Epilogue

Amber's POV

"Kids! Shhhh! Listen to Appa!" I tried to shush this 5 monkeys but to no avail, the twins are hitting each other's head with their customize kids hockey stick. Luckily, they are wearing complete gears and helmets or else Soojung will kill me.

I took a nervous glance at the bleachers where Soojung is sitting with Jess, Kyungie, Luna, Vic. Thank heavens they are busy chatting or else, goodbye y time later.

Seulgi is spinning in front of Joohyun while the latter tries to poke her with the stick while my fluffy Yeri and Eunbi listens to me attentively. Eunbi is one of the Choi twins, Jess and Doc Soo's kids. Her twin brother is Johnny and he's at the other team.

Yeah... This is an exhibition between the Jung Girls vs the Kwon Boys.

My line up consists of my 8 year old Seulgi, 7 year old Joohyun, 6 year old Yeri, 4 year old twins Seung-hwan and Soo young, and last but not the least our goalkeeper - 3 year old Eunbi. Instead of calling them the Liu's, Jessica insisted to call them the Jung's since all of them are Jungs. I surrender.

The Kwon Boys consists of 7 year old Daebak and Manse, 6 year old Luhan and 5 year old Tao - Vic and Zhoumi's sons, 4 year old Taemin - Luna and Jonghyun's son, and last but not the least their goalkeeper - 3 year old Johnny. Doc Soo said to just make Johnny the goalkeeper because the boy will definitely just give the puck to her cousins instead of driving it to the goal. Hehehe...

He loves his cousins and sister so much he always says yes to everything the girls wants him to do. Tsk tsk tsk....

"Kids... Listen to Appa... Seulgibear! Joohyunie! Twins!" They stopped what they are doing and looked at me. Finally!

I cleared my throat and smiled at them "Listen girls, our game today is just for fun remember that. Do you all still remember what Amber Appa taught all of you?" They all nodded at me, all of them looking cute and innocent.

"If we win this, we will go to Lotte World this weekend! Do you like that girls?!" Their eyes went wide upon hearing Lotte World. "Don't hurt your oppas, okay? Eunbi-ah, don't let your oppas shoot the round thing, arasso?"

"Ne! Amber Samchon!" She grinned at me. Instead of calling me Auntie Amber, she declared by herself to call me samchon. "I will not let them shoot that !" I cringe at what she shouted covering . Jess suddenly turned to us with furrowed eyebrows. I grinned at her smiling.

"Eunbi-ah, it's called PUCK. Not .... My Gahd, your parents will kill me. Aiish..."

"But Amber samchon, I heard Mommy say that to Mama Soo last night. Mommy said '...Yes!' isn't it the same??" She asked me innocently and all I can do is scratch my head. Sigh. I need to talk to Doc Soo later or else their daughter will be a walking recorder.

"Okay Eunbi-ah, just don't repeat that again baby. Okay! Seulgibear no hard pushing baby.."

"Ne Appa!"

"Joohyun, don't make Taemin cry again."

"I'm not doing anything to him Appa! I was just smiling at him then he suddenly cried..." She sheepishly said to me but she gave me a hidden smirk. Oh Lord... Of all she can inherit to her Eomma, it's Soojung's weirdo habits.

"Just don't baby.." I turned to my twins who are so hyper they can't keep their hands still. "Twins, behave and listen to Appa. Do not push your oppas hard, I repeat babies. Do not. I know the two of you." My twins went to my sides each and hugged my leg. Seung-hwan was on my left leg while Soo young was on my right.

"Appa~ we promise to be good girls. We love you Appa!~ po po!" They puckered their lips and i gave them a peck each. My twins are the sweetest but behind those sweetness and cuteness, they are also the worst nightmares of their oppas especially Manse and Daebak.

I don't know how this game will go on. We should have tried field hockey first but Kwon that insisted to do it on ice again. Last week was a riot, Taemin was crying, my twins attacked their chinese cousins and the referee, and Seulgi bodychecked Daebak. The only consolation is my fluffy Yeri scoring a goal because Johnny made it wide open for her after saying 'Pwease!' to her cousin.

Hahaha! Poor Kwon... She almost wanna pull all her hair out of frustration to the rowdy bunch of kids playing ice hockey. But the worst is me, Soojung scolded me because Soo young cried when she got pushed by little Tao. I spent a night on the cold floor with the five kids sleeping beside her in our king sized bed.

