J-Hope nodded his head throughout the whole time Melanie was talking. There was nothing he could say but listen. He didn't think the situation was going to be this serious. Well, serious but not this serious.

"Wow."

He finally uttered out when Aurora finished and she chuckled at him. His shocked expression said it all. She had told him most of what she knew about the situation but left out the incident that happened almost three years ago and Ji Ae's condition, how serious it was. Melanie thought it'd be better if Jin was to tell them. It wasn't her place to do so.

"Is that all?" he asked her and she sheepishly smiled and shook her head.

"I thought you said you'd tell me everything?"

He questioned and looked at her suspiciously. She rolled her eyes at him.

"No. There's more to it. But, I thought it'd be better if Jin Oppa told you guys, you know. After all, it is his family that we're talking about here," she reasoned.

Ho Seok smiled at her.

"You're right," he agreed.

If there's one thing he liked, it was how she was always thoughtful of others, full of honesty and always caring. The way her mind worked and processed was another plus. He couldn't help but be charmed by her.

Eunjoo looked down at her phone and dialed his number. She wanted to see him. Just the thought of not seeing and being around him made her upset even more.

The call went to voicemail and she felt everything crumbling down. Tears streamed down her face. Angry, she threw the phone on the ground.

"How dare he ignore me," she hissed under her breath and pulled at her hair.

The girl popped into her head and that only angered Eunjoo even more. She wanted to scream but kept it inside and snatched her phone from the ground before storming off.

Something needs to be done with her.

Melanie felt her cheeks getting warmer being under his gaze. It was captivating her but she looked away and grabbed her glass. She gulped down the water and fanned herself.

"You just need his trust. Jin Oppa needs to know you guys are all in no matter what," she told him and he nods.

His eyes weren't staring at her anymore and she thanked God for it. She swallowed the last of the water down to cool her off more.

"You already know we are. We stick together no matter what," he said and looked around her house before asking, "So, you live alone now? It's best not to dwell into serious matters. It can be stressful."

He got a pretty good reason, she thought. Aurora couldn't help but laugh out loud at him as she nods her head, agreeing to it.

"Right."

She grabbed their glass cups and disappeared into the kitchen. Soon the sink water was on and he could hear the dishes clinking and clattering.

"For now, yes, but not for long because my Aunt is helping out a friend of hers and her son. She welcomed him to live with me for a short period of time," she told him over the sound of dishes she was making.

"What? Her 'son'?" he practically yelled from behind.

Startled, she turned around and the glass in her hand slipped out. She let out a shriek and J-Hope quickly caught it with his fast reflexes. When he looked up, her eyes were already on him. They were big and she was frozen in place.

Too close, her mind screamed at her.

Ho Seok stood up with a smirk on his face.

"Are you okay?" he asked her and she snapped out of her zone.

Glaring at him, she answered, "Yeah...I'm fine. Just don't ever do that again," before continuing with the dishes.

He was laughing beside her, leaning on the counter with a mocking look.

"I don't know, Aurora. I'm afraid I can't promise you that," he said and she scoffed, grabbing a hand full of bubbles and wiped it on his cheeks.

He stared at her in disbelief.

"Yah!"

She stuck out her tongue and he splashed water at her. Melanie let out a squeal of surprise and tried to splash him back but he was already gone.

His laughter from the living room made her pout and he peeked from the corner.

"Jung Ho Seok!"

She called his name and he came out. He was smiling and his small dimples could be seen. She thought he looked adorable.

"Can't catch me," he stood with his arms crossed and she scowled at him.

"We'll see," she says and started sprinting towards him.

It was another day of school but the members weren't with him. Ever since the argument with Suga that day, they haven't been around him much.

He huffed and slammed his locker door shut.

"Those jerks want to take his side, even Aurora. Tch," he muttered and made his way to class.

Half the day went by and there was no sign of his friends anywhere. He sighed and ruffled his hair. He has to admit, it was pretty lonely without them.

Then, he noticed that Ji Ae wasn't at school either and he wondered if she was the reason why they didn't show up. He scoffed at the thought but then again the scene replayed in his head.

He then opened her small hand and set his own over hers, intertwining together perfectly just like last night.

"I am here for you...Do not be scared..."

She stopped shaking and the members stared at him with shock expressions. How did he do that?

"Taehyung..." she whispered back and grasped onto his hand tightly. "Help me..."

"Why did she call my name?" he whispered to himself.

Suddenly his heart started pounding out of nowhere and he held his chest. That's weird, he thought but pushed the feeling away. That didn't matter right now. What mattered was the look on her face when she was calling him. It was as if she was in trouble. The way her body was shaking and sweating.

"No, what are you thinking about? What happened was a mistake. She'll be fine next time," V told himself but honestly, he was sure about that.

She will be alright, right?

He looked down at his hand, remembering the warmth of her hand but quickly snapped out of it.

"Shut up, Taehyung."

After dumping his tray in the trash, he walked to his classroom. It was music class now.

Students started piling in and the teacher started calling their names out loud. After getting his name called, it was Ji Ae's. Although he knew she wasn't here, he still looked around the room anyway. Soon whispers were being heard and he hated the fact that they were talking about her. They didn't know her. He pitied her.

Only half the class was here and soon class started. V listened, still it was pretty boring. All the teacher was explaining was the basic start of when playing the piano which was nothing hard. He already knew everything that was being taught. He even knows how to play the saxophone, though he's a bit rusty at it.

When class ended, a woman walked in asking for Ji Ae. Instead of leaving, he sat and slowly gathered his things as he listened.

"I'm looking for Ji Ae. She seemed to have forgotten notebook," she said with a worried look.

The music teacher scratched his head and then looked at V.

"Ah, Taehyung-sshi. He's friends with her older brother. They're in a group together as well!" he said with a smile and the lady turned to him.

"N-Ne?"

"Oh, really? I didn't know! Well, then Taehyung-sshi, would you mind bringing this to her? I forgot to give it back to her the last time she came by," she gave him an apologetic look.

Unable to refuse now, he nodded and bowed. She handed it to him and he took it from her.

"Thank you. Be sure to apologize to her for me as well," she smiled and he nodded only.

Ji Ae came out of her room and went downstairs. Downstairs, Jin was watching TV.

"Oppa, have you seen my notebook?" she asked and he was paying attention to her.

"Notebook?"

"Yes, my notebook," she said and he shook his head.

"Did you leave it at school?"

She thought to herself then smiled. "Maybe. I'll go check. Be back soon," she says and he turned off the TV. He got off the couch and went up to her.

"Don't worry. I'll ask Taehyung," he shooed her back upstairs and took out his phone.

School ended and just as V walked out, he got a text message. It was Jin.

Can you help get Ji Ae's notebook and bring it? She didn't go to school today. Mianhae.

He scoffed to himself.

"Obviously," he grumbled.

Yah, am I a post office or something?

Hey guys, so I finally finished this chapter! I would've been finished yesterday and posted it if it weren't for my laptop freezing up on me. Anyway, it was a good thing I had my chapter planned out.

Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying it so far! I have school work to do so I will be updating probably tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I still have to plan and organize my thoughts and scenes for the next chapter that's why. So hopefully I finish my school work early and finish my chapter layout too.
