The 50th Baeksang Arts Awards has started off for live TV this evening; an award show that is to honour outstanding achievements in the South Korean entertainment industry for best Korean films, television and theatre. 5 Pieces’ Emelia and Maria walked the red carpet together, beautifully and lightly dressed in long dresses, where the two tall ladies once again got to show off their height and model-bodies. Backstage it is all five members of 5 Pieces, but only the two who walked the red carpet will soon go up on the stage to present one of the awards.

Emelia looks drop-dead gorgeous, like a lady, with her long honey brown hair tightly put up in a high pony-tail and to present the award all hair has been rolled into an elegant bun. If you divide the make-up into three stages, stage one would be light, like the one you wear for variety shows or interviews; stage two would be a little more, perfect for the stage or appearances, and stage three would be for a photo shoot, heavy and wild. For tonight’s performance of [Girls Power] they will have stage three, so now Emelia and Maria both are wearing a heavier version of stage two, to present the award without looking like they will start dancing right there. Maria looks just as gorgeous with her blonde hair styled in heavy locks and they are both in the dresses they wore at the red carpet. Their stylist love to dress them up.

The hall is filled with actors and actresses and directors and fans sitting on the red seats while the stage looks big in blue. The most popular stars are here today, not singing stars but acting stars. It is a different crowd than what 5 Pieces usually stands before, and to present award is making them nervous, yet it can not be spotted on the two confident young ladies when they are presented out on the stage, coolly walking out there in their high heels and long dresses, smiling out at the handsome and pretty faces of stars that are applauding them.

Emelia and Maria stops next to each other with a microphone each at hand and in the other hand they are holding a card for what to say.

“Hello everyone, I am 5 Pieces’ Maria,” the leader kindly introduces herself, so calm and elegant compared to in the past.

“And I’m 5 Pieces’ Emelia,” the rapper lowers her head lightly; though she too looks calm she looks much more charismatic with her face structure.

“It is almost like a dream seeing all these amazing and talented people sitting before us, that I just have to ask now; Emelia,” Maria says and turns to her right, “Who have you looked forward to see tonight?”

“Um… Everyone here is someone I have looked forward to see in one way or another… But for you, Maria, I think I know who you have looked forward to see.”

“Oh, really? How can you know?”

“You stumbled down the stairs earlier when we were backstage when you saw that person,” Emelia answers and then sighs out at the audience, “Kim Soo Hyun must be feeling very bad for all the girls he makes fall for him.”

“Hey, falling for an alien isn’t all that bad, okay?” Maria defends and they laugh at the joke with the audience – Maria cheers on the inside that the audience laughs at it, and on the outside she smiles at the audience. “You all agree, don’t you? Yes…” She glances down just quickly on her card. “We enjoy watching movies and dramas whenever we have the time, whether we do it alone or with someone else, it is something you can always enjoy to make us cry, laugh, shiver and more. Therefore it is a great honour for us to not just be able to stand here on the stage and see all amazing actors and actresses look up on us-” a pun that some laughs at “-but it is also a great honour to be able to present one of the awards for the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards…”

Backstage, the other three members are watching the TV-screen in their room, smiling at their friends presenting the award. Emelia and Maria looks great on the stage, they look like two models rather than two artists, and stylist Yong Hyun admits the choice of dresses are definitely one of a kind. Light and simple.

Hannah is not dressed simply though. Her make-up is on stage three; eyeliner in a line above and under her eyes, making them looks bigger while she has glittery eye-shadow on her eyelid and darker shadow over it and red lips. Her pastel baby blue hair has been pulled back in a few small lines to at the back of her head gather up in a beehive mess falling down her back with the help of hair extensions. She feels like she can not make a single expression, afraid her make-up will start falling apart. Though her hair and make-up surely is something to admire, 5 Pieces are all dressed gorgeous for their y performance. Wearing her y leather shorts with high waist with a lot of zip-up details and a leather belt, Hannah is wearing a leather top that looks like a bra of some kind underneath a sheer blouse with wide sleeves and prepared without any buttons so the blouse is tugged inside the high-waist shorts with a deep v-neck tugged in as well and to cover up the golden white sheer the fabric is covered in letters. She is wearing skin-coloured thighs and hot black leather thigh high platform wedge boots that look absolutely stunning and honestly are the most comfortable pair for this song that Hannah has tried on that she has been asking her stylist if she can wear them every time they will perform [Girls Power] – of course her stylist has other pairs for her to wear, so, no.

