After the weekend trip, everyone returned home and Donghae couldn't sleep that night.

While they were at the airport, Kangin asked if everything was ok and Donghae decided to lie because he didn't want to deal with what might be happening. He was panicking and couldn't just say he was suspicious of a possible pregnancy.

Donghae liked Kangin. He really did, but he couldn't imagine a baby being born from that relationship. They had never even talked about it before, so it all felt a lot scarier and that pressure on his shoulders was terribly heavy.

So, after Arrow woke up – and this happened at noon – Donghae got him ready so he go out with Hyukjae who would take him to Scarecrow for a sandwich and also spend time with his son. With that, Donghae waited for Ryeowook to arrive and couldn't stop playing with his fingers.

- Hae... You'll break your fingers like that. – Ryeowook commented when he saw that Donghae was very nervous – What happened?

- I… – the brown-haired man sighed – I was sick all weekend.

Ryeowook sighed and started the car again.

Donghae nodded and thanked him, but it did nothing to ease his heart from a whole fate he hadn't planned. It was all so confusing and scary. He didn't know what to do.

Then, arriving at the hospital, Donghae and Ryeowook got out of the car and went directly to reception to say they had an appointment with Dr. Lee Soonkyu. The receptionist asked him to wait and so he sat in the chair with Ryeowook who looked at his friend and thought of a thousand ways to comfort him.

But Ryeowook didn't know what to do.

Luckily, Sunny called Donghae who got to his feet so abruptly that even she was startled. But after laughing, she put a hand on his shoulder and so the three went to her office. They sat down and she said:

- Good to see you, Donghae. How are you doing?

- I... Well, I'm a nervous wreck right now.

- Why? We’ll just do the usual blood test to see how your blood pressure is, how your glucose is, and all that stuff.

- I know that, but it's just that… – he sighed and thought it best to say at once – I need to know if I'm going to have another baby.

At that moment Sunny arched an eyebrow and looked at Ryeowook who stuttered when he said:

Then she looked at Donghae again.

- Who is it? I didn't even know you had a partner. Or is it Hyukjae again?

- N-no... This is another one, but I really need to know.

- Alright. – she sighed and typed some things on her computer – Let's talk about symptoms and all those things you know very well.

Donghae nodded and told her everything Sunny needed to know. She typed everything in and thought it best to do that blood test that detects pregnancy to break the news at once to the brown-haired man. So after she finished typing and so printed the paper, Sunny stood up and said:

- Come with me. You're going to take the blood test I asked for and also the other one so we'll know if you'll be a daddy again.

A shiver ran down Donghae's spine.

- Can Ryeowook go with me?

Sunny nodded and so the three left the office. Donghae went into a room and sat in the chair with Ryeowook holding his hand and saying that everything would be fine. The brown-haired man sighed and managed to calm down as the nurse arrived to draw his blood. Sunny monitored everything and took the blood sample for another test while the nurse placed the tubes with blood to do that test the doctor asked for.

After that, they went back to the office and Sunny said:

- Your result comes out in a few hours, so you can wait in the waiting room and I'll talk to you.

- Can I eat?

- Of course. You've been fasting for 12 hours and now I imagine you're hungry.

Donghae agreed. He hadn't eaten anything and that was such a danger to him that he could simply receive news he didn't want. So, after leaving the office with Ryeowook, they bought a snack and ate – they should have gone to lunch, but they would do that later.

But your result was negative and that means that there are no babies coming around and that you may have had a stress from the trip because you told me that you always feel sick when you travel by plane. It could have been the start of a flu or food poisoning.

Donghae managed to breathe in that moment.

All that feeling of relief washed over his body and he just wanted to relax and go home where he felt protected.

- Thanks, Sunny. I just needed this result to take a load off my back.

- Because my relationship with Hyukjae didn't work out. We talked about this idea months before we started fighting, but you know what happened after the fights.

- It's not that I was happy. When I learned that I would be a father, I didn't believe it and then I wondered if Hyukjae would support me as he promised he would never leave my side if we adopted a child. But he kept his promise and supports me to this day, even after the fight we had. I trust Hyukjae because I know he would stay by my side if he were in Kangin's shoes. I'm not saying Kangin wouldn't do the same, but my level of trust in others isn't as high as I wanted it to be.
