Mini Drama: Devil’s Tears:  Good Morning!

 

Mingyu was back and everything just drastically changed.

 

He looked cool, intelligent, charming, handsome, and many to mention. Such a perfect creature he was when he came back after a long time he’s gone.

 

Joshua and DK were confused of what was happening, while on the other hand, Wonwoo was very much aware that Lucifer had made a good trade or a trap with the boy, since he let him come back. He couldn’t help but to think of what had happened to Mingyu for the past few months that he was gone with the King of evilness and darkness. It must be terrible. Mingyu must have felt much fear rather than staying with either him or Hoshi.

 

The big monster kept observing the little monster who was growing fast.

 

After the day Mingyu came back, his face never change, except that he grew much mature and handsome than before. But Mingyu was still Mingyu. He wore the same voice, smile, and actions; though, something might have changed- as in serious change. But as of the moment, it was still unknown.

 

His attitude towards them was the same, but different behind their backs.

 

Mingyu became busy on Wonwoo’s -and now- his’ business/es too. As he said before, he would be in charge and his condition was taking over the whole company.

 

For the past few months, Mingyu had been busy with business trips, negotiating and endorsing their new products and services to other investors. He’s making JWW more famous and rich.

 

One time, Joshua, who was assigned to look after him, finally had a talk with Mingyu alone in their office.

 

Joshua:

Mingyu ya…

(Waiting for Mingyu to respond while the boy was busy looking at the documents on his desk on his office)

 

After that sweet call, Mingyu responded.

 

Mingyu:

(Still looking with the documents, but he never forgets to smile)

Yes, hyung?

 

Joshua:

Enough of that. Let’s continue this tomorrow.

 

Mingyu:

Oh~ just a moment.

(With the typical Mingyu-sweet-response.)

 

Joshua:

Then, I’ll wait for you.

 

Mingyu:

Sure.

Want to eat dinner outside?

 

Joshua:

It’s all up to you.

 

Mingyu:

Can you call Wonwoo-hyung and DK? Let’s eat together.

 

Joshua:

Alright.

And Mingyu?

 

Mingyu:

Yes?

 

Joshua:

I’m worried about you?

 

Mingyu:

Don’t.

(Finally looked at Joshua)

I’m fine as ever.

 

Joshua:

What happened?

 

Mingyu:

Oh! I just convinced the client to-

(His words were cut by Joshua)

 

Joshua:

I mean you and the demon.

…

While you are away.

 

Mingyu:

(He smiled)

Can you embrace me hyung?

 

Joshua didn’t hesitate. He gave Mingyu what he longed for.

 

Mingyu:

It’s very cold there.

(He smiled sadly)

Tsk!

He’s not too kind to give me jacket, you know.

He’s such a jerk!

I love Wonwoo hyung more and more and much much more!

(He stated)

And of course, you too, and DK and everyone.

(Feeling the warmth of Joshua’s embrace more.)

It’s so nice into someone’s arms, hyung. I miss this.

 

Joshua:

(Felt relieved that Mingyu was still the Mingyu they knew. But he knew he was up to something)

I miss you so bad, Mingyu.

I miss you so much.

(Still embracing and caressing the other’s head)

Tell me if you need something.

I will help, no matter what the price is.

 

Mingyu:

I only need one favour, hyung.

 

Joshua:

What is it?

 

Mingyu:

Stay with me and embrace me like this.

 

Joshua:

That’s an easy task Mingyu.

Nothing much harder?

(He teased)

I need a challenge.

 

Mingyu:

If that so…

I’ll tell you one thing.

 

Joshua:

I’ll listen.

 

Both with a both very serious and heavy expressions.

 

Mingyu:

I have a trade. Help me win.

 

Joshua:

Anything.

 

Mingyu:

Do as I say.

Don’t worry. I’ll take care of you just like Jun hyung did to you.

Let Me be Wonwoo hyung. Let You be Jun hyung and Let Wonwoo hyung be me.

And… I guess, DK will remain still.

(He giggled)

 

Joshua:

Then, I put my trust on you.

Even my life, Mingyu.

 

Mingyu:

That’s too much for me.

(He smiled)

And so, I’ll take care of it.

Thank you. I don’t want to be scolded by Jun hyung if ever we meet again.

I hope we… meet again.

I miss him.

(Embraced Joshua so tight)

I missed all of you.

 

Joshua:

(He smiled)

Should I call them?

What restaurant do you want to go?

 

Mingyu:

Anywhere I can enjoy.

 

Joshua:

I guess something warm and cozy…. But please, not a fast food again.

(He giggled)

Wonwoo hyung wanted to try everything he passed by when you are gone.

I’m really fed up of MSG.

And you I know how much extent he misses you, even though, he denies it.

 

Mingyu:

(He laughed)

Yeah. He missed me a lot. I know that.

 

Joshua:

He does.

(He sighed)

If you knew…

(He sighed once again)

And Mingyu…

I think, he’s not hearing our inner voice anymore.

 

Mingyu:

How come?

 

Joshua:

I don’t know.

 

Mingyu:

That’s good then.

He won’t hear me ranting.

 

Joshua:

You bet.

I’m not sure. Just check it.

 

Mingyu:

Alright.

Much better.

(He murmured)

 

After Mingyu signed all the papers, they went inside a restaurant and there they ate peacefully. DK and Mingyu were the ones- as usual- who’s making the mood up. They enjoyed the dinner- the humans at least; however, Wonwoo kept a cold stare as if Mingyu was a stranger.

 

One moment, Mingyu and the Devil had a chance to talk. Wonwoo knew he would check upon him if he’s already sleeping as always. He did not sleep that night until Mingyu came to his room to check upon him.

 

Mingyu opened the door.

 

Wonwoo:

You are still checking on me?

 

Mingyu was startled.

 

Mingyu:

Omo!

(with a gesture of too much, maybe over-reacting- but doubtfully, since he’s easily get scared)

Hyung, don’t kill me with heart attack.

(With his big hands positioned on his chest)

 

Wonwoo:

Let’s get this straight to the point, human.

What did you talk about?

…

Lucifer… what kind of trap is he brewing this time?

 

Mingyu:

Oh, I just had a horrible and cold vacation. That’s all.

 

Wonwoo:

What happened?

 

Wonwoo won’t allow Mingyu to take over him. He must lead, and he should be. Now, he needed to know because…

 

Mingyu:

Are you worried?

(He fearlessly teased)
