Myungsoo gulped at the beautiful sight of you. He had seen your face every day, with a stony or otherwise agrressive look, which didn't really suit your face. But for once, it looked like you were as surprised amd seeing a new expression made you all the more beautiful, changing your features and lighting up your face. How cute you looked at that moment, and how stupid he was to have let Hae ksis him. He imeediately regretted it right there right now. 

But of course, Kim Myungsoo still had pride, and no way was he going to let that slip away. 

A mix of emotions ran across your face until it settled over one of disgust, and with a roll of your eyes, you turned your back on him to start your fricckin experiment that Jaehyo had prepared for you. Taking a small beaker, you started pouring some sodium hydroxide in a small bowl, mixing the food ingredients together as you went. 

L stared at you for some time- well more precisely your beautiful s-lined back- before clearing his throat loudly and turning back on Sungjong's work. He hated feeling insecure and lost without you, and the attempt of quenching down his feelings didn't help either. He just couldn't stop them from flowing, and this made him agonized and confused. * Dammit! Why am i acting this way!? Dude Myungsoo get a grip! I'm not that desperate for god's sake!*

The awkward silence was too hard to endure, and plus, he wanted to make amends to you. L cleared his throat and opened his mouth to say something, only to close it again. He just had a feeling that this was going to turn sour if he started a small talk as he would claim it. 

'uhh, can you pass me the sodium chloride please?" 

Your voice shook him to the core, and he looked up at you with a dazed look in his eyes. Just the sweet melodic sound of it could make him hit cloud nine. After such a long time of not having heard of it, hearing it on live right now just sent shivers down his spine, and his eyes widened fractionally at how much you did affect him. * Dude, L, you're seriously paranoid*

'S-sure' he scratched his head and timidly handed out the solution to you. Without even pinning a gaze on him, you took the sodium out of his hands, only to find it one second later splashed all over you. You raised your gaze as your eyes met his, and he gulped as he saw an angry look passing through, glazing your eyes like a bull. 

'What the Myungsoo!" You said through gritted teeth. It was a wonder you weren't tearing his eyes out at that particular moment. 

'' He swore to himself. Quickly, almost inhumanly, he grabbed you by the waist and put your hand under the sink, letting the water wash off the solution. He wasn't a pro in chemistry, but he was the jackpot in first aid, and this was helping a lot right now. Your hand turned from red to purple to blue, and he sighed in relief. He was so happy at the fact that you weren't hurt that he hadn't noticed how close you two were. You had, which was why you were turning your head and blushing like crazy. 

'You can let go now' You said softly. Yes, you were supposed to be mad at him, but the heat that he was radiating was just so damn y that you couldn't help but sigh. 

His eyes, full of relief, became hoody and you just knew that you were in some trouble. * Deep trouble*. 

'What if i don't want to?" He leaned in slightly, and you caught a whiff of his cologne which smelled like heaven. You closed your eyes almost involuntarily, and breathed it in. How you had missed that scent. 

* NO! You're still mad at him! *

'You will have to" You tried your best at your signature glare, but it didn't work this time, he continued leaning in. 

'Why did you kiss her?" You murmured softly, almost inaudibly. But he did hear, for he stopped to look at you, a questioning look in his eyes. 

'You really think i would kiss her, of all people? seriously Jae, i have wayyy better standards than that' He sighed and rolled his eyes ' and just so you know, she took me by surprise and kissed me, i didn't do anything' 

'But you didn't-'

'I know i should have been on my guard but seriously, if i could go back in time, it would, and always will be you i would want to lay my hands on' 

'You don't know-'

'and you don't know either so stop fighting your feelings and kiss me already'

'pff, and to think that-'

'Jae kiss me-'

'Seriously? Psch you're such a -'

'Jae i warned you-'

'Shut up!"

'Jae-'

'WHAAA_" You got cut off by his lips crashing down on yours, almost instinctively, you opened your lips to let him devour and explore you. The feeling of him holding you again just made you feel whole and refreshed, and as you slid your fingers into his hair, you realized how much he had been a part of your life, how much your day had been much brighter when he was at your side, and how much he meant to know, in this moment. You hesitantly kissed him back, feeling his body with your hands, and as his and yours entertwined together, you sighed in bliss, losing yourself into the kiss. 

'Jae' He said when he leaned away to breathe in some air. 

You opened your eyes and regarded him silently, almost like a lazy cat. 

'I love you'

a/n: Really really really sorry for short and late update! I feel really bad right now but i have a reason! I had to go stitch up my wounded finger ( read chapter a/n 47) coz the wound kept opening again and again and i was starting to lose kind of a lot ;( So i went to get it stitched up and it's kind of hard for me to write, i'm really sorry i took 3hrs to write this much so i hope you pardon me, thanks for understanding ;)
