Dawn 4.00pm

" Aish... It's only 4 in the morning and I can't sleep. What the hell?" I said in a fustrating tone, ruffling my hair in frustration. I stomped to the bathroom to get ready for school then pack my bags since I slept almost immediately after I reach home. "Although it's not a good thing to start a day with insufficient sleep, lets' start over today.Yumi, hwaiting! Don't be a crybaby. It's a brand new day!" I thought.

I went to school and I can tell you lessons are so so so boring... I can't resist myself to either daydreaming in class or doze off. Because of that, I was even punished and the two little childish people beside me can't stop smirking. Omg! I can seriously hate them!

When the class bell rang off, my eyes literally lit up as if I got all my energy back. "Kai oppa! You have training later right? Lets' go together!" I shouted. Kai looked stunned and confused as he crossed his eyebrows.  I explained" Oh. I am granted permission to watch the trainings of the basketball and volleyball team." I saw his face beamed and I smiled. Then I left with Exo-K, off to the volleyball court.

Their trainings were as tough as the basketball training. I was actually impressed by them. They could perservere the hardships for their interests. When they took breaks, I will always throw them their water bottles or help them to refill it. I know they are really exhausted since I experienced it before so I just want to help. After their training, I waved goodbye to Exo-K and left for home. "That Kai oppa is really helpful though."I thought when I recalled just now that he insisted on walking me back home. I rejected him apologetically since I have to keep my stay in school a secret.

"There! Everything is done finally!" I said as I clapped my hands, satisfied. Everything is organised in the small and crampy library staff storeroom. It was already 9pm. I dusted the dirt off myself and got my things ready for a relaxing and refreshing bath. I walked out of my room and went to bathe in the school's toilet... The first night there was... well,I can't say it's comfortable but I am already grateful. Nights went past as my bond with EXO grew stronger. I realised I wasn't the same Kim Yumi anymore.It's like I returned to my oldself. I've been crying less and laughing more. I learnt that actually Suho and Kris aren't as cold as I thought they were. The way they looked at their dongsaengs and treat them was really caring like a father. I loved how they look at their team mates, it's like they put their guards down and just enjoy each others company. I attended all their trainings so far and I was called their little helper during trainings. I like the nickname though even it sounded a little too rude.

After the basketball training today, I went out of school strolling down the streets. Somehow I was feeling down today, I didn't talk that much and I guess EXO noticed that, that's why they keep asking if I am ok and I just nodded. Actually, It was because tomorrow is my unnie's death anniversary. I couldn't help but be sad. I really missed her. I kept walking and walking.It's kinda of a habit of mine to walk until I drop beat when I am unhappy. It's the only way I could calm myself down and relieve myself. I was too focused in my thoughts unaware that actually a person was following me behind. I walked around the whole street back to school. It was already 9 plus that time thus I didn't care much about my surroundings since the principal said that everyone should be out by 9. I took out the card that the principal gave me to unlock the side gate to get inside school after the open hours. Neither did I know that the person behind me used his foot to prevent the gate from closing. Same this time, I was still "deaf".