“Oooooooh,” Maria hurries inside the room and laughs, “That was embarrassing.”

“What are you saying? You did awesome,” Hannah cheers her on and Maria cups her own face cutely to make a grimace at Hannah.

“You think?” Maria presses her cheeks but is quickly pushed to the make-up table where their make-up stylist says she always does well so no need to blush for it. “I’m not blushing; my face is just warm after seeing all those pretty faces looking at me.”

To wait and wait for their performance is honestly really boring. Hannah gets more and more restless having to wait for another hour. EXO have their performance sometime during the middle of the award show, closely after Emelia and Maria’s appearance on the stage. That is fun to watch, and when EXO’s performance is done the two groups talk a bit and watch the awards together. Hannah is too restless to be still and watch though, and she doesn’t talk much either. When being backstage they aren’t wearing the high heels, so Hannah is in slippers and wearing a gown over her outfit.

While waiting she takes pictures with her members, and she takes a sneaky picture alone that she sends to Jonghyun, writing ‘this is how I look tonight, are you still watching?’. Jonghyun wrote to her that he is watching the award show, waiting for 5 Pieces’ performance and teasing her because he knows what kind of concept it is. Seconds after her picture, Jonghyun sends a bunch of icons that Hannah doesn’t even understand half of but she looks very happy when he asks what kind of outfit that is and if she wants help to take it off later. Boys will be boys, as Maria tends to say.

The last twenty minutes the ladies are really getting ready, touching up on their make-up and hair, making sure their clothes is actually sitting; their clothes are tight and fitting, and they put on the shoes and warm up both voices and bodies even if they aren’t going to sing live. Today they will only perform [Girls Power], meaning there are female dancers but no male dancers, though they doesn’t change the mood at all and the girls all gathered they are cheering each other on.

It might not be the first time performing the song as they last week had their showcase, but it is the first time on live TV, to actually perform the new song and show the new concept for an audience this way. The showcase was a closed performance, only for a certain amount of special people to see, and this is an open performance for the best stars and a whole nation to see. Nerve-wracking indeed, making the group backstage warm up their bodies a little more. Before they will have to go to the stage, Maria gathers them all around in the room, 5 Pieces and their female dancers; their managers and stylists are also in the room. Hands held in to the centre, 5 Pieces prepare for their usual cheer.

“Okay, ladies,” Maria starts off in a serious tone, and like always taking on the leader role for the cheer. “The album was released today, and we have all heard the radio talking about it nonstop and articles already coming out mentioning all the charts OUR songs are topping, including international ones. Our album is doing great hours after release; now let’s not disappoint them with our brilliant performance! Today I do not allow any mistakes because we have killed this during practice. Let’s go out there, be y and confident, because we all look flawless tonight.”

“The most important thing is confidence,” one of the dancers reminds them and everyone nervously nods.

Maria shoots them all a smile. “Now let’s go out there and show them the meaning of Girls Power. Who are we?”

Just as Hannah opens to shout out 5 Pieces, she stops as Carolina asks if they are shouting 5 Pieces or Girls Power and everyone burst out in complaints that she ruined the great cheer. “I’m sorry, but we talked about changing the cheer, did we not?”

“We did that once during the party, this is the real deal and we’ll do it like we always does it,” Emelia answers and gets ready to shout.

“But-”

“Let’s go with the usual,” Julia agrees and Carolina pouts.

“Fine…”

“Okay?” Maria asks, annoyed they were interrupted, and with half the excitement she asks; “Who are we?”

“5 Pieces.”

By the half-hearted response from the others, Maria grimaces and stomps with her foot when shouting; “WHO ARE WE?!”

“5 PIECES!” everyone shouts together and throw up their hands in the air. No matter what, this cheer puts their mood up, changes nervousness into excitement, and the ladies are smiling when leaving the room after a minute checking they are okay.

Up on the stage an actress is emotionally finishing up thanking for her award and the two hosts of the evening are waiting at the end of the stage. The actress finishes and bows, being guided off the stage at the same time as the cameras focus on the hosts who start talking softly. Not seen in the camera, on the big stage there are five ladies walking up with a chair each, but the fans in the audience surely do notice because they start cheering right away that even the hosts have to smile.

“As you can hear, there is something thrilling about to happen,” the male host tells the TV viewers who can not see the big stage. “Oh, this kind of reaction can only mean one thing: The world’s most popular girl-group at the moment, the most honourable performance, we will now watch 5 Pieces!”

