Hello, hello :)

well I know it's been a while since I last updated this fanfic and all I want to say is when I take so long to update it's because I'm having a really bad time and I need to stay away. I didn't give up on fanfic, but sometimes the crisis comes and I can't write anything at all.

but I hope you like this chapter - although yunseo is in it - and it's not exactly a chapter with cute moments about arrow being the angel he is. but you know... next week I'll be back :)

If he could name all the feelings, Arrow at that moment would say he was disappointed in his appa.

But he was only three years old and he didn't understand why his little heart couldn't accept that there was Hyukjae saying that that pink-haired man was his boyfriend. Arrow didn't even ask questions. All he did was to nod as he played with the loose thread in his shirt sleeve.

Hyukjae hated himself deeply to see Arrow like this.

- Your appa said you started ballet class today. – Yunseo said and Arrow nodded – Did you like it? – the boy nodded again – Did you know that I also danced? – he shook his head and Yunseo looked at Hyukjae who sighed and said:

- Alright, Arrow. You can talk to Yunseo.

But all Arrow did was look at Hyukjae and say:

- I want my daddy.

And Hyukjae could only nod.

- Say goodbye to Yunseo so I can take you to your daddy.

Arrow just waved and climbed off his chair. He wanted to run to Donghae, but Hyukjae took his hand and led him to his father while Yunseo stared at the brown-haired man from afar and smiled. He even winked and it made Donghae crumple his napkin while Kangin tried to understand why Yunseo acted like an idiot.

However, when he looked at Arrow, Donghae felt that anger leaving as his baby let go of Hyukjae's hand and raised his arms for his father to carry him. And knowing that he should act naturally, the brown-haired man asked:

- Did you enjoy meeting Yunseo?

Arrow then asked:

- Can we wach the movie now?

With that, Donghae let Kangin carry Arrow who hugged his neck and looked away from Hyukjae who felt something he never thought he would feel before. And that hurt too much.

- Hmm... We'll pick something to eat. – Kangin said and Donghae nodded – We'll come back soon.

So they left and Arrow didn't even look at Hyukjae who felt like his chest was being hurt. No. He didn't want to believe this was happening.

- Is Arrow angry?

So Donghae said:

- It’s hard to say. Don't ask me to explain his feelings right now, Hyukjae. Just be patient as this is a new thing for Arrow. – and sighed – But all I hope is that Yunseo is not an idiot.

Hyukjae arched an eyebrow.

- Why do you think he'll be an idiot?

- Because I know he mistreated Ryeowook because of our friendship. If he mistreats Arrow, I won't stand by and that's why I hope this dislike is directed at me, not our son and our friends.

- Everything okay there? – Yunseo asked when Hyukjae returned – I think Arrow didn't like me very much.

At that moment, Yunseo sighed and said:

- You and I are together for a few months and until then we never talked about me meeting Arrow. And now that he met me, you say he needed more time?

- You need to understand that Arrow is a child. His mind doesn't work like your mind or mine.

Hyukjae sighed and said:

- We shouldn't even be fighting about it. Arrow is my son and I know what's best for him. I didn't want him to meet you right now, because everyone is against both of us and I honestly don't understand why. I didn't want people to be so negative towards the two of us.

Yunseo crossed his arms and said:

- I didn't imagine that dating you would have something so impactful in my life. I've never been treated that way by other boyfriends' friends and family, but apparently to be with you I need to be identical to Donghae.

- You don't need to be identical to Donghae. You are completely different people and that's what matters. What I had with Donghae ended three years ago. You've been with me for a few months so we're just getting started and I definitely don't want to fight you.

Yunseo nodded, but pursed his lips and asked:

- So that means I can't be part of Arrow's life?

- Well, now he knows you. Arrow just needs to get used to the idea, as he met Kangin when he was a year old. – and so Hyukjae smiled at Yunseo who held his hand – You just don't need to think too much.

Nodding again, Yunseo smiled and said:

- So I can't wait to be part of that cute little boy's life. I will treat him very well.

Hyukjae nodded and was happy. He really trusted Yunseo's word at that point.

Donghae smiled as he looked at Arrow who was babbling about the movie with Kangin who laughed and agreed with everything the boy said.

Donghae was very scared that Arrow wouldn't be in the mood to watch the movie, but he laughed the whole time and asked things he didn't understand. However, another fear came and that the brown-haired man knew he would need Jangmi's help. After all, Arrow might very well have found a way to mask his feelings in that facade of joy.

And Donghae didn't want that to happen, because he wanted Arrow to trust his parents to tell them what was wrong or not.

Donghae hated that part of being a first-time parent. He wanted answers to questions that were always on his mind.

Arrow was famous for always fighting sleep, but he laid his head on Kangin's shoulder and fell asleep quickly. Donghae shook his head and looked at his boyfriend who was smiling and protecting that boy who really had a busy day and was tired.
