Taeyeon couldn't keep calm anymore. She wasn't mad at Tiffany. She knew that Tiffany had been obsessed with Dennis Oh since only God knows when. But Tiffany's sobs were too much that she thought something already happened to her best friend.

 

Tiffany, on the other line, immediately stopped crying. She thought out of all people, Taeyeon would understand.

She was, indeed, her bestest friend after all.

 

[Taeyeon-ah. Sorry for making you worry about me. It's just that. I thought you'd understand.]

[Yes, I would. But you know, It's normal for celebrities to be in a relationship. We don't own them. They deserve to be happy too.]

 

[Think about this, Tae. What would you do if Rain oppa announced to the Republic of South Korea that he has a girlfriend?]

 

 

Taeyeon stared at the wall poster of Rain in her room.

Tiffany was right after all.

It . It hurts. It's the sad truth that all the fan girls have to accept.

 

[I perfectly understand you. I'm sorry. Don't worry, we'll go find ourselves our own prince charming, araso?]

 

But deep inside, she couldn't imagine Tiffany being in love with someone else. She wouldn't even want to imagine it. But reality bites, it will happen, someday.

 

 [Taetae. I feel lonely.]

 

'I really want to tell her that I'm just here. Always here for her. But she might find it creepy. But no. I'm her best friend. She won't find it weird right?'

 

[I sometimes feel that way too, Fany-ah. But whenever we're together, all the loneliness fades away in an instant. So don't ever feel that you're alone. I'll always be here.] 

 

Taeyeon mentally smacked herself for saying those words. It was silent all of a sudden. She got scared that Tiffany might have been creeped out by her sudden mushiness. 

 

She then realized that the phone ran out of battery.

'Did she hear what I said?'

She was silently praying that Tiffany didn't.

It was a regular day at school. The professor grouped the class into partners. The chosen partners would be making a presentation about the topics given to them respectively.

 

"Jang Wooyoung and Kim Taeyeon. Your topic is Family planning."
