_____’s POV
It’s already been a whole week since my transition to KHJ High School. It all went well. I fortunately made some new friends.
It was Sunday Morning. I get up and get breakfast. It was the same usual day.
But I got a call.
It was Sunny.
· Ring
“YOBESEYO?” I greeted. “Sunny-ah!”
“Good morning Unni, I was wondering if you have plans for today?” Sunny asked.
“No, I don’t think I do.” I replied.
“Great, so I think you’d come to the mall with me?” Sunny asked.
“I guess so.” I answered. “What for?”
“I don’t know, I thought we’d just hang out!” Sunny said. “I’ll meet you at the front of the mall near school?”
“Okay, at the front okay?” I said as I hanged up.
This is my first day out with a friend since my transition. Since then I’ve never heard from my classmates from my old school.
I went up to my room to get ready when my mom yelled for me.
“______!” mom yelled.
“Yes, I’m coming” I said as I head to the kitchen.
She was there all happy.
“What’s going on?” I smiled.
“You remember Hara?” mom asked. “My friend from high school?”
“Yes, why?” I asked.
“She is having a business thing here in Seoul and she’s going to drop by.” She said.
“That’s great!” I said.
“You remember your Dara unni and Thunder?” mom asked.
“Dara unni and Thunder?” I cried. “OMO, I missed them!”
“Yes, they are visiting here in the next 2 weeks or so!” mom said.
“I’ve heard they lived here before!” I asked.
“They did, I don’t know why they moved to Japan.” Mom replied.
“Anyways, mom I’ll be at the mall with my friend.” I said as I stepped away.
“Oh, I’m glad your making a friend honey!” mom said.
“Yeah, me too.” I said as I ran upstairs.
Meanwhile…
Donghae’s POV
“What a boring weekend!” I exclaimed.
“We’d be at the mall if you need me!” Eunhyuk yelled as he went for the door. “Come on Leeteuk!”
“I’ll come!” Yesung and Sungmin said.
“What are you going to do there?” I asked.
“We’ll grab a bite or something.” Eunhyuk explained.
“Hold on, I’ll come!” Donghae yelled. “Got nothing to do.”
“Alright, let’s go!” Leeteuk said.
3rd POV
After several minutes…
_____ is waiting in front of the mall. Suddenly she saw a car it looked familiar. She looked more and she saw Donghae getting out.
She tried to hide near the gates and texted Sunny where she at.
Sunny replied.
“I’m almost there, I just forgot something.” Sunny said.
_____’s POV
“Why is she taking so long?” I asked myself. “She’s the one invited me to come!”
Donghae and his friends are getting closer at the mall gate.
I hid.
Why am I hiding, why do I feel shy when he’s around?
My whole body is shaking when he goes near me.
He is getting closer.
Suddenly I saw Sunny. She yelled.
“_____!” Sunny yelled.
Donghae heard my name and looked around. He spotted Sunny running towards me.
“Shoot!” I thought.
I grabbed Sunny’s hand and pulled her inside the mall.
Donghae’s POV
“Isn’t that _____?” I asked myself.
“Hey isn’t that _____ and Kyuhyun’s sister?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Yes, I think so” Yesung said.
“Why is she running?” I thought. “Did she see us?”
“Man, I’m hungry let’s eat lunch!” Leeteuk cried.
“I want KIMBAP!” Sungmin yelled.
“Shut up you baby!” Eunhyuk said.
“I wonder what she’s doing here?” I thought.
3rd POV
Sunny and _____ sat and had lunch in a restaurant.
When Sunny was eating she saw Donghae.
“Hey isn’t that Donghae?” Sunny asked.
“What?” ____ asked. “I don’t know.”
“Yes, and he’s with his friends.” Sunny said as she took a sip on her drink.
“Don’t look” _____ yelled. “They might come here!”
“So, what if they did?” Sunny asked.
“Just don’t!” _____ exclaimed.
“Look, it’s them eating at that restaurant.” Sungmin said.
“Hey, do you want to eat there?” Yesung suggested.
“Why should we?” Sungmin asked.
“I don’t know.” Yesung said innocently.
“I’m hungry!” Leeteuk said. “Let’s eat wherever!”
“Then let’s eat there.” Donghae said as he stepped forward to the restaurant.
“Why are they coming near?” ____ asked.
“Maybe they are eating here.” Sunny said.
_____ looked worried.
“We should go now.” _____ suggested.
“Why, I haven’t finished yet!” Sunny cried. “Why are you so sensitive when he’s around?”
What, me?” _____ stuttered.
Sunny shot _____ a look.
“Why you looking at me like that?” I asked.
“You like him, don’t you?” Sunny giggled.
“What, you’re talking nonsense!” ____ said.
“It’s so obvious!” Sunny said. “You have feelings for him!”
“Are you sick or something?” _____ asked.
Donghae and his friends walked to them.
“Hi guys, good to see you here!” Donghae exclaimed.
“Hi” Sunny exclaimed.
_____ just waved.
“So it’s just you two” Donghae asked.
“Yes, why?” Sunny asked.
“Nothing, we just got here and saw you guys, we thought we’d say hi,” Donghae said.
“We did?” Eunhyuk asked.
“I thought were here to eat?” Yesung asked as he put his hands on his pockets.
“We are eating here!” Donghae said.
“I’m hungry, I’m hungry!” Leeteuk cried.