The camera zooms out at the big stage that shines up in small spotlights to shine up the ladies sitting on their chairs, starting to snap their fingers to the music at the same time as Carolina starts singing, wearing a black hat to her y curly red hair;

5 Pieces starts slowly moving after her opening, the music playing is suited and mysterious, y, and turning around Hannah can see South Korea’s top actors watch them with interest and the fans cheering. The ladies move around to the music on their chairs to take on different positions, and then starts snapping with their fingers to the snap in the music; then quickly strike a pose before continuing while lip-synching (Hannah was about to bring a hand to to start singing, only to realise she doesn’t hold a microphone in hand);

Maria starts singing right away, standing with one foot on her chair and holding on to the backrest that is facing the audience, her voice is amazing in the audio, perfectly fitting to the way her red lips move in that overly confident look and a lot of the stars in the audience gives out an impressed cheer that they probably did not expect they would give. Female dancers have joined the ladies on the stage.

Hannah throws her hair around while taking her hand up her s-line, happy that this outfit actually makes her body look really nice.

For the next part below, Hannah is wiggling her while Julia and Carolina are lip-synching, hitting the chair with her hand along to the rhythm along with the others, looking down for a second to smile before staring out the audience again. She is out of breath already, mostly because she is overwhelmed and nervous rather than tired because the song has barely even begun; and they aren’t singing live. She moves correctly, doing every single thing they have been taught, and she does it with confidence, knowing that as soon as she has gotten used to the stage (halfway through the song probably) she will stop breathing too heavy.

For the chorus the audience cheers, and Hannah isn’t sure if it is just the melody and song that makes them cheer or if they are actually slightly impressed to see 5 Pieces pull off this kind of concept. She hopes it is a good reason, and she hopes no one think they are flaunting or anything even if they touch their hair, take hands over their bodies and dances ily, the lyrics should go through correctly. y, Hannah can deal with that, but there is a difference between being y and posing for .

The song continues, the music is loud and 5 Pieces are dancing on the stage with a real choreography even if they add some slow hip movements and such. Personally, it isn’t embarrassing to perform the song. Hannah loves the lyrics and she pulls off a face and expression that delivers it – just as she knows her members and their dancers do – and even if the outfit is made of leather it is not revealing or ty. She knows she could easily be called a if she wore this outfit, if they didn’t put on the sheer blouse over, and she likes how her stylist is aware of how sensitive the Koreans are when it comes to clothes; of what is too much and what is too little. 5 Pieces’ outfits are exactly what their fans have complimented them about; y but respectable. Knowing that is how their fans describe the new concept, the ladies can with confidence pull off the performance wearing these clothes and covered in make-up, singing that this is not an outfit chosen for men to enjoy but for the ladies themselves to rule over.

During all too many parts of the song, Hannah reminds herself of who they are performing in front of; of all the big actors, actresses and directors who are sitting in front of them, and she tones down her excitement a little. The fans sitting at the front are mostly all of them holding cameras or cell phones with no shame, and once Carolina even blinks at one of the fans; receiving loud and loud of shouts in response.

[Girls Power] ends and Hannah bows right away with Julia holding on to her hand, and without even looking at the audience she turns around to hurry off the stage. This is, after all, not a music award show.

She has just followed the others off the stage when hearing Maria repeating asks their manager who has met up with them;

“How was it? How was it? How was it?”

“Take a deep breath first and walk it off,” Manager Lim answers with a chuckle, patting Maria on the back and nodding at Carolina who says they can really need to walk it off.

Walk off the excitement, because the adrenaline from the performance is like a shaking pill on their bodies that either makes them wants to scream and jump or completely exhausted that their legs can’t hold them up. Julia holds on to Hannah’s arm when wiggling back the stage, both of them lowering their heads at staff and some celebrity presenters – one person who makes them ladies stop their steps is the national MC, Yoo Jaesuk.

“5 Pieces rocked the stage as expected,” he congratulates them with a huge friendly smile and glances at their clothes with admiration, “You all look like grown-up ladies now.”

Yoo Jaesuk is the kind of MC who knows everyone. He is polite and friendly to whomever he meets, funny and generous, and though they barely meet more than a few rare times a year he is just as friendly as he always is to the ladies. You can’t help but to love him, he has that kind of charm.

“Thank you,” Carolina says with a bow to him, “You haven’t gotten our album, have you?”

