~~~~~Sungyeol’s POV~~~~~

I walked into the library trying to make sure that no one saw me. I walked into the section where the book was but all I saw were the posted notes.

I scoffed as I read the note, for her information, the notes were rushed so I didn’t have time to look over them. She is so unbelievable; she didn’t return that book on purpose. Aish, I really need that book for the college entrance exam. I looked around; she’s probably here still watching me suffer. Since it’s late at night and barely anyone is here, it’ll be really easy to find her.

I walked around the library trying to look every girl’s face to see if it was here but she wasn’t there. I decided to go and check outside. There were a few people studying outside and once again, I tried to look at every girl’s face and when I reached the third girl, I couldn’t see her face because her scarf was covering it, but I saw the book that I needed.

“Oh! Excuse me!” I said in a surprised voice, I then realised that I was in a public place and that I should control myself.

She looked at me and pulled her scarf down, “Oh, are you still sick? It’s been 6 days already and you’re still wearing the mask?”

“Yeah sure. Can you please return the book so I can borrow it?”

“I’m sorry, I can’t. I need to get the most out of this book before you put your sick germs all over it.”

I pulled down my mask and flashed a smile at her and bowed, “Anneonghaseyo, I’m Infinite’s Sungyeol.”

She gave me an uncertain look and then smiled, “Anneonghaseyo, I’m this library’s resident nerd, Jenny.” She then looked down and wrote some things in her book.

“Look, I really need that book to study.”

“Use the study notes you wrote.” She said as she continued writing in her book.

“Look, the study notes don’t have everything and I need everything. Please return the book.”

She scoffed, “What happened to the guy that was so literally making threats towards me on Friday?”

I pursed my lips together to refrain myself from making more threats to her. How could I just lose my cool like that? I can’t, that would be bad publicity for the group.

“I’ll give you an autograph if you return the book.” I think I’ve reached a new low…

“What? I don’t think so. I’ve turned down BEAST for this textbook, no way am I going to give it up for a rookie group.”

“You-” I let out a sigh of frustration, “Fine, since I can tell that you’re not the type to go on the internet and talk bad about me, I’m going to do this.”

I quickly grabbed her book and started running, to be honest; I had no idea where I was going.

“Yah! Yah! Give me back the book!” She tried to get out of her seat but she struggled a little bit and partially stacked it. I stood there as I watched her get out of her seat.

“Yah! Give me the book back! Yah, Infinite’s Sungyeol! Give me back my book!” she stood up and starting packing her things into her bag. I stood there watching her slowly put her books into the bag. I then saw the return box outside the library and started running towards it.

“You! Don’t you dare do what I think you’re going to do!” she shouted out as she leapt over the seats and chased me to the return box.

“I really need this book!” I said as I continued running. I almost reached the return box when I felt something heavy on my back. I lost balance and fell down and rolled down the stairs.

The girl screamed as we rolled down the stairs. We were at the bottom of the stairs and people started crowding us. I groaned in pain as rolled over side to side in pain. I turned my head and the girl pulled my mask up to cover my face before she scrunched up her face from pain.

“Are you two okay?” Someone asked us.

“We’re fine.” Said the girl as she slowly stood up, “You don’t have to worry about us.”

“Are you sure?”

I stood up and nodded my head, “Yes, we’re fine. Please don’t worry about us.”

“Are you sure? We should take you to a hospital to get you checked up.”

“No. It’s okay, we’re fine, nothing’s broken.” Said the girl as she moved her arms and legs around as she tried to put on a smile. To be honest, I couldn’t do what she was doing; my whole body was hurting so badly.

Everyone slowly walked away and as soon as everyone walked away the girl grabbed the book away from me and whacked me with me. I bent over in pain.

“Are you crazy? Why did you take the text book?”

“What? I was desperate. I need that book. I have a college exam next week.”

“Well you should have gone earlier.” She said as she limped over to her bag.

“Are you hurt real bad?”

“No, because I can’t feel the pain all over my body.” she said sarcastically.

“What’s up with the sarcasm?”

“I don’t know. All I know is that right now, I have the right to be sarcastic.”

I scrunched my face up in pain as I slowly walked towards her. “Follow me.” I grabbed her by the elbow and pulled her away.

“What are you doing? Can’t you see I’m in pain? Yah!”

I didn’t reply to her because if I was to open my mouth, I would have shouted out in agony.

“Where are we going? Are you kidnapping me? I’ve never seen this before. A rookie idol kidnapping a civilian.” She let out a laugh of disbelief.

“We’re going to Infinite’s dorm.”
