After the holidays were over, Hyukjae began planning the Scarecrow renovation. He was excited and gave all the ideas to Yoona who designed the restaurant and called the contractor who was her best friend and always worked with her. And trusting Yoona and her team, Hyukjae went to do other things.

He had plenty of time to visit Arrow, so he went to Donghae's house at least three times a week and spent time with their son. And as Ari had to return home, Donghae needed help. Arrow was almost four months old and played up.

Well, he was a very active baby.

So, that February afternoon, Donghae was on the verge of freaking out when he heard the bell. Arrow was in the car seat, chewing on a toy, and sometimes babbled something as if he were talking to his dad who pretended to be shocked by everything the baby said. Hyukjae laughed, went into the house and saw the mess the room was in.

Hyukjae nodded and looked at Arrow who shook his arms and legs when his appa approached clapping. He had to clean his hands, but then he carried his son and nibbled on his cute little belly, making the boy giggle.

- Did you make this mess in the room, Arrow? Your dad isn’t even twenty-eight years old and already has white hair.

Donghae's eyes widened.

- What? – and ran to the mirror – I don't have white hair.

- It was a way of saying it. And now rest, as your day has been very busy. – and so they sat on the sofa, but Arrow was on Hyukjae's lap trying to play with the cord of his hood – What happened here?

- Oh, I do not know. Arrow slept and I went to clean the fridge because I needed to throw some food in the trash. Then he woke up and ate some fruit, but he didn't like it very much and I have no idea how we're going to put the bottle down. Then he watched me clean up the kitchen and started crying because he wanted attention. I took care of him, he slept and I managed to clean the kitchen. Then the phone rang and Arrow woke up. With that, I saw that he got his diaper dirty and so... He needed another shower. Then he slept a little and woke up with sobs, so I gave him water and the TV so that Arrow could be calm. It worked and I managed to start tidying up the room, but Arrow whimpered and was only calm after he started chewing on this toy.

Hyukjae widened his eyes and looked at Arrow who looked like the most harmless baby in the world.

- Wow... You gave your father all this fatigue and it's not even lunchtime.

- And I'm so hungry. – Donghae whimpered and looked at Hyukjae – Would it be too much to ask you to do something for me to eat?

- Of course not. – he smiled and stood up – Come on, Arrow. We will make delicious food for your daddy.

Arrow looked at Donghae, but then kept his attention on Hyukjae who took his son and the chair to the kitchen. And as it was an open concept kitchen, the brown-haired man saw his ex-boyfriend sitting the baby in the chair and opening the refrigerator to get the ingredients. Apparently, he was going to make spaghetti and that alone opened a smile on Donghae's face.

And while Arrow was amazed at the talent of his appa with the knife to cut tomatoes and meat, his dad took advantage of that moment to clean up the room and bathe. Donghae needed to at least get through the day knowing that he was able to do what was on his to-do list.

- Bathing is amazing. – Donghae said as soon as he went to the kitchen after the shower – I didn't even know if I could take a shower so soon.

- Why don't you call me and ask me to come and help? Scarecrow is under renovation and I just need to go there to see if everything is okay. Other than that, I don't do anything else.

- Not even working on new recipes?

- I do it when I'm inspired.

- What about your YouTube channel?

- Well... I think we have plan changes. – Hyukjae smiled – It’s very likely that I will go on TV, since I am famous in the gastronomic world and I even appeared in some TV shows.

Donghae was so happy for Hyukjae that he hugged him.

- He hates the baby food we bought last week. – Donghae said while giving Arrow food – I can't wait for Arrow to start eating solid food.

- He needs teeth for that. – they laughed – But you can make it and just heat it up in the microwave. It's just mashed vegetables.

- Yeah, but... – the brown-haired man sighed and ended up laughing when Arrow soiled his cheeks with the mashed pumpkin – What a messy baby.

Hyukjae smiled and wiped Arrow's cheeks, then said:

- I'll make the baby food and leave it in your fridge. What do you think?

- I think it's a great idea. Shall we make a list and then go to the supermarket?

Arrow smiled and Donghae laughed, shaking his head and continuing to eat the spaghetti and feeding the baby who was happy and smiling like never before.