It's okay, because I was immediately forgiven at wee hours in the morning when she went down to the floor to join me and make it warm. Not just warm, it was blazing hot. We made sure the kids are all sleeping like a log and we didn't made any noise. They were all wondering why Eomma is sleeping on top of me covered with a blanket when they woke up in the morning.

I just told them Eomma was cold and needed a hug that's why. They all just said 'Okay' and went to their room because I told them to take a bath and we will be eating pancakes and waffles for breakfast. I told Seulgi to lock our door once they get out because I will change clothes.

But the truth is, I don't want them to see Eomma on top of me. And because I don't want them to see the 'thing' down there that I forgot to take off because we were just so exhausted, that will be a nightmare for them. I wake Soojung up and told her the kids already went out. She asked me to join her in the shower which I willingly obliged, and there, we made all the noise we can that was muffled earlier.

Damn... 9 years and 5 kids later... She's still hot... I still can't get enough of her.

"Okay kids, sticks down..." They laid their sticks on the ice floor while holding it. I joined them and held down my stick too forming a circle. I started to tap my stick and they followed me "Ha, Deul, Se! Fighting!" We shouted all together, their mothers clapping their hands in the bleachers.

Their Shannon unnie came all the way from her work at Vic's restaurant. She did became a chef and Vic's partner together with Do-yeon. Their Do-yeon unnie is now one of the most bankable CF model and endorser. She also makes guest appearances now on dramas and TV shows. They already had their own apartments but they still visit and stay with us every moment they can to take care of their sisters.

They will always be our daughters, that will never change. The kids know that they are their unnies that's why they love them and listens to the two. Do-yeon even made a banner for them which is being waved by Tia now.

Tia is already an Architect working in one of the top architectural firms here in the country. She's still single and still has no plans of getting a boyfriend.

While Dani, she just finished her graduate studies in Harvard Business School. She and Jackson decided to break up after he graduated from the University and remained friends. After Dani finished her studies then, Jackson courted her again and got back together. He accompanied Dani in Boston the whole time she was studying.

They skated their way to their position, I skated beside Eunbi since she's just 3 years old and gave her pointers. I checked all their gears and helmets if it's all secured or Eomma will cut me to pieces and Jess will boil it to a soup.

After checking all of them, with a last reminder to Joohyun and my twins, the Kwon Boys also took their spot and the game will begin. Coach Mike will officiate the game for the first time that's why the kids are all looking at him like he's a legend. They all know what he does so I think this game will be good.

The one who officiated last week was Jackson and it turned into a riot. Seung-hwan attacked him with her stick making Jackson run for his life. When Soojung and I asked our daughter later that night on why she did that, she said she just wanted to because he made Auntie Dani cry. We laughed at what she said and explained to her clearly why.

What she meant with crying was Dani cried when Jackson proposed to her in our backyard two days before that game. I think the kids saw it and the twins especially Seung-hwan being closed to her Aunt Dani, misinterpreted the crying part. Soojung told her Aunt Dani was crying because she's happy not because she's sad.

She understood it all but still promised to protect her Aunt Dani if she cries again. Her promise was accompanied by a deadly Jung smirk that made me and Soojung looked at each other nervously.

The whistle blew and they quickly fought for possession of the puck like the kids they were. Seulgibear got hold of the puck and started to skate around protecting it with Daebak trying to get it on her, then passed it to her sister Joohyun. The twins did it again. Yes, they body checked their chinese cousins again and I saw Vic laughing at the bleachers.

Soojung was biting her lips controlling her laugh when Taemin skated away from Joohyun when my daughter was approaching with the puck. Luna was clapping her hands telling her boy to get the round rubber. Only Manse charged into her but my baby is smart, she fooled the boy and had the puck go through in between his legs. She quickly passed it to my fluffy Yeri and my daughter just smiled sweetly at her cousin Johnny. But the smile suddenly turned to a deadly smirk and swinged her stick like a pro shooting the puck on the goal.

Wow... It was like the same with my swing...

The girls celebrated their goal hugging each other. Soojung was taking their pictures from the bleachers with a big smile on her face proud of our daughters.

The game went on for 30 minutes. On that 30 minutes, Taemin didn't cry but all he did was skate away from Joohyun who is teasing him more. Yeri scored another goal and Eunbi blocked Daebak's goal to the delight of her Mommy Jessica. Kyungie was laughing at my cousin Kwon because a little girl blocked her son's goal. Seems like Eunbi was trained by Mommy at home.

Then it became a riot again because the twins started to be rowdy and attacked their Kwon cousins. That's when we stopped the game when Johnny started crying because he doesn't want a fight with his noonas. Such a softie hahaha..

