TAEHYUNG POV

I stood outside the hospital, leaning my back and head against the brick wall. I brought my hand to my mouth taking a long drag from my cigarette. "Here. I figured you could use some too." I looked over, seeing Jungkook approach me, a cup of coffee in each hand, steam rising from the small opening.

I flicked my cigarette, blowing out the smoke before taking one of the cups from him. "Thanks." I said.

"Is everything alright?" He asked, coming to stand beside me, leaning against the wall like I was.

I took a drink and let out a long sigh. "Yeah. I'm fine." I answered. "No. That's not true, I'm not alright... Something's bothering me.. Nari mentioned that he said something about an old man. Who do you think it is?" I asked him pushing myself off the brick wall.

Jungkook followed me, taking long strides to keep up with my pace as I walked back into the hospital. "I'm not exactly sure what happened myself. She called me and I ran to get to her... I really did." His voice was trembling.

I put the palm of my hand in between his shoulder blades and gave him a light tap. "I know you did Jungkook. I know you wouldn't let anything happen to her if you could help it." I reassured him, trying to make him feel better.

"CODE BLUE. ROOM 109. CODE BLUE. ROOM 109." The sound of a woman's voice said over the loudspeaker that echoed off the empty hallway walls.

My eyes grew wide, Jungkook an I exchanged looks and started running, dropping my coffee onto the ground so I could run faster. 109 was Nari's room. Something was wrong.

When we arrived at Room 109, the door was open, Yoongi was leaning over a body, first rubbing the metal paddles of the defibrillator together to warm them up before pressing them against her chest. "CLEAR!" The lifeless body jolted up and fell limply. "Come on come on... Again CLEAR!"

I ran into the room, trying to pull nurses away so I could get to her. "SOME ONE GET HIM OUT OF HERE!" Yoongi shouted. Jungkook was behind me a moment later, wrapping his sturdy arms around my chest, lifting me up and pulling me backwards despite my kicking. The door of her room being shut so I couldn't go back inside.

Jungkook set my feet back onto the ground. I him, anger filling up inside of me. "How dare you!" I slammed my hands against his chest pushing him backwards.

He stumbled, falling into the bench across from her room, his eyes were wide, his hands held up in defense. "Taehyung calm down! You were in the doctors way, how do you expect them to do their job with you in the way?!" 

I unballed my fists, taking a shaky breath looking down at him. He was right, I knew he was. But before I could reply to him, the door to Nari's room opened, Yoongi walking out. "Before you lose your on me like I'm guessing you were about to do to Jungkook before I came out here. She's fine." He said.

"Well what the hell happened?!" I demanded. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Jungkook stand up slowly, he was trying to keep his distance from me, but at the same time trying to stay on his toes just in case I did something. He knew my every move... That's why he was my second.
