“Mafia boss, huh?” Rara snickered. “I never would’ve guessed.” 

It was early morning, and the Park siblings, still in their pajamas, were hanging out in the living room. Rara had learned from Chanyeol that Kyungsoo, or more widely known by his code name, D.O, was one of his right-hand men. He’s the nephew of their butler Seojun. The descendants of the previous generation of their father’s henchmen were also in line to serve Chanyeol.

“I would’ve told you, but then I’d have to kill you.” Chanyeol said jokingly with a smile. “I swear the secrecy was to save you from all this...whatever this is, but you ended up saving mine. I owe you one, Rara.” 

“C’mon, we’re still siblings, aren’t we?” She tugged his ear playfully. “Partners in crime. No pun intended.” 

“When were—”

“Chanyeol! I’m so—“ Chanyeol and Rara immediately whipped their heads to that frantic voice. “Who’s this?” 

It’s Baekhyun. Finally.

“Um, Rara. Could you excuse us for a minute?” Chanyeol requested. “Mom could use some help in the kitchen.” 

“Uh, yeah.” Rara got up and smiled at him. “Sure. See ya at the table.” 

I forgot. Nobody knows Chanyeol has a sister. Nobody knows me in their world. He must be another one of his right-hand men. Rara thought. She entered the kitchen, and her mother, along with their cook, was busy working in the kitchen.

“Rara, what brings you here? Breakfast isn’t ready yet.” Her mother said as she flipped pancakes. 

“Um, Chanyeol has a visitor.” 

“Is that so?” Her mother resumed cooking. “Did he mention a name?”

“No.” Her mother leaned closer to the cook as if she was telling her a secret. She then handed the spatula to the cook, walked over to the opening that led to the living room, and peeked.

“Oh, it’s Baekhyun.” 

“Who’s he anyhow?” Rara pulled a chair and took a seat on the dining table.

“He’s one of your brother’s right-hand men. He has five of them. You’ve met Kyungsoo. Now you’ve seen Baekhyun.” 

“Oh, okay.”