“We’ll find a table!” Sungmin yelled.
A staff member walked to them.
“Good day, is there a problem?” the staff asked.
“No, were just finding a table.” Sungmin replied.
“Are you all together?” the staff asked.
“We are” Eunhyuk said pointing to the guys.
But the staff member thought they’re with Sunny and ______.
“I’ll get the tables.” The staff said as she walked away.
“She’ll get it?” Yesung asked.
Not so long ago, the staff members placed the additional tables and chairs on Sunny and _____ tables.
“Why are they putting more tables on our table?” _____ asked.
“I don’t know.” Sunny replied.
“I think she didn’t get it right.” Yesung said.
“She thought we are with them!” Leeteuk said.
“There you go, I’ll get the menu.” The staff said.
“You got it wrong.” Sungmin said.
“Sorry?” the staff said.
“We are not with them.” Yesung said,
“My apologies, I’ll just take the tables away.” The staff said.
“No, it’s okay.” Donghae said.
All of them were in a small shock.
“I don’t think they mind sitting with us?” Donghae asked as he faced Sunny and _____.
“Not a problem for me.” Sunny cheered.
“Er, it’s okay…” ____ stuttered.
“See?” Donghae said. “We’ll stay here.”
Donghae sat down next to ______.
Eunhyuk, Sungmin, Yesung and Leeteuk sat in front of them.
_____’s POV
“Why is he seating next to me?” I asked myself.
I feel cold all the sudden.
My body is shaking.
I looked at Sunny. She smiled at me.
I looked at Donghae. He smiled at me.
“You like him, don’t you?”
“You like him, don’t you?”
Sunny’s voice is all over my head.
“Do I?” I asked myself. “Do I have feelings for him?”
I looked at him once more. This time is different. It feels like everything stopped and it was just him and me.
I looked away.
I just continued eating and didn’t say a thing.
3rd POV
“I’m so full!” Leeteuk yelled.
“Me too!” Sungmin said. “I’ve never had that much KIMBAP”
“Where to go now?” Yesung said.
“What about you guys?” Donghae asked.
“Well, I have to go.” Sunny said. “I don’t know about ____.”
“If you’re going, I’ll go I don’t want to be alone.” ____ said to Sunny.
“You’re not going to be alone.” Donghae said. “We’ll be here.”
Eunhyuk and Sungmin giggled at the back.
“No I…” _____ stuttered once again. “It’s okay, I’m getting picked up anyways.”
“No _____, Donghae insist you to stay.” Yesung playfully said.
Sungmin laughed.
“I didn’t mean it that way!” Donghae said. “I’m just saying if she’s going to be alone, we’ll be here.”
“Lame!” Eunhyuk whispered.
“I heard that.” Donghae said.
“Don’t worry, me and Sunny shall go now.” _____ said. “See you next time!”
_____ and Sunny bowed and smiled.
“Bye!” Sunny cheered.
_____ and Sunny left.
“What’s up with you guys?” Donghae asked.
“What?” Eunhyuk asked.
“What’s up with Donghae insist?” Donghae asked.
Leeteuk laughed.
“Don’t laugh like that Leeteuk, it’s annoying!” Donghae said.
“Hey I’m older than you, shouldn’t be talking like that to me!” Leeteuk yelled.
“Whatever” Donghae yelled.
“You like her!” Sungmin said.
“Yes” Yesung agreed.
“I do not.” Donghae replied coolly.
“Why did you sit next to her?” Leeteuk asked.
“Why did we eat there?” Yesung asked.
“Aish, I wanted to be a nice friend.” Donghae said.
“You guys are friends?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Well, I want to be different!” Donghae said.
“How different?” Leeteuk asked.
“You know what I mean!” Donghae yelled as he walked off.
‘Gosh, it’s been a year already!” Eunhyuk said. “How did that connect to _____?”
“Maybe he see her in _____?” Sungmin said.
“She doesn’t look like her!” Leeteuk said.
“I didn’t mean physically!” Sungmin yelled.
“Oh, then what?” Leeteuk asked innocently.
“Maybe the way they act or something, identical?” Sungmin suggested.
“If she didn’t reject him, he wouldn’t be all angry and be mean to everyone!” Eunhyuk said.
“Yeah, but now he wanted to change!” Yesung said. “He wants to be nice now?”
“Because he sees her in _____?” Eunhyuk asked.
“This all messed up!” Sungmin said.
“So Donghae wanted to be nice now because he sees her in ____?” Leeteuk asked. “His life is a drama!”
“Tell me about it!” Eunhyuk said as they followed Donghae.

“When he said that it feels like my heart stopped.”
“Could he possibly like me?”
“Because if that’s the case, then I might have feelings for him too.”
I got home.
I lay down my bed and embraced my pillow hard. I can feel my heart beating. It’s beating fast.
“I get it.” I said. “He likes me.”
I smiled.
“He sat next to me.” I thought. “He convinced his friends to eat with us?”
“I guess its all clear to me now.” I said. “He likes me!”
I giggled.
“And I might feel the same way.”
Donghae’s POV
“_____, reminds me of her.” I thought. “I don’t know.”
I lay in my bed. I was thinking too hard.
“She’s kinda cute!” I thought.
“WHAT? WHAT? WHAT AM I SAYING?”
I smiled.
I tried to stop it.
But all I can do is smile.
“Why do I think of her when I see _____?”
