so the story finally came to an end. After four years, I managed to post all the chapters and I think I'm emotional because I didn't want to end this story.

I'm not sad, because next year we have the sequel and it will be fun to follow the growth of Arrow and his friends - and obviously, Eunhae's love ^^

so even though it was a short chapter, I hope you guys like it :)

The pandemic ruined all of Donghae's plans to throw a big birthday party for the twins who e in August 2020. He had thought of everything over the last year and had decided that the best thing to do was a big chocolate cake with various lollipops and colorful sweets. Of course, they should have friends too, but they couldn't join the daycare because it was still dangerous due to the spread of the virus.

Donghae was able to return to work and needed to take care of his business, so he barely had time to spend at home with his children. Sometimes he would arrive so tired that he would fall on the couch and sleep right there. Hyukjae just made sure to cover his boyfriend with a fluffy blanket and put the pillow under his head so he felt comfortable – the next day there was always breakfast ready for the brunet.

Donghae wasn't sure if he could handle work and the kids at home. He got frustrated and cried when he was alone in the shower, but it was impossible to fool Hyukjae, who always waited outside the bathroom ready to hug him and take him to bed.

- What happened today, Hae?

- I just hate my life.

- Why?

Donghae sighed, being hugged by Hyukjae when they were in the room. The whole house was silent.

- I no longer feel comfortable working as a pastry chef. I can't find my passion. I can't stay at home with my children. I can't even spend time with you.

- And what do you want to do?

- I don't know. I'm scared of leaving everything to stay at home, you know? I would like to make the sweets and cakes to order, but I don't want to leave Ryeowook working alone in the pastry shop. I built that place and it helped me a lot. But now I don't see much point in it. I don't want to abandon ship, but I don't feel as happy as I did at the beginning.

Hyukjae nodded and thought for a while. He had a solution to the problem, but he had no idea if Donghae would accept it.

- What if I bought your pastry shop to integrate it into Scarecrow?

Donghae looked at Hyukjae and sat on the bed, frowning.

- Why would you buy my pastry shop?

- Well, we would be partners then. That way, I could have the whole team running your business and you could spend more time at home.

- And would I still have to work?

- Ryeowook could be the head pastry chef and you would just give him the recipes to make. And since we already have an agreement for your pastry shop to supply the dessert for my restaurant, we would hire more employees. Who knows, maybe we could turn the pastry shop into a bakery? Bakers would make baguettes, ciabatta and every bread known to the world.

- Do you want to expand my business?

Hyukjae nodded.

Donghae pursed his lips.

- You don't need to think of an answer now. I just wanted to offer you this solution.

- And I wouldn't need to work?

- You would continue working. After all, it's your pastry shop and that means you need to develop the recipes for all the sweet treats.

- But how much of my business would you take over?

- Well, I would buy 45% of your business and offer all the accounting and company management services because I want to expand the pastry shop business. There will be more things offered within the 45%, but these two are the main ones.

Donghae thought hard. He would still have 55% and would work hard because it was his business, but it didn't seem like a bad idea to be Hyukjae's partner. He could let his own legal team and accountants take care of everything, and that would ease some of the weight on the brunet's shoulders.

- It's okay, Hyuk. I agree to be your partner.
