There was a funny feeling when Donghae stopped in front of the big mirror in that hotel room and took off his shirt. He was only in his underwear and smiling at his body that could change in a matter of months.
When it happened the first time, Donghae got very scared. He didn't like those new marks on his body and thought everything was going so wrong when he didn't even understand what was happening. Months passed and life gave him a gift called Lee Jiwoon, also known as Arrow.
And what would be the name of his next baby? It was something the brunet had no idea about because he could hardly believe that he would be a father again. Yes, they could adopt a baby, but Donghae still needed to hear what Hyukjae had to say on the matter. After all, it wasn't about having a giant family without being able to support it. It wasn't like they could take the baby with the stork and give it back when they realized they weren't ready to take on another parenthood.
Having a child was a much more complex process.
And Donghae had that in mind.
He was ready, but he needed to know if Hyukjae was ready too. Donghae talked about it with Eleanor and she said that he should take it easy and wait for Hyukjae as he would give the answer. The therapist knew that her client's boyfriend would not leave him in the dark.
Donghae waited patiently and got the answer he wanted the night before. It seems silly to repeat all this, but the brunet's mind was working on exactly what made his heart happy.
He then put on his shirt and went back to the room, jumping on the bed and hugging Hyukjae who was reading something on his cell phone. Hyukjae laughed and pulled Donghae so that the brunet sat on his lap. They looked at each other and smiled, kissing and caressing each other's faces.
- Good morning.
- Good morning again. – Hyukjae replied and laughed when Donghae hid his face in the crook of his neck – You haven't stopped smiling since the moment you woke up.
- Because I'm much happier today than yesterday. I realized it was real when I looked at you, that you were sleeping, and I understood that we are going to take a big step together. – Donghae looked at Hyukjae – We've had Arrow in our lives for almost five years and I still can't believe we had such an amazing baby.
- You don't believe he's our son?
- Well, yes. I know Arrow is similar to you and has some things that are mine too, but I can't believe we were able to bring such a good soul into the world.
Hyukjae laughed.
- What kind of monster are we?
Donghae rolled his eyes.
- I'm not saying that, you goof. – he flicked his boyfriend's forehead – What I mean is that Arrow came from a pure act of love between you and me. Our second baby also comes from this pure act of love, but we are in a completely different time.
Hyukjae nodded when he understood what Donghae meant.
- Were you afraid of him being unhappy because we were unhappy? – Donghae nodded – Glad we do our best for Arrow to have a happy life.
- And let's do the same now. – they kissed – Did I already say I love you today?
- Six times while kissing my face.
Donghae kissed Hyukjae's face once more and whispered:
- I love you.
- And I love you. – he laid the brunet on the bed and kissed his face – What do you want to do before we go back to real life?
Smiling as he lowered Hyukjae's shorts, Donghae whispered:
- Take me to the window for the whole city to see.
Hyukjae laughed, but he would happily fulfill Donghae's wishes.

In kindergarten, Arrow drew a tiger in his notebook. He wasn't in a good mood and hardly talked in class like he usually did – and this boy was a chatterbox.
But Arrow's bad mood had a cause: his parents.
They didn't sleep at home and Arrow waited patiently. It was two in the morning when Ari woke up and saw her grandson sitting on the couch awake with Kale and Ghost sleeping on the couch. She put him to bed and told him he should sleep as he had to go to kindergarten as soon as the sun came up.
Arrow wasn't at all happy about this, but he didn't even have a chance to protest when his eyes closed and he went to dreamland. Five hours later, he woke up and had a breakfast that consisted of carrot cake – which Arrow hated – and juice.
Usually Ari made a more elaborate breakfast, but both she and Arrow woke up late and had to run.
Summary: Arrow wasn’t happy and isolated himself from everyone so he could draw in peace. Even Gaeul stayed away from him to let him have his moment, but there was a moment when the boy had to approach his friend to see if he could play around for a bit.
- Jiwoon-ah? – Gaeul sat next to Arrow – Let's play football.
- I'm sleepy, Gaeul.
- And why didn't you sleep at your house?
- I was waiting for my appa and my dad. – he yawned and laid his head on the table and closed his eyes – But I'm going to sleep now.
Gaeul laughed, patted Arrow twice on the back and only didn't let his friend sleep because the teacher was passing by and the older boy nudged his friend in the waist. Arrow frowned and rubbed his eyes as he yawned again.
This obviously didn't go unnoticed by the teacher who approached and crouched down next to Arrow to see if the boy was okay as she saw that he didn't stop yawning during class.
- Are you okay, Jiwoon-ah? – Arrow nodded – Looks like you didn't sleep well that night.
- I was waiting for my appa and my dad to get home.
- And who was with you?
- Halmeoni.
- I see. Where was your appa with your dad?
- I don't know. They left yesterday. Halmeoni said they'll be back today and then I'll see them.
- I get it. But you should sleep at home, okay? Why don't you play a little?
- Because I'm sleepy. Also, I want to draw
