Ch.68
SinnersTAEHYUNG POV
"Hey, you wanna go to Karaoke with Nari and me?" Jimin asked as he walked into my hotel room.
"Karaoke?" I asked a little surprised. "What made you want to do that?"
He shrugged a shoulder. "Everyone has been so stressed out I figured it would be nice for everyone to relax for a bit." He replied, plopping himself down into one of the overstuffed chairs.
I thought for a moment before I spoke. It was true, everyone was stressed out, it could be a good idea to unwind, plus I have something I wanted to give Nari, it seemed like it would be the best time. "Sure. I'll go." I gave him a smile, even though I had treated Jimin like crap more times than I could count, he stuck around for some reason. "That doesn't actually sound like a bad idea." I replied.
A smile spread across Jimins lips, like he was proud of himself. "I already told Nari, she's downstairs outside the hotel waiting for us." He said.
My hand went to my pants pocket immediately when I heard her name, my fingers wrapping around the small velvet box. "We shouldn't keep her waiting then. Let me just grab my jacket. Do you wanna go see if Seokjin and Jaesuk want to join us as well?" I asked, walking over to the small closet where my jacket was hanging up.
"Yeah. I'll meet you in the hallway." He quickly stood up and went to the door.
My fingers once more grasped the box, would she say yes? Was I making a mistake? I know the timing is horrible but what was good timing? I have never been so sure about something in my life.
From the very moment our eyes met, I had been smitten. I saw a little firecracker, she started off with a bad life an I wanted nothing more than to give her anything and everything she could ever dream of.
I shook my head, snapping myself out of my daze, gave myself one more look over in the mirror attached to the closet before heading out the door to meet up sith Jimin.
"Jaesuk didn't want to go, he said he was tired ans would rather stay here and watch TV." Jimin said.
I shrugged a shoulder. "That's fine. It will just be us then." I replied. "Are we ready to go?"
Jimin gave a nod and we all started to make our way to Nari downstairs.
Once outside I looked both ways but Nari was no where to be seen. I turned to Jimin. "I thought she was down here waiting for us." I said.
Jimins brows knit together, walked over to one of the benches, his face almost instantly draining of color. "Sh-she was." He said.
