Where to now?Track 67. I FEEL LIKE I'M DROWNING by Two Feet | ♩
Rara tilted her glass of wine, mixed with animal blood, watching the red liquid swirl back and forth.
In my skin, once again. I can only imagine how problematic this can get. So where am I?
It was the annual United Superhuman Summit. Each type of being would assign a representative of their kind to attend the gathering. The said gathering involved talking about the current events that were occurring in both the mortal and non-mortal world and how they would deal with such things in a civilized and peaceful manner.
Maybe we should have something like this in my world.
There were wizards and witches from different schools of magic, each Olympian sent their chosen son or daughter—a demigod—to represent themselves, a bunch of werewolves was also present, one for each tribe and as for the vampires, one for each clan.
Rara represented Ignis, which is the fire clan. She felt her attention span disintegrating the longer the conference dragged on; a little bored and disinterested, she decided to stretch her legs, and excused herself from the vampire’s table, and exited the function hall.
Oh, so this conference lasts all weekend so it’s held at a hotel, and everybody’s checked in.
Would be nice to get out of these stilettos. I should change to my sneakers. With this long dress, nobody would notice anyway. Something I would definitely do. Opening her purse, she took out her card key. It was still early in the evening, about 7 pm. This hotel was hidden from plain sight, invisible to mortals, and exclusive to the immortals.
Rara took the elevator and patiently waited until it reached the eighth floor. She stepped and walked leisurely, no rush.
Wait, someone’s following us.
She turned her head slightly, and smiled, and proceeded to walk forward.
And she knows.
And I bet I know who it is as well.
She stood in front of the door, 8012. She held the card key towards the sensor, but not close enough for it to detect the card key.
Someone clutched her wrist from behind, brought her hand closer to the sensor, making the card key detectable, and then there was a click; the sound of the door unlocking.
Rara grinned to herself.
Just as I expected.
“What’re you doing, running off alone?” The person whispered next to her ear, opening the door and lightly pushing both himself and Rara inside.
