Mini Drama: Devil’s Tears: Hunter

 

          A week of a nicer, rather a little nicer demon, everyone was relieved. Or should they say they were a little worried and somehow anxious about Wonwoo’s weird actions? Anyway, they considered taking it at a normal thing to witness, so they could enjoy their lives as a normal human beings just for time being, because they don’t know where the devil’s evilness would strikes again. Except, they couldn’t yet keep Wonwoo from teasing them in a demon level. Oh well, it’s part of his character, so they already accepted it.

 

          In that period of time, no one visited their house. Not any of his brothers had come to see them. Thank goodness!

 

Same old story and routine, Mingyu goes to school, Wonwoo, Jun, and Joshua was off to office. Everything seemed weirdly normal- like human normal, and that includes Wonwoo not smiling. Because if he does, it’s really suspicious, in addition, scary.

 

          Everyday, they all went outside to eat. And imagine, Wonwoo suddenly requested to eat at a fast food which Mingyu recommended before and now they were eating with plastic utensils again. Jun couldn’t help but to smile seeing the monster looking normal and unbelievably innocent trying new things. The boy knew Wonwoo for a long time, and he didn’t remember feeling comfortable and safe beside him; although, he couldn’t remember anything from his childhood anymore as his master made him forget his human feelings while growing up.

 

          Later on, Mingyu, joined them to eat. He even requested DK to drive him immediately to a certain fast food chain because he’d like to join them at lunch. He greeted them cheerfully but Wonwoo ignored him, as usual. It didn’t matter anymore, he’s used to it. What matters was he was with them and he was happy. Mingyu was simple and innocent. It was annoying, but it was good because he didn’t need anything- any material thing for that matter- just to make himself happy.

 

          Meanwhile, when they got home all at the same time, which Seungkwan found amazing. It’s just that, someone was trailing them. An unexpected guest came- which was really expected anytime because they would always be unforeseen since they just go in and out of the mansion in their own will. An annoying figure was to set foot at the gates when Seungkwan kinda teleported, running as fast as his human feet could, to stop the man demon from entering.

 

Hoshi:

Chill.

(He smiled)

I just wanna talk.

And a tea if you may.

…

Is there any cakes (From Jun’s birthday) left?

 

Seungkwan:

Sir, it’s been a month since that cake was created.

Of course it’s gone.

(He said casually)

 

Hoshi:

Forgive me human- reaper…

I eat things even if it’s fermented (with molds)

 

Seungkwan:

Disgusting!

 

Hoshi:

Just kidding.

Anyway, is my brother there?

 

Seungkwan:

You seemed calm.

 

Hoshi:

I am always calm.

 

Seungkwan:

(Rolled his eyes)

Yeah. Your calm face always brings a storm inside the house… so I won’t let y-

(Before he finished his sentence, Wonwoo answered)

 

Wonwoo:

Come in.

(Wearing his sharp gazes)

 

Seungkwan:

Yeah. com-

What?!

Hey, I just tried my best not to let him pass.

(He complained)

 

Wonwoo:

It doesn’t matter.

 

Seungkwan:

(He became annoyed)

Damn!

Next time I won’t do anything anymore!

(He walked out grumpily.)

 

Hoshi:

How cute!

That’s why our sloth really likes him.

(He smirked)

Wonwoo:

(With a cold greeting, as usual)

 

Hoshi:

(He giggled)

 

          They had their ‘miraculously’ peaceful dinner. Everyone was behave, everyone was laughing and satisfied with their food.

 

Hoshi:

This food tastes great!

I think I better look for a butler myself.

(He sounded satisfied)

 

Wonwoo:

Make a mansion first, brother.

 

Mingyu:

So… what brings you here, hyung?

 

Hoshi:

I just want a talk with my brother.

I miss him.

(With a killer 10:10 eyes accompanied with a grin)

 

Mingyu:

That- doesn’t-sound- great?

Please don’t hurt him.

 

Hoshi:

I will not since you let me eat a very delicious meal.

Shall we?

In your office, my beloved brother?

(He smirked)

 

Mingyu:

(He murmured)

Do they know the meaning of ‘beloved?’

(He said in a sarcastic way)

 

Hoshi:

(Giggled)

I can hear you, puppy.

 

Mingyu:

I know. Tsk!

 

Wonwoo:

Sure.

What do you want to drink?

 

Hoshi:

Your special tea of course, no one can beat you with that. Minghao in making one. Tsk!

 

Wonwoo:

Of course.

 

Jun:

I’ll prepare the tea.

 

Wonwoo:

No. Joshua is better.

 

Jun:

(He became suspicious)

Joshua:

(He chuckled)

Alright master, I will serve you the tea.

 

          Jun looked at Joshua. He seemed odd because he was not afraid at all. What happened? Jun was now the stranger of the house. He didn’t know if he had the ability to protect people now, since they seemed protecting him more. He thought of many things, but he couldn’t just figure out what’s happening.

 

Joshua:

(Noticed that Jun was uneasy)

Ya…

(He giggled)

Relax.

It’s just a tea.

I’ll serve you one later.

 

Mingyu:

Me too!

 

DK and Seungkwan:

Can we have some too?

 

Joshua:

Of course!

 

          While in the middle of boiling the tea, Jun went to him and had a little talk.

 

Jun:

Hey… you looked like you’ve been here the longest?

Are you not afraid anymore?

 

Joshua:

Yeah.

I’m used to it.

Besides, he’s a good demon.

(He giggled)
absurd but… if you just obey, nothing’s gonna happen.

So, relax.

 

Jun:

Are you sure?

He’s the demon with the longest patience. He’d like to see people’s suffering.

 

Joshua:

It’s just a tea, Jun. c’mon.

(He served his favourite tea)

Jun:

Joshua:

(He smiled)

Joshua:

Nothing to worry. I promise I will be back alive and kicking. Alright?

Will deliver this (The tea) first.

 

          So, the pretty boy delivered the tea in Wonwoo’s office. They served the two men with their cup of tea as they smelled the aroma of the freshly boiled tea.

 

Wonwoo:

Very good, Joshua.

The smell is perfect.

 

Joshua:

Thank you, master.

(He smiled purely)

 

Hoshi:

(Sniffing into the pot of tea)

Oooooh~ good!

Smells so goooooood~

Hey… you gotta good student there ei.

Alright.

I will visit you often.

 

Joshua:

I will let you if you promise not to hurt me or touch me.

(He said teasingly)

 

Hoshia:

(Was surprised and laughed)

This is how Wonwoo influenced you?

Of course, if I will hurt you, no one’s gonna make teas for me.

(He winked)

 

Joshua:

Then, great! It’s all settled.

Now, you have to ask for my master to give you some of his creations.

 

Wonwoo:

(He smirked, satisfied on how Joshua acted.)