“Oh, I can get your album?” Yoo Jaesuk looks excited and then laughs. “Don’t worry about it; I think I will buy it in the morning.”

“No, no, we can go to your room after the show and personally give it to you,” Maria politely says and is fast to add when seeing he will say something back; “We will gladly give you a copy of the album.”

He smiles warmly, reaching out his hand to shake Maria’s. “Thank you. And I want to take a picture with you too, if that is alright.”

Julia bows and Hannah follows before the two of them slinks by, not staying to hear the rest of the short conversation. Julia giggles, saying she needs to walk off the adrenaline from the performance, her legs are all shaky. Hannah nods in agreement, her legs are shaky too; it could be because of the 13cm high heels they are wearing. Happily they start walking through the corridors backstage, bowing at everyone they meet and suddenly screaming when seeing the suited dressed EXO members. Hannah can feel the adrenaline in her body, like alcohol making her loud and friendly, and she happily follows Julia to EXO’s room nearby to happily dance with them to random music that Chanyeol plays on his tablet.

“Your performance was so cool,” Chanyeol compliments them with big eyes.

“I liked your performance,” Hannah blinks cutely at him, laughing when Kai gives out an exaggerated laugh at her.

“5 Pieces is indeed a great senior of ours,” Sehun quietly says and nods his head pretending to be a good junior who only knows how to praise them. They all laugh at that. Everyone seems to be in a relatively good mood.

Just as Hannah is about to leave, wanting to get out of these high heels, Julia grabs her arm to take a picture since Sehun asked for it. Maria comes in just in time to be snapped in the picture, brightly giving a pose next to Hannah’s face.

“Yuck, I look like I just got off the stage,” Julia complains with a grimace seeing the picture and is fast to ask anyone if the room if she can borrow a napkin or something.

Hannah listens to Maria giving compliments to every boy of the group she sees and she has to ask them if her high heels look dangerous. Kai asks Hannah why Maria asks that, and Hannah just shrugs her shoulder. She glances up at him, finding herself standing there with arms crossing her chest and she must look like she is judging when looking up at Kai; and she starts laughing.

“What?” he looks confused and bends down to look in the mirror behind them, not finding anything strange with how he looks. “What is it?”

“You look like a crazy person with that hair,” Hannah giggles and hits him lightly on the arm. “Oh jeez, that’s funny.”

Kai laughs too at how easily she falls into laughter, and he laughs more when she hits him a few times as if wanting to get his attention; Hannah asks if she can get a picture together of how crazy they both looks – Hannah in her blue hair and Kai in his gray-white hair. Kai laughs so much at the suggestion. “We will look insane like this,” he says.

“But I don’t have my phone- Wait, I’ll go get it,” Hannah tells him and is just about to rush out the room in excitement when Kai laughs and says they can use his phone; he can send the picture to her.

“You’re so complicated at times, Hannah,” Kai teases and takes out his phone, within seconds raising it up to take a selfie with Hannah. “Should we look funny or cool?”

“Either way we will look funny,” Hannah giggles.

“Like this then?” Kai asks and pouts for his cell phone, starting to laugh right away because Hannah does it. they agrees to do that though; Kai looks adorable pouting with his lips with that crazy hair and handsome face, and Hannah just looks like a hot diva with red lips, cool eye makeup and baby blue pastel hair. It’s absolutely hilarious after taking three of the same pictures and settling with the last one, Hannah making sure he will send it to her before she has to leave with her members, clapping their hands together when leaving EXO to have a few minutes rest in the wait for Baeksang awards to end so they can start delivering their album to all the people they haven’t handed it over to yet.

For an hour they walk around, wearing slippers 5 Pieces present their album to most of the celebrities backstage and takes a picture with most of them as well as a proof it was given personally. Jaesuk looks super happy when the ladies make their appearance and he says he could hear their greeting from a distance, saying they sound just as cute and polite as they did five years ago and he starts looking through the album happily, saying ‘ooh’ and ‘wow’ and ‘aah’ and says a few jokes but is honestly impressed with the album and asking about the concept. Like said; you can’t help but to love this man, who is not just funny but also caring.

The next day 5 Pieces are filming the reality-show Good Sister; they will film for 48 hours but it will be crazy with the comeback schedule starting at midnight to Thursday when 5 Pieces will begin pre-recordings and whatnot, so before that they plan on having fun. After the show yesterday, 5 Pieces went to the practice-room and spent some hours there before they went home to sleep, and now the ladies are getting ready to leave the apartment, making sure the main star of the show – Kyung Ho – is packed and ready when he, Maria, Carolina and Maria all head out to play.

