in it?” Hannah jokes with him and she smiles when he looks at her, his eyes charmingly again. His charming face-expression tells her his voice is in the stuff he wants her to listen to. “Then I know it will sound beautiful.”

Jonghyun gives out a low laugh and while still facing the computer he lifts his arm up (Hannah lowers her head) and he puts it around her to pull her in, giving her a peck on her head while Hannah just laughs. He then plays the track for her, leaning back in his chair and takes back his arm to listen to it and also look at Hannah. It is a ballad, and when she hears Jonghyun’s soft voice in it she smiles; Jonghyun smiles too when seeing her reaction to his voice and he leans out his hand to take hers, entwining their fingers carefully. Hannah pretends to not be bothered by their entwined fingers while trying to listen to the song, but just after half a minute she can’t stop smiling, knowing she can’t give a professional opinion about it because … his voice is just making her melt.

“I think you liked it,” Jonghyun smiles when the song comes to an end. “You look like you liked it.”

“I’m pretty obvious,” Hannah admits and shyly smiles when turning towards him, leaning her elbow on the armrest and lifts their entwined fingers up to her chin to smile against the back of his hand. “Why are you letting me listening to it if you knew I would like it?”

“Would it sound too cheesy if I say I did it to get a good reason to meet you?” Jonghyun asks and he laughs when she pushes her hand to his chest. “I’m joking with you, Hannah. This song is actually a duet… and the reason why I have been working so hard on it is because I wanted the two of us to sing it.”

Hannah gives a smiling sigh, letting go of his hand and looking at the computer screen where the song is before she looks over her shoulder at Jonghyun who keeps looking at her. “You weren’t satisfied with [Get Your Kiss]?”

He smiles, chuckling in his throat and sits up straight in his seat to get face-to-face with Hannah, leaning close to her. “That song was a y love song. This is a sweet love song,” he answers and puts his fingers lightly under her chin. “Will you sing it with me?” Hannah can feel him breathing on her and she keeps smiling, having his face close in front of her.

“Now?”

“Tomorrow,” Jonghyun answers, whispering. “Are you free this time tomorrow?”

Hannah nods and she giggles when he kisses her. “Can I hear it again?” she giggles and Jonghyun leans away, reaching for the papers on the table to let her look at the lyrics he has been working on while listening to the song again.

They listen through the song many times, ending up practicing it. Though they are a couple, they have a common love for music – for singing. Both of them laugh when trying out to make different adlibs, and though they don’t record they still practice the song.

Back in July, Jonghyun had created this song named [Get Your Kiss] that he and Hannah performed on SHINee’s concerts from July to December; also on SM Town’s concert they performed it a few times. It was extremely y and probably shocked a lot of fans, but it was fun to perform a song together because no one suspects them to be more than friends and Jonghyun seem to really love that. He loves to hear Hannah sing, to see her when she is the happiest, which is on the stage. He has seen it. No matter how much she is smiling or laughing, she looks the happiest on stage when performing, so when he got the chance to take the opportunity to perform with her at her happiest moment, he took it. it isn’t the same when performing at the ending of the SM Town concerts with all the other artists because at that time it is crowded while when they performed [Get Your Kiss] he got a chance to step up right in front of her, dance and sing together and just be able to perform together made him happy because he saw her being happy.

Jonghyun is fast to grab Hannah’s cell phone when she checks the text message she has just received from Maria. When she had read out what the text said, he just took it.

“Jonghyun,” Hannah whines and tries to take it back.

She puts her hand over his mouth when he pouts it out for a kiss, and she tries to reach her other hand to take the cell phone back. Jonghyun laughs, keeping the cell phone away from her and his eyes are smiling at her when she leans over him in his seat in a try to take the cell phone. She doesn’t give up until she takes a hold on the cell phone, and she sits back in her own seat, looking at her phone to close it.

“Maria’s radio has ended,” she sighs, ignoring that Jonghyun stands up, putting his hands on the armrests on each side of her, leaning down over her so their foreheads touches. “They will pick me up on the way home.”

“You can say you never saw it,” he tells her and smiles when seeing how she blushes. He moves to be able to stand up without leaning on his hands as he puts them both on her cheeks, his palms getting warmer from the heat of her cheeks, just as he expected and it makes him smile even more when making her look up at her. He gives her a kiss. “Or I can come over tonight?”

He keeps smiling when feeling her cheeks get warmer under his hands and he kisses her again when her hands are put on his, just so she won’t take his hands away. She doesn’t take his hands away but instead puts her arm around his neck to pull him closer, deepening the kiss.

