12th Piece of the Puzzle

 

Wooyoung had this curious look when Taeyeon was on the phone. He wanted to know why she was smiling like an idiot but he didn't want to sound desperate so he just played it cool.

 

"I'll be waiting for your answer tomorrow."

"But Woo-"

She was cut by the guy for he didn't want "no" for an answer.

"I'll be going now. Thanks for today, Taengoo." 

 

Wooyoung left Taeyeon's house, thinking he earned a point in his love-o-meter.

"I am Jang Wooyoung. I can make any girl fall for me in just a second. Kim Taeyeon, you'll be mine SOON."

Saturdays meant one thing for college students like Kim Taeyeon: SLEEP.

 

Sleep like a pig.

Sleep like Sleeping Beauty.

Sleep like there's no tomorrow.

 

Just when she thought she'd be in bed all morning, a loud husky voice filled her room.

 

"TAAAAEEEE!!!!"

A creaking sound was heard as she felt another weight was added onto her bed.

 

"Taetae!!"

She felt tickles on her nose.

 

"Taeyeon-ah!!"

She felt continuous pokes on her chubby cheek.

 

"Uggh." Her eyebrows frowned for she didn't want to be disturbed at this hour.

The sleeping girl shifted her position to the other side of the bed.

 

"KIM TAEYEON!!!"

Still, no response.

 

Taeyeon felt a hot breath which made her shiver in an instant. She slowly opened her eyelids and became frozen upon realizing who was infront of her, blowing air on her face.

 

It felt like a dream.

It was like a scene from a romantic comedy.

Her heart was beating faster than that of a child's.

The distance between their faces was like the size of a thumb.

She didn't move for any further movement might lead to something more.

 

 

She just stayed still, enjoying the surreal moment in her bed.

"Fany ah... You came all the way here just to wake me up?" Taeyeon mumbled, preventing any further movement.

 

"Now you're awake. Go get ready now." Tiffany smiled victoriously as she pulled away.

 

The younger girl rushed towards the closet and searched for the blue top that she bought for Taeyeon last Christmas.

She jumped excitedly as she hurried back to the older girl's bed.

 

"Change into these, okay?" Tiffany's eyes turned into two crescents which made Taeyeon chuckle.

 

"It's too early in the morning Fany ah... Why are you here anyway?"