“Have fun, children!” Hannah calls from the hall to the door.

Hannah had told Kyung Ho she can’t go play with them due to a different schedule but had told him to have a lot of fun with the other members and watch over them carefully and she excitedly waves goodbye to them, but as soon as the door closes and the hall is quiet she shoots through the apartment to the kitchen where Julia is drinking her coffee. Julia looks to have no care in the world of what Hannah is up to while the youngest takes out a notebook and starts looking through the kitchen to write down what is missing.

“When are we leaving?” Hannah asks Julia, “I think I have written down everything…”

“I’m done in five,” Julia answers and lightly finishes her cup before standing up, giving Hannah a glance as if asking if that is okay and Hannah gives a nod, starting to check her list another time. “It’s hot outside, isn’t it? What are you taking; sunglasses?”

“A cap,” Hannah answers.

“Because of your hair,” Julia chuckles and laughs when Hannah gives a grimace. Hannah has never worn her hair up or hidden it under a cap this much before, but she finds it awkward to walk around daily with blue hair.

“I’m completely fine working with it, but to go to the market like this? It’s embarrassing,” Hannah laughs.

For the broadcast, they will pause her words and write questioningly ‘market?’ because Hannah and Julia both said to Kyung Ho they will work, and the broadcast will show Hannah sitting down for her personal interview, smiling happily when saying it is Kyung Ho’s birthday coming up, and they want to throw a small party for him.

Hannah is wearing a white diamond-print t-shirt with ¾-sleeves and white shorts (all sponsored), wearing bracelets on both wrists that are white, black or silver, and when leaving the apartment she adds a black cap (her own) and white sneakers (sponsored). Julia is wearing a sleeveless patterned jumpsuit with the top black and the lower part patterned, wearing white sunglasses, a watch on her wrist and black flip-flops, all sponsored beside from the black fedora hat that she is borrowing from Hannah who seems to be the only member owning a fedora hat. She wears the hat a little at the back, with style to her short cut hair. They both look stylish getting inside the white Audi Q7; Julia coolly behind the steering wheel and Hannah calmly on the passenger seat, with a big black wallet and Samsung cell phone at hand. Glancing up, Hannah leans back in her seat a little taken back by the small cameras put up in the car to film them.

It takes a few moments before they take off as Julia needs to control her seat and mirrors and all that, and also to put in the CD that she has to show to the camera before them.

“5 Pieces’ newest,” she announces when showing it, and they drive off to the first song on the list – [Girls Power].

As soon as the singing begins, Hannah and Julia forget they are being filmed and just starts singing along to their own song. It’s hilarious even to them and Hannah can’t stop laughing when realising they are actually singing out loudly in the car to their own album songs. Mentioning that, Julia focuses more on driving and just nods her head along to the up-beat track, but as soon as the chorus begins the two girls find themselves singing anew.

“Ah, we did great with this song,” Julia compliments when the song ends, and she smiles as Hannah laughs. “If the one driving can’t stop singing, it is a good song.”

“Hm…” Hannah nods, smiling out the window as the second song begins to play.

The two of them stay cheerful going to the market listening to their new album, singing along at times and Hannah moves her arms like she is obsessed only one time. Hannah is pretty sure they would be doing the same thing if the cameras weren’t there, and she hope the producers won’t make them look insane if they air any of this.

Arriving at the supermarket Hannah gets a shopping cart that she holds on to tightly with Julia walking next to her, with a single hand Julia holds the shopping cart too and looks through Hannah’s shopping list before starting to find what they need. The camera crew has put a camera in the cart, so while pulling the cart both Hannah and Julia crowds by leaning over it to make grimaces at the camera.

“Don’t we look like a couple?” Julia asks and hugs Hannah’s arm for the camera in the cart to see. “A weird couple…”

From Hannah’s blue hair to Julia’s unique style, Hannah seems to only look weird these days. The youngest smiles and looks somewhere else, in search for groceries and ingredients.

Not having a clue of its name in Korean, Hannah asks Julia in Swedish where the cold section is – for milk, eggs and such – and Julia glances around a bit before starting to make their way, marching down the hallways of groceries.