Hannah is sitting in the sofa at the apartment, hugging her knees and looking at the TV together with Maria at some reprise of Criminal Minds. Maria is in love in Dr. Spencer Reid in the series and Hannah laughs whenever Maria repeats saying it. Hannah had texted Maria to ask if Jonghyun could stay the night and Jonghyun headed home to get some things before he will come over, so that is what Hannah is waiting for. Julia and Emelia have both gone to bed already while Carolina is sitting by a keyboard in her room, soft music being heard whenever you go by that room. Maria is lying in the sofa with her feet just a centimetre away from Hannah and with their kitten Ace lying in her arms, maybe she is talking more to the kitten than to Hannah…

She gets a text message from Jonghyun, a simple message; ‘let me in ;)’ and Hannah rushes up from the sofa in such a hurry that Maria starts laughing behind her, saying behind the blonde girl who disappears out the room that she is too cute. Hannah runs over to the hall, smiling when Michin comes running over too – he gets all excited when hearing someone running in the apartment – and he barks happily to the door when Hannah unlocks it.

“What a welcoming,” Jonghyun laughs when coming inside, making sure to not step on the jumping puppy. He puts his arm around Hannah for a brief hug before she steps back to let him take off jacket and shoes.

“Hannah! It’s a chase!” Maria calls from the living-room.

“Just come in,” Hannah waves for Jonghyun before she picks up Michin and hurries inside the living-room to not miss the chase on TV; and to not let Michin make Jonghyun crazy too with his endless jumping and barking. The moment Hannah walks away with the puppy it stops to bark, his tail still waving happily. Hannah sits back down in the sofa, her eyes glued on the TV screen to try to catch up with the minute she has missed. Jonghyun gives a wave to Maria when coming inside, glancing to the TV when he comes to sit down next to Hannah with his arm around her, leaning them back together.

“Why are you two always watching criminal series?” Jonghyun wonders when seeing what series it is.

“Because they are always on re-runs,” Maria simply answers, not taking her focus away from the TV at all.

Jonghyun looks at Hannah with a smile; she just looks at the TV too, focusing on the action and he leans in to hide his face in her hair hanging over her shoulder, and he is smiling against her hair while Hannah doesn’t seem to notice anything at all. He shifts in his seat to get further up, being able to hold her tight in his arm so she rests her head towards his chest and with his other hand he pats Michin who she keeps in her lap.

One thing that Hannah likes about Jonghyun is that he has nothing against just sitting and watching TV together with her members. Carolina comes to sit in the sofa too, all confused with what is going on as she doesn’t really watch Criminal Minds much and while Maria and Jonghyun are together both telling her what has happened in the episode as well as telling her to be quiet, Hannah is comfortably leaning towards her boyfriend with a smile, happy they are getting along with each other even if she isn’t really listening to them as she is focusing on the series on TV. Jonghyun’s chest jumps against her ear when he is laughing soundlessly and she smiles wider when he moves her head with his forehead to force a kiss on her cheek, and he smiles over her head afterwards at Maria who glances at them.

“Jonghyun, I hope you know that when this episode ends, it is bedtime – and no noise is allowed,” Maria tells him with her eyes back on the TV; she means when Criminal Minds ends. Hannah’s cheeks get hot when realising what Maria is talking about and Jonghyun actually can feel how stiff she gets in his embrace over Maria’s words, which makes him chuckle as he knows the reason for it.

“I’ll try to behave,” he jokes.

Carolina – who has been eating cheese balls that Maria left in a bowl – seems to choke on what she had in over his words and Hannah gets such a surprise that she sits up straight to hit him on his chest. Maria can’t hide a laugh from the other two girls’ reactions while Carolina grabs Hannah’s arm, looking at her with deep eyes.

“What is that supposed to mean?” Carolina hisses.

“He is joking, Carolina,” Hannah answers with a smile, but when leaning back she still gives Jonghyun a glare that tells him through her eyes that it was not funny. Jonghyun thinks it was funny so he keeps smiling and keeps his arm around her anew, and his smile does not fade for the rest of the episode on TV.

When the episode comes to an end, everyone goes to bed, or gets ready for bed and since Hannah had gotten ready before Jonghyun came, both of them just goes in to Hannah’s room. Their puppy Ryo has been sleeping in Julia’s room, which makes Hannah hope he will keep staying there because she closes the door shut in to her bedroom.

“I think Maria likes having me here,” Jonghyun says and puts his arms around Hannah when she has closed the door.

She looks up at him, feeling really tired but she smiles by having him there. He is really handsome, smiling that charmingly yet tiredly down at her with his strong arms around her and face that she never will get tired of looking at. Her arms are put around him, her hands held on his back, feeling his muscles under the fabric of his t-shirt and his fingers touching the tops of her hair lying down her own back.

