Mini Drama: Devil’s Tears: Cravings

 

          Seok Min and Mingyu were the only people in the mansion. DK had the chance to roam around the area and noticed a huge blank frame right in front of the stairs with the little relic-like black pieces, also in frames, scattered along the corridors. He looked at them intensely and muttered about how weird the existence of the ‘artworks’ were; however, just like what Mingyu and Seungkwan experienced, they only had a sentence or two to say.

 

          One moment after, DK touched them, but a strong force was blocking his hands from grasping them. The young man raised one of his brows in annoyance as he hardened his jaw.

 

There was no way out. It’s concealed. The only way the souls could be released was by Wonwoo’s consent or if he ‘happened’ to die. The young man pulled out his hand and retreated to proceed to the kitchen.

 

DK:

(He put out a cold smirk)

Tsk! What a mess.

(The reaper revealed)

 

Not long after, Mingyu went down and looked for DK. He was walking along the hallway when he saw the frames misplaced. He didn’t suspect anyone touching it. Instead, he thought that they simply move on their own, since they often move every time and both he and Seungkwan were always fixing them. No big deal. It’s just that this time, they were all messed up.

 

Mingyu didn’t have clue that, in fact, they were misplaced after the big blow of wind coming out from nowhere, when DK dared to touch it. Mingyu casually touched them and put them at the right place again. When he opened the door to their dining room, everything was set, but he couldn’t see Wonwoo sitting on his place. He only saw DK standing right beside the table.

 

Mingyu:

Is hyung not yet awake?

 

DK:

I went to his room but he’s not there.

(He said innocently.)

 

Mingyu:

So he did not go home?

 

          He immediately contacted Joshua.

 

Joshua:

Yes, Mingyu?

 

Mingyu:

Shua hyung, good morning!

How are you?

 

Joshua:

Good morning!

I’m good.

(He giggled)

You wanna ask something?

 

Mingyu:

Ah, yes… sorry to disturb you early in the morning.

Do you happen to see Wonwoo hyung?

 

Joshua:

Oh, he did not go home last night?

(He became worried)

He told me that someone’s gonna fetch him.

 

Mingyu:

Where’d he go?

 

Joshua:

At the mountains.

 

Mingyu:

Can you tell me?

 

Joshua:

Yeah. Sure. Do you want me to drive you there?

 

Mingyu:

Just tell me… I’ll ask DK.

 

DK:

(He came grinning back coldly. He looked different from the innocent and caring SeokMin.)

I think I may have known where he is.

( his lips after feeling delighted.)

 

Mingyu:

Really?

 

DK:

Yes. I met him last night.

(With an unexplainable deep dark eyes)

 

Mingyu:

Okay.

(He wondered what has gotten into DK, but he didn’t mind anyway.)

Ah-hyung… never mind… thank you.

(He said to Joshua)

Joshua:

Sure?

(He giggled)

 

Mingyu:

Yeah.

 

Joshua:

And Mingyu, don’t forget that you have classes alright?

 

Mingyu:

Hyung… I don’t want to go there. I wanna leave that school.

 

Joshua:

(He became troubled)

 

Mingyu:

I’ll tell you…

I’ll go there.

 

          Mingyu decided to meet Joshua before fetching his evil demon hyung. He packed their breakfast, so they could eat with Joshua.

 

Back to the innocent and ordinary SeokMin, he loved the idea and he was amazed on how humble Mingyu was; considering that he’s wealthy. Same with Seungkwan, he was very proud of him from the first time they knew each other.

          Mingyu embraced Joshua the moment he saw him.

 

Mingyu:

Hyung, let’s have breakfast. I know you don’t eat breakfast because you have no time.

(He winked)

DK cooked this for us.

(He giggled)

 

Joshua:

Really?

Thank you.

 

DK:

It’s my pleasure to serve you, sir.

 

Joshua:

Call me Shua hyung… or may I know how old are you?

 

DK:

I’m 25.

 

Joshua:

DK:

(He smiled)

 

Joshua:

          They ate together, but after a while, Joshua got a call from Wonwoo. He panicked and picked it up.

 

Joshua:

Yes, hyung?

 

Wonwoo:

(With a weak voice)

Pick me up at the place where you drop me.

 

Joshua:

(He stood up)

Ah!

Yes, hyung!

 

          He rushed outside while advising Mingyu to go to his school right after. The result of his panic was not because the order was immediate, but Wonwoo sounds like he needed help.

 

Mingyu:

Why are you rushing hyung?

 

Joshua:

I gotta fetch master.

Ya, Mingyu ya, don’t skip your class. I’ll be right back.

 

Mingyu:

Is there something wrong?

 

Joshua:

I don’t know.

 

Mingyu:

I have to go with you.

(With his super will to go, that no matter how you tell him not to, he would surely insist)

DK:

DK:

(Well, of course, the reaper would cover up)

DK:

For a real estate inspection, I think?

(He looked so innocent with his smile… the two did not suspected him about anything.)

 

Joshua:

I don’t know that Jun is planning to survey near a mountain?

Maybe it’s for a big development? No?

(He became confused)

 

Mingyu:

Since when do you work for Jun hyung, DK hyung?

 

DK:

Just call me DK, Mingyu.

(He giggled)

The moment he hired me. He asked me to bring him there.

(with a relax tone but a wicked expression.)

 

Joshua:

DK:

Are you and Jun hyung together?

(Smart to change the topic)

 

Joshua:

(He was surprised and blushed)

DK:

(He giggled softly, feeling that he might have touched a sensitive part. But well, he succeeded halting them from asking.)

          Even Mingyu was startled; though, he knew Jun liked him –based on his observation.

 

DK:

Joshua:

(He smiled bashfully)

(He teased. Well, it’s because of his stupid curiosity again)

You look good together, though.

(He pushed Josh to Jun because, he too wanted them together.)

 

          Joshua stayed quiet as he thought of it.

 

Joshua:

Mingyu ya… stop that.

(He told Mingyu gently but his heart was pounding hard at the moment.)

 

Mingyu:

Oh sorry.

(He sighed as he realized that he’s asking too much.)

I’m being careless again.

Joshua:

(He laughed because he knew that Mingyu won’t stop asking until he gets what he wants.)
