A Man in love.
_____’s POV
Monday morning.
I’ve always hated Mondays.
But this time I don’t, and no reasons I know.
I arrived at school so happy.
Kyuhyun was there to greet me a GOOD MORNING.
“Hi Kyuhyun, how’s your weekend?” I asked.
“Great, what about you?” he asked.
“Awesome.” I answered as I bit my lip.
I started skipping and humming.
“Why so happy?” he asked.
“I wish you knew.” I answered.
I quickly hugged Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun’s POV
She is so happy. I’ve never seen anyone smile like this before.
Then, she hugged me.
I froze.
No one hugged me like that before.
I looked at her eyes.
It’s sparkling.
I think I could melt by just looking at it.
Then she let go.
I smiled at her.
She continued to skip and hum.
I thought. “So sweet.”
“I’ve always liked her since the beginning. When she asked me to be her partner, I thought she’s kind. No ones ever approached me before like she did. Her smile makes my day bright. I wish I could tell her how I feel but I’m too embarrassed. I don’t think she will accept me. And Donghae is always around. Why?”
3rd POV
Kyuhyun and ____ walked together.
At class Kyuhyun and _____ chatted. Donghae walked in and waved at them.
_____ waved and smiled at Donghae. ____ was busy looking at Donghae.
“_____!” Kyuhyun said as he tapped ____’s shoulders.
“What?’ _____ asked.
“So, about the project on the Korean War.” Kyuhyun said. “I think we should meet up and discuss it?”
“It’s due next week, we still have 7 days.” ____ said.
“But, we haven’t started yet.” Kyuhyun said.
“Don’t worry, you’re smart!” ____ said.
Kyuhyun smile became a slight frown.
“I’m just thinking of meeting up and discussing it.” Kyuhyun said.
“We will but not this week yet, I’m going to the dance trials.” ____ said.
“Sure thing.” Kyuhyun said.
After class, the dance trials are on.
“Sunny!” ____ yelled.
“You’re here!” Sunny yelled.
“Yes, I thought it’ll be fun!” ____ said.
“It will.” Sunny said.
They went in the room.
The dance teacher Miss Rica entered.
“Okay, to those 4 people trying out for the dance committee please line up here.” Rica said.
I’ll call your name out and please try your best.
“Tiffany!” Rica yelled.
A small petite girl came in front and danced.
She isn’t the best dancer but she did her best to dance to Kara’s MR.
Everyone applauded.
Meanwhile Donghae was walking in the performing arts to talk to a teacher when he saw a room full of people. It was the dancing theatre
He took a peek and saw _____.
He hid on the doors and watched secretly.
______’s POV
2 dancers performed and did well. I was nervous because I’m next. The 2 previous dancers did so well, I don’t know If I can do good.
“_____?’ Rica yelled. “You’re up, do your best!”
I stepped forward. I’m nervous it feels like judgement day or something.
I took a deep breath, and the music started.
Boom, Boom – Super Junior
I was nervous when I started dancing.
When the chorus came in, I was feeling more confident. It felt like no ones around and just me.
I feel lots of energy and passion.
As the beat go my feet go.
I saw everyone’s faces. They look impressed.
“I still got it!” I thought. “I thought I lost my dancing skills when I got that tragic accident.”
When I was a kid, I do dancing. I was the best one there, but as I was performing my best I got into an accident. I fell down the stage. I broke my leg and my right arm. I couldn’t move for weeks.
I really thought my chance of dancing is all gone.
As the music finished I strike the last pose.
Everyone applauded. Sunny’s face couldn’t be happier. She went and hugged me.
“You did it!” Sunny exclaimed. “You’re in!”
“What?” I asked. “She didn’t even tell us who got in.”
“Hello?” Sunny said. “If you watched your performance, you’ll know for sure.”
“Thanks” I cheered.
“Don’t worry.” Sunny said. “OMO, your so good why did you stop dancing since?”
“I got into an accident.” I explained as we walked away.
3rd POV
When ____ finished dancing Donghae quickly ran away with a big smile on his face.
Rica came in front.
“Okay, my decisions for today were easy.” Rica said. “KIM SOOHYE, HAN YURA and KIM _____.”
____ was happy.
“Tiffany thanks but try again next time?” Rica said as he tapped Tiffany’s shoulder.
At lunch.
“Kyuhyun-ah! Why so quite?” ____ asked.
“Nothing, I’m just hungry!” Kyuhyun said.
“Guess what?” ____ asked.
“Yes?” Kyuhyun said.
“I got in the dance committee!” ____ exclaimed.
“She’s amazing!” Sunny said.
“That’s great!” Kyuhyun exclaimed.
There was a big smile on ______’s face.
Kyuhyun’s POV
There it is again. That smile so bright even when it’s night it feels like a bright day.
I wish I could see her dance I know she’ll be great.
She’s amazing.
“Isn’t it great, she does dance I do music.” I thought. “It’s like a perfect match.”
I sighed.
I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back. I smiled even more bigly.
I’d do anything for her to know I like her. But how?
I don’t have the guts to say “I like you!”
WHAT? DID I JUST SAID THAT AT LOUD?
“What do you like?” ____ asked.
“Err” I stuttered. “This bread?”
“Oh, okay.” _____ said as she continued talking to Sunny.
“Kyuhyun you idiot!” I thought. “Just eat your bread and shut up!”
