Chapter 40
On the Brink of Insanity“Kibum, it’s almost time for Mir to get out of school, are you going to leave soon?” Donghae said walking into the living room where Kibum was sitting on the couch reading another book from Mir’s bookshelf. He’d already finished most of them by now and Heechul promised that once they were all read he’d buy Kibum some more books.
“I know, I’ll leave in a few minutes. Donghae, will you come with me?” Kibum replied, closing the book with his finger in the spine so he didn’t lose the page. Donghae shook his head and walked over to sit on the couch across from Kibum.
“Why? You know the way, right?” He replied, since their new house was pretty close to where they used to live.
“Yeah, but I don’t want to go alone,” Kibum told him, setting his book aside carelessly.
“Well, I want to spend time with Eunhyuk. Why don’t you ask Henry to go with you?” Donghae suggested, but Kibum shook his head.
“I already did, he said I have to go alone because me and Mir are supposedly going on a date,” Kibum informed him. Because Mir had not forgotten the promise the Kibum had made him on Friday about taking him on a date Monday.
“Then you have to go alone. Sorry, Kibum,” Donghae said with a shrug. He stood up and left in search for his boyfriend.
Kibum sighed softly and glanced at the clock; he really had to leave soon or Mir would have to wait for him, which he knew would not make the younger boy happy. But none-the-less, he stood up anyways and walked out of the living room. He went upstairs and knocked on Heechul’s bedroom door and went in when they called him in.
“Kibummie,” Heechul said with a grin as Kibum walked over to where he and Leeteuk were cuddling together. Kibum gave him a soft smile in return, thinking it was sweet the two of them together.
