Track 26. DEEPER by Saint Cava | ♩ 

Rara removed her coat quickly, feeling the panic set in. She managed to remain cool even as the Other Baekhyun looked beat up, with his eyes half-open and his breathing shallow; he looked as if he was about to fall asleep. She loosened up his necktie and took his face carefully and made him face a different direction, just so she could look at the vampire bite. Seeing that it was fizzling with gases, she knew that there was definitely venom in there. 

How should I go about this? Rara thought. The most convenient position for her to the venom was to get inside the bathtub with him. It was the easiest, yet it was also the most uncomfortable because then she’d have to sit on his lap while she drained the venom out of him. It was obscene but well, it was also the fastest way, so she kicked off her boots and got in the bathtub. One hand flew to the base of his neck and the Other Baekhyun found himself staring at Rara’s infamous cherry-red eyes. “Don’t move. This will only take a while.” She said in a serious tone. 

As soon as Rara felt her fangs come out like Wolverine’s claws in response to the smell of blood, she wasted no time digging them in the Other Baekhyun’s neck.

In her head, Rara counted 60 seconds before she could fall back and ensure that she had gotten all the venom. He was only bitten briefly, and half a minute would’ve done the job, but she needed to be sure. 

In her head, Rara had also hoped terribly, terribly, terribly, that the taste of his blood wasn’t the same as Baekhyun’s. That his blood wasn’t made in her favorite flavor. 

The Other Baekhyun felt the venom leaving his system as he felt the burning sensation slowly dissipating. He was also regaining back control over his movements. He clutched Rara’s wrist, the one that held him by the base of his neck, and unlatched her grip from him. Languidly, he rose up to sit up straight, and just in time, Rara pulled away from his neck. She hung her head low before leaning back and cracking her neck side to side. As if she wasn’t magnetic enough when she looked human, in normal clothes or in a crisp lab coat, she was on a different level whenever she manifested into what she actually was—a cold-blooded bloodsucker, with those scarlet red eyes that could pass as mirror images of a lunar eclipse, her fangs peering a little bit from and the tiniest drops of blood dripping from her lips. Her charisma was like a hand clamped on the Other Baekhyun’s mouth; it made him speechless.
