Mini Drama: Devil’s Tears: Confusion

 

          They arrived at the place Mingyu requested, in no time.

 

The dimension they passed through was the black hole Wonwoo made for one of his favourite places on earth, Argentina.

 

The devil couldn’t just forget the place; moreover, he had been visiting that place frequently for the past few years, so he decided to make his first ever portal - that only he knows. The passage led them to his mansion which stood on the top of the hill nearby the ocean.  

 

          The scent of the nature was freshly smelled through the mansion’s balcony; in addition to that, the place offered a very stunning view of a vast ocean with the natural landscape surrounding it.

 

          They arrived early in the morning. Mingyu didn’t notice that they were in a different place when he woke up, since the tall young man was unconscious due to his high fever during their journey.

 

Mingyu found himself lying on a very comfortable mattress inside an enormous room. He felt like he’s inside a castle with all the flamboyant and classic designs adorned the walls and furniture. However, when he looked around, nobody’s there with him.

 

That room was once used by Blanca and the child named Elian.

 

          While Mingyu was resting, Wonwoo was away. The demon found time travelling the city alone, thinking of what to do with his confused mind. His other side wanted to quit but the other ego wanted to own the world. Moreover, he realized that no matter he convinced himself to return back doing his entertainment, it just felt boring. He felt tired. He felt empty. Maybe he was having some kind of what people called ‘depression’. How unfortunate.

 

          As he walked through a small city just near his house, he saw Vernon looking straight at him, as if he was waiting for him for a long time.

 

          The devil was astounded seeing his keen on that street where he used to fish people as his victims.

 

And then, they met.

 

Wonwoo:

What are you doing here, brother?

 

Vernon:

(With his serious dead eyes)

I am seeing things I didn’t remember.

 

Wonwoo:

(He smirked)

Confused, ei?

 

Vernon:

I want to kill that doll of yours for making me think of things that didn’t exist.

 

Wonwoo:

It did.

(He confirmed Vernon’s unexplainable dreams)

If that’s what your memory tells you.

 

Vernon:

How are you sure?

 

Wonwoo:

He’s a death god.

That chubby man you want to play with is a death god, Vernon.

(He explained briefly and clearly)

 

Vernon:

How did you know?

 

Wonwoo:

Well, I got that information through our eldest, then I confirmed it later.

 

Vernon:

I am seeing him once in a while!

(He grunted)

 

Wonwoo:

He’s not going anywhere, though.

…

I thought you like him?

(He teased)

 

Vernon:

I see him… I see him…

(Clutching his chest in anger)

In my dreams!

It’s disgusting!

 

Wonwoo:

(He smirked and was relieved that he was not the only one confused at the moment.)

He was the last one you saw in your death bed, was he?

 

Vernon:

Tsk!

 

Wonwoo:

I am seeing my death god too.

 

Vernon:

(He was surprised)

Since when?

 

Wonwoo:

Since that idiot came.

 

Vernon:

He must be a trap.

 

Wonwoo:

I don’t know.

He’s just a foolish and interesting man.

 

Vernon:

Then why keep him?

 

Wonwoo:

Like I said, I collect interesting people.

Like your cute personal death god.

 

Vernon:

Stop teasing me!

(He grunted in anger)

Did you find the butler?

 

Wonwoo:

No. Jun did.

 

Vernon:

Your house is full of mystery.

 

Wonwoo:

And so a homeless demon like you too.

 

Vernon:

(He smirked)

Does Hoshi know that you are seeing your death god?

 

Wonwoo:

Only you and me at the moment.

 

Vernon:

I see.

Give him to me. (Seungkwan)

 

Wonwoo:

I can’t. We have a business to do.

 

Vernon:

When will you plan to give him to me?

 

Wonwoo:

I don’t have any plans.

He’s mine, remember?

I’ll keep him.

 

Vernon:

Can I just hurt him?

His face haunts me!

 

Wonwoo:

Do as you wish.

But don’t destroy his body otherwise, I will be the one who will tear you into pieces.

 

Vernon:

Alright!

I’ll get going.

 

Wonwoo:

Off too?

 

Vernon:

Your chubby butler who owed me a lot!

 

Wonwoo:

How did you know I will come here?

 

Vernon:

I always follow you since I came to your house.

 

Wonwoo:

And how come you came here fast?

 

Vernon:

(He smirked)

Easy.

I followed you through your portal.

I didn’t know that you have favourite places that you find time making such portals of yours.

 

Wonwoo:

You won’t understand that feeling coz you are a sloth.

(He chuckled)

 

Vernon:

Of course.

And why are you keeping your tall and innocent pet in your favourite house, brother?

 

Wonwoo:

(He grinned)

Because he’s become my favourite pet, Vernon.

 

Vernon:

(He exchanged a grin)

I don’t understand.

You keep a son too.

 

Wonwoo:

You know a lot?

 

Vernon:

You can’t blame me for staying long, lurking around your nice and cozy mansion. But I couldn’t enter the last time. I wonder why?

(Wore a thinking face)

 

Wonwoo:

Lazy .

(He showed his evil grin with his red eyes)

I closed my mansion for entertainment purposes sometimes. That’s why.

 

Vernon:

I see.

I’ll get going.

Don’t worry, I don’t mind your pet and son.

All I need is your servant, Seungkwan.

 

Wonwoo:

Good luck.

He’s not an easy one.

 

Vernon:

Sure.

Have a nice vacation with your pet, Wonwoo.

No. Take a plane.

 

Vernon:

(He sighed)

Wonwoo:

I made that. I will use that.

Nobody will take that for granted.

Well, you already sneaked in and that’s already a favour.
