TRACK 116 | WHAT THE HELL by Avril Lavigne

Author's note: Hello! Happy Chinese New Year! I usually put my notes at the end of the update but I need to get out something real quick. I have figured out the whole storyline since the day I started writing this (I already know how this ends) and it occured to me that some of you might think that it's a short path to the answers that will tell us why our protagonist Rara lost her memories. It's not. Remember, I used to consider making a separate story for that because her past is a really different one from the present. I think we might be halfway there but we still got a long way to go. There are things I need to incorporate in the story and I hope you guys understand and extend your patience. I also find it dragging that I'm very slow but this is as fast as I can go. I'm not going to say much about the story because it would be spoiling you guys altogether, so yeah. Just keep reading or maybe you can wait for the updates to pile up then you can read in peace without stopping. By the way, I also decided to update once a week, specifically on Tuesdays...so yeah, at least there's a clear word on which day you'll be anticipating an update from me. “You know, Baekhyun has never been so sure of anything, but he was so sure of you.” Suho, the alpha of their pack, said with a smile. Baekhyun invited Rara to come over to their place in the woods. Rara already met the rest of the pack since Chanyeol was in this same group, but she never really had a chance to hang out with them. Once Ahyoung went back to her home and Jaehyun left for Italy with a meeting with the Aima Lamia, it was logical to meet the people in the same pack as Baekhyun. Everyone in the group was actually in the same school, but with clubs and organizations they belonged in, the pack only hung out in their common time, which was lunch, because after class, they had their own businesses to attend to. But they always reunited in the cabin. They were on the front porch while Kai and Sehun were goofing around half- around the front yard. Baekhyun, Kyungsoo, and Chanyeol were inside, preparing the snacks, so Suho kept Rara company.

“I know. Baekhyun’s an indecisive prick. 99.9% of the time we spend at the candy shop is just him deciding what to buy. I’ve probably had five college degrees by the time he has chosen what to buy.” Suho laughed heartily at her. “And it’s stupid because he ends up choosing the same thing every time. He’s like, ‘Maybe I’ll try a different one today’, but then, he ends up with the same sweets he bought the previous day.”

The alpha wolf was also something special and so was one of the shapeshifters in their group—Kyungsoo or more commonly known as D.O. Suho, like Baekhyun, can control an element, only that he had power over water and D.O over the earth. Add up Rara’s older brother who can control fire, the only person they are missing is someone who can control air. But Suho was content with Kai and Sehun, the youngest among them, being just an ordinary wolf. Taking care of five of them and himself was such a hassle.

“Yeah, that sounds just like Baekhyun.” Suho agreed.

“So, Baekhyun’s the first one to get his mate?”

“Are you trying to pressure the alpha wolf?” Suho jokingly remarked, raising an eyebrow at her.

Rara chuckled. “Maybe, maybe not.” She looked at him. “No, really. It doesn’t have to be the alpha wolf to get his mate first, right? I mean, things like that, they