They do look like a couple, and Hannah keeps smiling when they talk about which brand is better and so on, grocery shopping together. Julia links arm with Hannah from time to time when looking for something or they are just talking, in fact; anything they do make them look like a couple, especially on the show because fans always sees the two of them together as a “sign” of that they are a couple. Hannah might be in a public relationship with Jonghyun, but fans are still having fun pairing Hannah and Julia together about everything. The ladies like that, because that means fans’ hearts haven’t changed even if Hannah is in a real relationship.

“Ha, Emelia sent me a picture,” Hannah giggles and shows her phone to Julia, “They are having fun.”

The other members have taken Kyung Ho to Coex Aquarium, to enjoy some time with the beauty of fishes and Hannah is certain the camera crew will have a lot to film with reactions and conversations. Maria will probably freak out a lot, more sensitive than you can guess.

Hannah and Julia find so many things at the supermarket. A bunch of things for a birthday party with balloons and decorations, and funny decorations for a cake, they buy strawberries and groceries both for their ingredients and just random things they find.

When finally being done, they take their grocery bags and head to the car, making one stop before going back to the apartment, and now they are not coming back alone; favourite stylist An Mi Young.

“So what is Julia and I supposed to do?” Mi Young asks when putting the bags on the kitchen table, helping out with the puppies running around them.

“Help me…” Hannah answers with a pout, already busy unpacking the bags of groceries.

“We’re making the cake,” Julia answers when coming inside the kitchen with the final bag, looking at their stylist. “Hannah will do the rest.”

“Ya…” Hannah whines and their stylist laughs. “Unnie, have you made a cake before?”

“Me? I made one for my father’s birthday once,” Mi Young answers, “it was a long time ago though.”

“I have made cake before,” Julia says. “Strawberry cake like this one we’re doing.”

“That’s why I asked her to help,” Hannah tells Mi Young with a smile, all three of them are busy unpacking while talking, preparing to spend some time baking.

Hannah is making her infamous cupcakes for Kyung Ho’s birthday while Mi Young is there to keep them company and help Julia to make the strawberry birthday cake, and while they all are busy with the baking they are also preparing something light to eat. Mi Young’s job ends up being to prepare the light food, to personally feed the two ladies who are baking and she is doing some work too. Mi Young is in charge of 5 Pieces’ hair, and for this comeback especially it is a lot of focus on hair colours, meaning she has brought samples of colours and different hairstyles for the ladies during their performances, mostly just sorting things out to be organized for tomorrow’s comeback and the rest of the weekend.

It doesn’t take long until Mi Young is sitting by the kitchen table, blowing balloons and talking about work. Hannah does the dishes when waiting for the cupcakes in the oven to be done and Julia answers a call from their clothing stylist Yong Hyun – somehow, they do have a different schedule after all, since they keep working while baking.

Julia’s cake is simple to make. She mixes whipped cream and smashed strawberries to put in the layers of cake and then covers the sides and the top of the cake with creamy white cream, she puts sliced strawberries around on the cake’s sides and with the icing the three girls gather around the cupcakes to try it out before writing on the strawberry cake carefully. Though Hannah tells Mi Young to write, Hannah ends up writing on the cake. HAPPY BIRHTDAY KYUNG HO and they add the decorations they had found at the supermarket, the number 10 candles for example and all three of them decorate the cupcakes differently with icing, left-over cream, left-over strawberries (unless they eat them up), and puts on more decorations that they found, and like a finish they add some sprinkles.

Time have flown by in the kitchen, bringing panic to them all when Emelia gives a call to ask how’s it going and say they are almost back home. Three hours has already passed.

In panic, they are gathering things to put in the fridge – trying to hide it behind milk and juices and eggs – and everything else like balloons and decorations and everything else thrown inside one of the offices, knowing that is a place Kyung Ho will not walk inside. Everything is hidden and they are in a rush to clean up in the kitchen too, but before they are done the others return.

“Go, go, go, we’ll finish up here,” Mi Young pushes Hannah out of the kitchen that still leaks too much information for what they have been up to. The door to the balcony is wide open as it has been since they started baking to not have the apartment give them away with the scent of baking.

“Hi!” Hannah brightly rushes inside the hall. “Kyung ho, do you want to take them out for a bit?”

She motions for the two puppies who brightly are at the centre greeting everyone back and the door hasn’t even been closed yet before they head out on a walk with the two dogs. Hannah doesn’t have to ask questions about the day because Kyung Ho is wildly telling her of all the fun they had at the aquarium, trying to show her pictures too but the sun is bright so they wait until they get back.

