You looked at your phone. Aih, I hope he didn’t get mad.

You got up late today. And now you were late for half an hour.

You kept walking faster. You still tired as you were spending your day with Jaehyo yesterday.

“Donghae ssi, mianne! I’m late.” You bowed when you stood in front of him. He set up to meet at a café. He looked up.

He nodded.

“Okay then, maybe it’s your privacy.” You smiled. The food was already there.

You bent a bit to tie your shoes. He was doing his. He finished it first and turned to you.

He saw you were struggling and tied it clumsily.

“That’s not the safest way to tie an ice-skate shoe, you ssi.” He got up and came near to you.

You stunned when he opened back the messy shoelace you done.

“It’s like this. If you tied it too loose, you will easily fall and the shoes will pull out from your feet. If you tied it too tight, your ankle will injure.” You looked at him who was doing your shoelaces.

“Okay, it’s done.” He looked up. You quickly turned away when you noticed how closed you’re. He smiled.

“Gomawo.” You tried to get up. But because of imbalance, you fell. Luckily, Donghae grabbed your waist quick.

“Gwenchana?”

“Um, yeh.”

“Be careful.” He held your hand. You slowly adapted the imbalance condition.

Both of you were there, at the entrance to the ice rink. You grabbed his hand tight.

“Usowo….”

“I’ll help you, careful.” He entered first while holding your hand.

“Now, put one foot in.” You slowly entered one foot.

“Oh…oh…”

“I’m holding you, don’t be afraid.” You entered the ice rink fully. Now, you were standing on the ice.

“Okay, slowly move your legs forward. One by one.”

“Uh..hoel…” You were scared.

You’re following his instructions. Sometimes, you took a glance to him.

You were starting again. However, few minutes later you fell again, together with Donghae.

“Stop being cute.” He blushed.

He smiled. You were enjoying your time. Donghae kept skating round and round.

“Yes? Is it the time?” He looked at his watch.

“No, I have something to tell you.” He raised a brow. You smiled sheepishly while loosened your grip on his hand.

“Actually, I can skate Donghae ssi.” You skated away. He shocked and stunned there for a minute. You were skating away while chuckling.

“Bo? you!” You burst your laugh out loud.

“Sorry! But thank you for teaching me patiently. I appreciate that and love that side of you. No wonder they say you’re kind-hearted.” Donghae skated towards you who stopped and turned to him.

“Are you testing me just now?”

“A sort of.” He just smiled.

“Okay, did I pass?”

“Not telling you now.” He pouted.

“Again.”

You laughed.

You turned to him. “Thanks for walked me home.”

“I want to send you with my car but you refused just now. At least, I have to walk you home right?” You smiled a bit.

“Maybe. But Donghae ssi, you’re special.”

He raised a brow. You chuckled.

“You’re the first one I’m giving permission to have skin ship and you’re the first one walk me home.” He looked shock.

“Chincha?” You nodded.

“Leejoon ssi and Jaehyo ssi, we just separated at our last destination. But you’re willing to send me home just now. I refused just because I want to know how your kind-hearted heart will react.” You paused.

“And you’re doing what I have expected.” He beamed.

“I just…” You smiled.

“Be happy Donghae ssi. Because you’re the first one to know where my house is.” Donghae looked shock again. You smiled.

“I trust your kind heart. Please keep secret about where my house is or to whom it’s belong.” He nodded.

You pressed the bell. Donghae looked at the family name on the golden plate at the gate. He was thinking something.

“Younger miss?” A voice heard.

“Neh, kimchi.”

The gate opened. You turned to Donghae.

“So we should separate here. I can’t let you enter any further. But I know you sense something. And just believe what you have saw and guess.”

He was about to say something. “Wait, I’m not finished.”

He nodded.

“Kamsahamnida for this date. I feel happy all the day. I could feel your sincerity and I melt on that. Like I said, you’re special. But somehow, I don’t know how my heart feels about your special character. Just wait till the last.”

“you, you’re special too. Thank you for trusting me. I never betray you even you aren’t picking me at the end. But I hope we could stay friend.”

“Of course, I will because I love to have more friends.” Donghae smiled.

“Okay, annyeong princess.” You smiled.

“Don’t call me that. Annyeong, Donghae ssi.” You waved and entered your house. The gate was closed.
