9th Piece of the Puzzle

Taeyeon got her car as a gift from her parents. She wanted it to be personally customized. Hence, it became her blue sanctuary.  From the color of the seats to the seatbelt, everything seemed like heaven.

 

Tiffany's hands were all over the car. She was touching all that could be touched.

The older girl chuckled at her best friend who was busy inspecting her car like a 7 year-old kid.

 

The younger girl then turned her eyes to the glove compartment infront of her. She opened it without hesitation, as if it was her own car. She then saw something that made her smile as if she won the lottery.

 

"OMG TAETAE!!!!!!!!"

 

Seeing her best friend that happy, Taeyeon couldn't help but laugh like an ahjumma, as everyone would say.

 

Tiffany got hold of a shades that was similar to what Taeyeon was wearing. And what made her squeal was the fact that it was PINK.

 

PINK is love. PINK is happiness. PINK is her life.

Tiffany loved everything PINK.

 

"TAETAE! I thought you hated pink? Why do you keep one inside your car?"

"I never said that. It's just not my favorite color. I don't hate it."

 

The truth was, Taeyeon bought it along with the blue shades she was wearing, hoping that someday, she'd be giving it to Tiffany.

 

"Or maybe you started liking pink because of me?" The younger girl stared intensely at Taeyeon's eyes, with a bit of teasing.

 

The older girl stopped breathing for a few seconds.

 

Indeed, Tiffany liked teasing her.

 

She heaved out one big sigh and rolled her eyes towards the steering wheel.

"Whatever you say.... blahblahblah!" Taeyeon pretended to sing random words.

 

Tiffany giggled at the dork beside her.

 

She looked at herself in the mirror while wearing the pink shades. "Taetae? How is it?" She asked, with a higher tone than normal.

 

Although Taeyeon couldn't see her best friend's eyes through the sunglasses, she could definitely feel that the girl's eyes were turning into crescent moons. The older girl, as a response, put her own glasses on her eyes too.

 

Taeyeon took out her phone from her bag and snapped a photo with the girl beside her.

The two girls posed as if they were in a photoshoot. They took several photos of them being dorks.

 

"If you want it, it's yours now." She mumbled while browsing through their photos in the gallery.