Meanwhile, the others finish cleaning up in the kitchen and show off all the delicious things they have made for tomorrow.

“Nuna, what are we going to do now?” Kyung Ho asks when they are back in the apartment.

“We are going to give the puppies a bath. Are you ready for that?” Hannah asks him with a smile.

Julia and Kyung Ho ends up being in charge of bathing the two pets, Hannah being there the whole time but mostly just being the assistant as she lets Kyung Ho do a lot of things as he seems to have a lot of fun. Those who are not bathing the pets are making food.

Before they know it, it is time to leave. They pack their bags and head out; a van picks them up this time for them all to head to the agency. 5 Pieces will spend the evening practicing, everyone in their crew is gathering in the practice-room for a final practice before the comeback weekend. The dancers, the band and the teachers are all there with 5 Pieces, to warm up and go through things and to practice. Meantime, Kyung Ho gets to watch the practice for some time until Hannah takes him to a room nearby where he can do some homework and rest.

The others return to practice, the music is loud; they are singing live with the band and dancing to the two songs they will perform, goes through their own practice videos and feeling the need to practice endlessly all night as there will be no turning back in the morning.

“Final practice, everyone!” Hannah claps her hands to stay cheerful in the serious practice-environment and she has some of the others applauding in agreement when taking positions to start the song over again.

Hannah has her eyes on the clock whenever she wakes up from the practice daze, and at each break they have she goes to check in on Kyung Ho. A few times she stays with him until someone comes to get her, and after ten in the evening he has fallen asleep in the sofa in the room he is in, so Hannah just peeks inside when dropping by to see if he is still sleeping.

Sweaty and nervous they are all continuing with their practice, the night goes by too fast.

Before they know it the practice ends and Hannah leaves the room first to go get Kyung Ho, a camera-man follows her. In the room, Kyung Ho is in deep sleep – no wonder as it is in the middle of the night. Hannah packs his bag quietly, in a low voice asking the camera-man if she should wake him up or not, but it’s not like she can leave him here to sleep. With Carolina showing up by the door, Hannah puts on Kyung Ho’s backpack and in the slowest way she carefully starts picking Kyung Ho up, deciding to carry him to the van. She carefully sits him up, making sure his head doesn’t fall off, and carefully she places his arms around her neck, move his legs around her waist and holds on to him like a baby when standing up.

“Woah, careful,” even the camera-man says with a hand held out.

“I’m always careful,” Hannah tiredly smiles at him, more tired from practice than carrying Kyung Ho. She whispers when motioning for them to leave, and she is happy that even when being asleep he manages to keep his legs around her, though his arms are lazily resting on her shoulders, it’s easier for her to hold his body from falling.

It’s amazing how he doesn’t wake up when they go to the van, and he just blinks when they get him in the van before he falls back asleep. The tough part is when they arrive at the apartment and Hannah is getting help to carry him again when he wakes up in a slumber, only awake to wrap his limbs around Hannah and when putting his head on her shoulder he seems to be falling back asleep.

“Is it okay if I am sleeping?” he slumbers tiredly to her.

Hannah doesn’t even answer, all she does is laughing silently because he keeps mumbling that he might’ve finished his homework and that his hands still smells like dog shampoo. He is deeply sleeping when they reach the bedroom though, and Hannah carefully puts him down with Emelia’s help.

5 Pieces haven’t come home to sleep; they shower and wash up before they have to leave again. Hannah writes a note to Kyung Ho that she places on his bedside table, explaining that he was sleeping so she put him to bed, that the ladies have gone to their pre-recording and that Manager Kim is in the apartment to give him a ride to school and she wishes him a good sleep and to do well in school.

It is no rest the night for a comeback. The night has been spent practicing, and it is not even three in the morning when 5 Pieces are at the hair saloon. Carolina will re-fresh her deep red hair, Hannah will go pastel pink instead of blue, Emelia re-freshens her honey brown colour, Julia re-freshens her dark blue short hair and they all just get a light haircut to keep it fresh. At the saloon the ladies close their eyes for as much as possible, after six years knowing that they won’t get much sleep for some days now. Beside from hair, they need to get their nails done and the make-up before being able to head to M Countdown’s pre-recording for their absolutely first comeback performance. They can’t help but to get a little shaky thinking of the day that has only started, of their comeback day