In the end, the girls won but the twins are grounded by Eomma because they attacked Daebak and Manse with their sticks. My babies eventually said sorry to their oppas looking like cute puppies and hugged them cutely. Kyungie took their photos together to add on the kids' collections of photos with their cousins. Those two boys love their cousins and they just let the girls do anything to them.

But when it comes to protecting them, that's the time Daebak and Manse steps in. Especially at school, they don't let anyone bully their Seulgi Noona and their little cousins.

"Why don't we take a group picture? Babe, line up the kids!" Soojung instructed me. Yuri and I gathered the kids in the middle of the rink and made them stand there like a team. The boys are kneeling in front of the girls. They already took off their helmets that's why we can all see their smiling faces.

"Uncle Mike, you stand with the girls in the middle. Join your grandkids hehehe..." I jokingly told him.

"You make me feel old Amber... But I love these kids too.." he settled in between Seulgi and Joohyun.

Coach Mike and Dad treat each other civily after all that happened. At least no sarcastic remarks happening when they meet, not like before. The kids calls Coach Mike 'Grandpa' while they call Dad 'Aboeji'.

After the picture taking, Luna and Jonghyun said goodbye with Taemin because they have a dinner with Luna's parents. Vic and Zhoumi also left with Luhan and Tao because my cousin is needed at the restaurant.

The ones left are my family, the Kwon's, and the Choi's. We let the kids play skate in the ice, with Seulgi and the Kwon twins acting as eldest. My Seulgibear is teaching the small kids how to glide like her Eomma. She already started her training in Figure Skating and maybe by next year she can start competing.

We were all seating on the bleachers watching the kids play. Jess and Kyungie are talking about Johnny and Eunbi, about their progress at school because they already started Nursery and Kyungie is their teacher. Yuri and Doc Soo are talking about some colleagues of the doc who are having a fight over their On-call room that sometimes, they just go to the other room even if it's far just to give way to the two who are obviously has a thing for each other. But they just don't want to admit it, Doc Soo said.

"Babe..." Soojung called me and when I turned, I saw her with a beautiful smile on her face. She sat on my lap facing the rink and joined me in watching the kids. The twins hug the Kwons, then peppered Daebak and Manse's cheeks with kisses. Little Johnny was trailing his Joohyun noona tugging my daughter's sleeves.

I wrapped my arms on Soojung's waist hugging her from behind and settled my chin on her right shoulder. Her scent filling my nosetrils, it's still the refreshing scent of Green Tea I love smelling on her eversince we met in Kangin's bar in Jeju.

All these years, I still can't believe I have these beautiful kids and this Goddess on my lap. I remember dreaming of living alone in an island, away from all the stress of fame and sports.

But after I met Soojung that night, my life and my dreams changed.

"Hey weirdo..." I whispered at her earning a giggle.

"Hey Johnny~..." She gave me a peck on my cheeks and rubbed her nose there too.

"What's my last name again?"

"Hmmm.... I think it has 3 letters on it..." She playfully whispered while hiding her smile.

I turned her body to face me raising my eyebrows teasingly "Don't tell me you already forgot it?! Aww~ that hurts!" I clutch my chest jokingly feigning hurt. She cupped my face and narrowed her eyes on me smiling "Maybe you should help me remember it..."

She giggled at me and brushed our noses together, not minding the surroundings. It's just me and her, in our own little world. I bit her bottom lips and placed a lingering kiss making her smile.

"Do you remember it now?"

"It's Liu, Amber J. Liu."

"Good girl... I thought you forgot it.."

"How can I forgot your last name Liu..." I bit my lips when she smirked at me ily and whispered to my ears "It's my last name too... I told you before, remember? Back in your bathroom at Jeju on our first morning when we met..." I smiled at the memory and looked at Soojung who's also looking at me lovingly.

I'll never get tired looking at those beautiful eyes full of love, care, and kindness. Looking at her eyes still gives me the same scenarios I saw that morning. Beautiful mornings, calm sea, cold breeze, her sunny smile, beautiful sunrise' and wonderful sunsets shared with her in my arms. The only difference now is, the kids are added.

She flashed me that beautiful smile of hers that is only reserved for me making my heart beat wildly. All these years, she can still make my heart go crazy with just a smile. She can still leave me breathless.

"You're so... so..."

"Adorable? Cute? Squishy? Puffy?"

"Hahaha... You're already a mother of five but you still act like a cute highschooler!" She laughed softly at what I said flipping her hair grinning. "Wae?! I'm not cute anymore?"

