The house was quiet, Minhyun had left suddenly for some reason, leaving the house completely empty. I felt a little more at ease, I didn't have to be on my toes, wondering what was gonna happen next.

Taking  light steps, I walked down the hallway from the room he had been keeping me in, my heart pounded in my ears, making sure to look anywhere that could have someone hiding and made my first stop at the kitchen.

With trembling hands, I reached for a knife inside the block, grasping the handle tightly in my hand for safety. It had to be now, I don't know when I would get another chance.

I went to the front door as quickly as I could not even bothering to stop and put shoes on first. I twisted the lock until it clicked and opened up the door.

The ice cold air just about knocked the breath out of me, it would probably start to snow at any point in now. Winter was rapidly approaching, and now I was wishing I had taken the time to put shoes on.

My feet slapped against the concrete pavement, pain being replaced by numbness. "Where does the little kitten think she's headed?" I heard Minhyun ask before I saw him, he stepped out of the shadows and in front of me, making me nearly topple him over.

I came to a complete stop. "M-m-Minhyun…" I stuttered, my eyes rounding, I quickly hid my hand behind my back trying to hide the knife I had grabbed.

"What? Were you expecting me to be gone longer?" He asked, both hands still in his pants pockets as he leaned over to be at my eye level. "Did you think I'd actually be dumb enough to leave you in an empty house? Drop the knife." He ordered.

I stilled. How did he know? I was sure I hid it quick enough. "Taehyung isn't the only one with cameras in his house you know. Except, I get the feed on my cell phone. I was watching you the entire time. Now drop it."

Instead of listening, I decided to try my luck, removing my hand from behind my back I lunged at him, the sharp point of the knife aimed right at him, it sunk into him down to the handle, I let go and escaped his

Chapter 80: Jungkook does have some sort of soft spot for Tae, which isn't that weird really.
They spent so much time together after all so it would've been weirder if he didn't.
But he also lied that Nari died. Hm... I wonder why, although I kinda think I know why.