“She likes it because Emelia doesn’t,” Hannah answers in a whisper.

Emelia only glares and give Jonghyun warnings lately, not trusting him at all when it comes to his relationship with Hannah. Jonghyun smiles by her words; it kind of make sense what she says because if Emelia is unhappy, then Maria is happy, and he nods his head to agree on it. Hannah closes her eyes when he rests his upper arms on her shoulders and runs his hands through her hair from front to back, removing all hair from her face and Hannah closes her eyes harder with a grimace as she doesn’t know what he is doing. She can hear him smile in front of her but doesn’t open her eyes even if she can’t help but to smile too.

“Will you be able to sleep if I’m next to you?” he breathes on her in a mere whisper, making Hannah giggle.

“Maybe,” she answers and opens her eyes just a little bit to see him still smiling at her, and she remembers that she has before said she can’t sleep with him next to her just because she doesn’t want to miss seeing him. “Are you making fun of me?”

He giggles and gives her a peck on her lips. “I just want to make sure I won’t be scolded tomorrow by your crew for not letting you sleep,” he assures her and gives her another peck before he giggles and puts his arms around her neck for a tight embrace. Hannah giggles too, holding on to his t-shirt tightly with her hands on his back and she does her best to not giggle too loudly when Jonghyun starts to kiss her on her cheek, on her jaw and on her hair, all happily. “Sssh, Maria will complain if you make too much noise,” Jonghyun is teasing her while still kissing her and Hannah gives out a shocked sound before grimacing and poking her fingers on his side in revenge. He laughs and lets his arms get off her, grabbing her hand to not be poked and he turns her around to push her down on the bed – making sure to not do it roughly so she won’t groan and Maria won’t come running – and Hannah giggles when he leans over her, smiling down at her.

“I feel like the happiest person alive,” Jonghyun whispers to her, brushing his lips against hers, “You make me the happiest person alive.”

Hannah doesn’t say anything at first, she looks him in the eyes and he thinks she is trying to smile but that doesn’t go so well, and when failing to smile she glides her arms around him to pull him in for a kiss, a deep kiss that Jonghyun gladly responses to.

It doesn’t take long until Jonghyun breaks away from the kiss and Hannah feels his weight shifting over to be next to her body, his hand by her jaw and he gives her another kiss before smiling at her. “Ready to sleep now?” he wonders and smiles when Hannah turns around to crawl up to her pillows, removing the quilt to her big bed.

“You are so fun at times, Jonghyun,” Hannah tells him as a joke, meaning his different way to behave, and Jonghyun smiles when crawling in under the quilt with her, smiling when pulling off his t-shirt and seeing her take off her cardigan (she is wearing a top under it) and smiling when she lies down with his arms around her, lying close to her and continuing to smile.

“Sleep well, Nabi,” he whispers before giving her a soft kiss on her cheek. Hannah gives him a kiss too before they are quietly lying there, giggling a little from time to time before the two tired idols fall asleep.

When morning comes, Jonghyun wakes up at the same time as Hannah – when her alarm sets off. He puts his strong arms around her when she is about to leave bed, forcing her to lie down next to him again.

“Just one minute,” he whispers, eyes closed and he breathes in the scent from her hair.

She doesn’t move, but Hannah makes sure to not breathe on him with her morning breath. She can hear Julia walking around in the apartment, drinking coffee to wake up and Emelia is only once heard muttering outside the door something about Jonghyun but Hannah knows Emelia is silently walking around in the apartment.

“Did you sleep well?” Hannah asks the young man lying next to her, letting her fingertips go up and down the arm wrapped around her, feeling his veins on his arms.

“Mm…” Jonghyun mumbles, still half-asleep. “So good. What about you?”

“I slept well,” Hannah whispers to answer.

“It was okay if I shower here, right?” Jonghyun wonders and Hannah giggles to answer, patting him on his arm before getting up. “Will you be in the bathroom with me? In case Emelia would want to pull some prank on me, or hurt me.”

“She wouldn’t hurt you,” Hannah laughs and pulls on her cardigan, but with a glance to Jonghyun who sits up in the bed she can see on his face that he doesn’t believe that. “Not seriously injure you, anyway.”

“That sounds safe,” Jonghyun mutters but smiles when getting up from bed, putting his arms around Hannah from behind to kiss her on her cheek. “Too bad we can’t do this more often…”

Hannah smiles at him before she continues to head to the door, giggling when Jonghyun whispers to her if she wants him to appear in front of her members with a bare upper body and she stops with a hand by the door to wait for him to put on his t-shirt before going out.

She is in the bathroom while he showers. She washes her face and brushes her teeth, sitting on the toilet seat when she is done to wait for him to be done too.
