“Yah Jenny ah, if you keep flicking his forehead, he’ll lose brain cells.”

You forward and saw Hyunseung walking towards you. Sungyeol immediately bowed to him.

“Oppa, why are you out so late?”

Hyunseung scoffed, “Shouldn’t I be asking you the exact same question?”

You smiled nervously, “Yeah… but I’m with him…”

“Well, I know I shouldn’t be telling you bad news since you’re on a date and everything but Min Hye, Min Hye has terminated her contract with CUBE.”

“Eh?” your eyes widened.

“She seemed pretty upset… she kind of had a dummy spit.”

“Min Hye? But she’s always so… calm and cool.”

Hyunseung took in a deep breath and shrugged his shoulders.

You had a worried look on your face. Sungyeol nudged you, “Just go. We’ll walk in the middle of the night some other time.”

“You sure?”

“Don’t worry; I will not bring this up.” Sungyeol assured you.

You hugged Sungyeol, “Thank you.”

“No problem.”

You broke away from the hug and punched both Sungyeol’s and Hyunseung’s arm.

“Ow!”

“It’s 2:50 in the morning. Do you really think that she’ll be awake to talk about it?”

“You’re right…” they both nodded their heads.

“But I guess I should go home so I can refresh and talk to Min Hye tomorrow.” You said in a concerned tone.

 “Don’t you want us to walk you home?”

“Nah, it’s a 15 minute run from here.”

“Are you sure?” Hyunseung asked you.

You nodded your head, “I’ll be fine.”

Sungyeol grabbed your hand, “Don’t talk to any guys on the way home okay?”

You smiled, “Don’t worry, I won’t.” You patted Sungyeol’s cheeks.

“I guess if you’re going to go, is it alright if Sungyeol and I go get a drink together?” Hyunseung asked you.

You smiled as you nodded your head, “Both of you just come back in one piece okay?”

“Yeah, we will. Oh Jenny, when you talk to Min Hye tomorrow.”

“Okay. I’ll get going now.”

“No talking to guys on the way home!” Sungyeol said in a protective tone.

You nodded your head before running off. Hyunseung and Sungyeol watched as you walked into your house. Hyunseung turned to Sungyeol and patted him on the back. “So, I guess it’s time for me to go all protective older brother like. Come on; let’s go get something to drink.”

“But I just finished getting Ricky to be on my side…” Sungyeol muttered to himself.

“Eh?”

“Nothing, sunbae,” Sungyeol smiled awkwardly as he followed Hyunseung.

“You know, if you think I’ll be hard, just imagine how hard it would be to impress all the guys in Jenny’s company.”

Sungyeol’s eyes widened.

“Yeah… so I’m not that bad,” said Hyunseung as he walked off with Sungyeol.