“Kyuhyun-Ah!” ____ yelled. “Let’s meet up after school for the project?”
“Great!” I smiled.
Donghae’s POV
“Wow! She’s amazing.” I thought. “She’s good at dancing.”
I looked at her from afar.
She’s smiling.
I looked more.
Then she looked my direction. I looked away.
“Donghae-ah!” Leeteuk yelled. “Who you looking at?”
“Who else?” Sungmin said.
“Who?” Leeteuk innocently asked.
Sungmin sighed.
“_____!” Yesung yelled.
I looked at Yesung.
“What about her?” I yelled.
Eunhyuk and Yesung busted out laughing!
Leeteuk did laughed hysterically.
“Aish, Donghae what’s up with you?” Sungmin asked.
“Do you think I still can dance?” I asked.
“What?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Do you think I could still dance?” I asked once again.
“Sure, we all dance.” Leeteuk said.
“But I’m better than all of you!” Eunhyuk said. “Especially you Yesung, you dance but dance weird.”
Yesung shot Eunhyuk a stare.
I sighed.
“Why ask all of the sudden?” Sungmin asked.
“Thinking of joining the dance committee?” Leeteuk laughed.
I looked at Leeteuk. I nodded.
“You know I’m joking right?” Leeteuk giggled. “I always joke around, right?”
“Yes, but your jokes always end up in reality!” Eunhyuk seriously said.
“Dance committee?” Donghae asked himself.
3rd POV
The bell rang and everyone went to their class. ____ was walking in the hallway with pile of books in her hands she couldn’t see where she’s going.
Suddenly she bumped into something. The wall.
“Aish!” she yelled.
Meanwhile Donghae was walking the same way. He saw ____, he thought he’d help.
“Help?” Donghae offered.
“Ah, KAMSA HAMNIDA.” _____ said.
“Why so many books?” Donghae asked.
“The teacher asked a favour.” ____ replied,
“Ah,” Donghae said as he picked up the last book. “Let me help!
Donghae took half of the books from _____.
“Which way?” Donghae asked.
“Room 32.” ____ said.
____”s POV
He took half of the books from me. I could clearly see the way.
He is so nice.
We walked together and talked about things.
He just talked all the way through. I was just listening.
“Here it is, room 32.” I said.
He opened the door with his foot.
“Ladies first.” He said.
“So sweet” I thought as I smiled away.
The door closed.
“So where to we put it?” Donghae asked.
“Well, Mr. Lee said in the red shelf near the window.”
“Here!” Donghae exclaimed.
They put the books on the shelf.
“Hey, thanks for helping out.” I said.
“Don’t worry about it.” Donghae said.
They headed for the door.
Donghae led the way by opening the door for me.
“He is such a gentleman.” I thought.
But as I looked at Donghae’s face it was a surprise expression.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Is this a teacher storage room?” Donghae asked.
“Yes, why?” I said.
“Meaning you can only get out if you have a teacher key?” Donghae asked.
“Yes!” I replied.
“Where’s the key?” he asked.
“Oh, it’s right here hanging in my hand.” I said as I looked at my hand.
There were no keys there.
“Where is it?” Donghae asked.
“It must’ve fallen when I hit the wall!” I explained. “OH, I’m so sorry!”
“Aish, it’s okay.” Donghae said. “Let’s just wait for a teacher to go here, there’s only 10 minutes when the school finishes.”
“Right!” I agreed.
10 minutes with him, alone?
Is this faith?
Is this my chance?
I stepped forward to Donghae.
But Donghae walked away and took interest on a book.
I frowned.
Maybe it’s not my chance.
3rd POV
10 minutes had passed and they could hear the bell.
Kyuhyun went outside in front of the gates to wait for _____ for their meeting.
Kyuhyun had been waiting for 10 minutes, 15, 20 and 30….
Still no sight of _____
“Where is she?” Kyuhyun asked.
“Aish, its been 30 minutes already!” ____ yelled.
Suddenly they hear keys.
The door opened and it was teacher Lee.
“Mr. Lee!” ____ yelled.
“What’s going on?” Lee yelled.
“Thank goodness!” ____ cried.
“What did you do?” Lee yelled at Donghae?
“Nothing!” Donghae said.
“I could report you to the office about this!” Lee said.
“What?” ____ said. “No, we were stuck because I lost the keys to this room!”
Donghae giggled.
“Mianhe, you guys go now!” Lee said. “It’s been 30 minutes since the bell.”
Donghae and ____ left.
“I thought that kid was-“ Lee said. “Aish!”
Kyuhyun went outside school he has been waiting for ____ for 30 minutes now.
“Unbelievable!” Kyuhyun said.
“She could’ve told me she’s not meeting up!” Kyuhyun said as he walked off
But he saw ____ and Donghae walking together, laughing together.
“What? Why is he with her?” Kyuhyun asked.
“She got me all waiting here out cold?” Kyuhyun said. “And she’s just with Donghae?”
Kyuhyun’s POV
When I saw _____ with Donghae. I frowned.
Because she said we’ll meet but she didn’t met up with me and now I see her with Donghae.
I looked at them laughing with each other.
I stared at them but suddenly I feel like my eyes are burning.
Suddenly I feel something big up my eyes.
A tear fell down.
“Why am I crying?” I asked myself.