I poked her cheek with my index finger but she turned and caught it between her teeth biting it. She released my finger and kissed it lightly then gave me a soft kiss. We broke the kiss and grinned at each other then we watched the kids again as Yeri played with the puck using her hockey stick and passed it to her younger cousin Eunbi. The two are playing together separately from the group of rowdy kids.

"Looks like one of your little princess has your Magic Swing..." She told me while watching Yeri swing her stick shooting the puck in the goal. She and Eunbi celebrated together hugging each other.

The other kids saw what Yeri did and her unnies Seulgi and Joohyun went to her and hugged her too, happy at what their younger sister did. The twins looked at each other and smirked, sharing a mischievous grin.

"They're getting big now Am... The twins already started schooling. Next thing we know, they will be in Middle school and their unnies will be in High school. They grow up so fast!"

"I know Soojung... I miss holding them in my arms when they were still babies." Their baby scent still lingers in my mind, their first achievements always recorded. Their first smile, first words they uttered, the first time they walked with their wobbly knees, Seulgi's first time to skate, Joohyun's first masterpiece on my back that Soojung captured on camera, Yeri's birth that was so special to me, the twins' first cry.

All of it are precious moments I wouldn't exchange for fame, money, anything.

"Why don't we have a baby again?" I blurted out all of a sudden surprising Soojung. She stared at me wide eyed, confuse and finding the right words to say.

"W-WHAT?! Are you serious Am?!" I grinned at her smiling like a crazy monkey that I am.

Why not?

Jessica heard what we are talking about and threw a towel at our direction hitting the back of my head "YAH! What do you think of my sister?! A baby machine??!"

Doc Soo calmed her very pregnant wife holding my sister in-law's 25 week old belly "Love... Calm down... Remember the baby.. come on.. smile.." she clenched her teeth smiling.

"It's not easy to be pregnant! Why don't Amber do it! You get pregnant you monkey!!" Phewww... Hormones got her hehehe...

"Come on Love... Breathe in, breathe out..." Jess followed her wife doing the breathing exercise "Good girl... Relax love..."

"Jess relax and close your eyes... Think happy thoughts..." Kyungie told her while rubbing her back.

"Yeah... Relax Jess... Look at those kids killing each other.." Kyungie glared at Yuri and earned a kick from her wife.

"Sorry unnie... It's just something that suddenly entered my mind. Just relax unnie..." I grinned at Jess making a peace sign. Soojung was controlling her laughter or else Jess will go ballistic on her. Jessica's pregnancy this time is really scary, Doc Soo is always on alert.

Jessica got settled and went back to chatting with Kyungie. Soojung pinched me on the sides giggling and whispering.

"You should have just whispered it to me. You know how sharp Unnie's hearing nowadays, her senses are heightened because of her pregnancy."

"Sometimes I think she turned into a mutant... Ouch~" she pinched me again making me laugh.

We shared a comfortable silent while watching the kids when she suddenly muttered to me in a low voice.

"Do you really want another baby Am? I mean... we already have 5." She said while looking at the twins laughing at Joohyun.

"The question is, do you want it Soojung? Because I know it ain't easy especially when you gave birth to the twins. You labouring for 8 hours almost made me crazy nervous. I just blurted it out all of a sudden babe, don't take it seriously." She turned to me reading my expression. I can see on her eyes that she's thinking about it and she's not going to shrug it out.

"I don't...know.. Do.. y-you.. want it Am?" I brushed aside the hair that is covering her face and traced the mole looking at her lips.

"It's a big decision Soojung... I don't want to risk your health. It was just something I suddenly thought a while ago because you said the kids are growing up. I just... miss taking care of a baby, you know... their smell and seeing all the first."

Our eyes met and on that moment we don't even have to say words to each other. It was our eyes talking, I see how her eyes formed into a crinkle and into a smile.

"You know... We can always talk about it. Why don't you.... convince me." She smirked at me ily, wriggling her eyebrows at me playfully.

"Hmmm.... Jeongmal?" I smiled at her and she lean on me whispering in my ear...

"Maybe you can convince me tonight... When the kids are already sleeping... You, me, and some vanilla ice cream sundae with lots of whipped cream and chocolate syrup. What do you say?" I bit my lips and stared at her, thinking about all the ways I will do to convince her.

She giggled at me when I also whispered to her..

"I'll even put a cherry on top.." I winked at her and we laughed at each other's playfulness.

I think I have to visit my tattoo artist again.
