Background:

Essa was born in San Francisco, California and grow up there but when she was 6 years old her family has to go back to Korea coz of there business. When she was still in California she was called Eza coz when she was still a kid she became a total fan of a Filipino actress named “Iza Calsado”. When they went back to Korea instead of Eza it became Essa coz Korean alphabet doesn’t have the letter “Z” and since she like it more if people call her by her nickname rather than her given name which is “Youngsun”.  She was not a rebel and she actually loves her family very much but she just hates it when people treat other people differently especially when bullies attack those people who cannot fight back. She despises bullies. Essa is a Fighter and would never back down to any fight, Guy or a girl. She is already addicted to music, sports and books at a young age of 5. She has a friend before who always get bullied and because of that she started hating bullies and would save anyone getting bullied. She totally hate syringe, ghost and bicycle it's because when she was still a kid she would always get sick and the nurse would always inject big needles which made Essa hates it and would do everything not to be injected with another big needle. 

Essa has two siblings and she is the youngest.                                               

The eldest is Ko Hyunri. The responsible one though sometimes can be a bit careless.She is the reason why Essa is love books but you can never call her a nerd coz she is a total fashionista)Hyunri is a stylist who would model her own product. And being the stylist in the family, she would always try and change Essa's fashion. The two would always fight coz Hyunri would always bring up the topic about how horrible Essa’s fashion.

The middle and the only boy is Ko Jae Seung. He is also the sport-minded and Music lover in the family. He is the first one to teach Essa how to play the guitar and other instruments, he also introduced Essa to different sports like Taekwondo, football etc so that Essa could defend herself in difficulties and bullying. Jae Seung or Jason (nickname) is the over-protective kind of brother, not wanting any boys to come near her. Jae Seung loves music just like Essa that's why they get along more but don't get me wrong, the three siblings are very close and if one messes with the other then it is a war. Jae Seung is an engineer.

Ko Tae Sun,Essa's father, is a captain of a famous cruise ship “Royal Caribbean” while Ko Mirah ,Essa's mother, owns several restaurants and hotels in Korea, Singapore, LA, and California

Essa hates bicycle because of one accident when she was still 9 years old.

Ko family were having a vacation that time in the mountain sides.

Essa was trying to learn bicycle on her own so every morning she would wake up early to go to a flat area to practice there.

that place where Essa would practice is very lonely and no people live there but one morning when Essa was practicing on the flat area as always, she thought she saw a cat passed so she pulled the breaks but the breaks wasn't working and she panicked. Essa's bicycle was heading to a corner and she pump into a rock making her fall to the ground. Her chin heats a sharp rock and it made a big opened wound.

Essa didn't faint but she feels like fainting. She has no choice but to stand up and go home but she feels so weak.

The bicycle was broken but Essa still brought it along her.

She walked all the way home with a big wound on her chin dripping blood. 

From where she crash it was far away from her home but she manage because Essa never quit.

When she got home, her cousin saw her with blood dripping from her chin and her cousin fainted because of that.

Her mother saw her and immediately rushes her to the hospital. Because of that Essa earned a 4 stitch in the chin.  And after that, Essa would never ride a bicycle again.

Personality:

A boyish and outgoing girl. Who is very pretty but doesn't believe if people tell her, she would actually laugh if people tell her how pretty she is.

Is easy to make friends with but doesn't like girls that only think about boys and dresses.

Your first impression of her might be something like “arrogant, cold, y, and a trouble maker” but after you get to know her your perspective will change into something like “friendly, humble, no-sense-of-fashion, kind, stubborn” but troublemaker will always stay coz Essa is really a troublemaker but she only looks for one if she thinks someone is suppose to be punish.

Very caring to her friends and family but sometimes can be VERY stubborn. She doesn't like it when people would boss her around. Essa stays humble and kind even with all the blessing she received.

Essa is tomboyish so she would never back-down to any kind of fights, even if it’s a guy or a scary woman.  But she can put her being a trouble maker into a pause if she needs to.

She has awesome vocals that can hit the roof. A great dancer in any league like hip-hop, contemporary, solo, break dance, w/ partner and etc.. She also choreographs her own dances too. She is also good when it comes to instruments, she can play the Guitar, drums, violin, harp, cello, flute, saxophone and some traditional instruments in South Korea. But her favorite is guitar coz Essa likes acoustic music more just like her brother. Her composing ability is not bad too. Essa loves music and everything related to it, MUSIC is her LIFE.

She likes reading books and bracelet and she collects them too. She is also fund of taking pictures and writing short stories with her creative mind.

Good with lots of things but just don’t let her solve Math problems or go to math classes. She LOATHS them, one of her reason why  she loves music and photography so much is because it doesn’t includes math. Make her run for 30 minutes without stopping, maker her write a 1,000 words essay, let her stay in her house for 1 week without going out but just don’t let her solve another math  problem.

Even though her family is very rich and powerful, she and her family is still down to earth and doesn't use her money for fame and is very independent. Doesn’t like boasting about what she has. She hates using money that she didn't work hard for. She wants to prove that not all rich children are bratty and y.

She loves animals and babies especially those cute and pinch-able cheeks.

Her fashion is something like SHIRT-JEANS-CONVERSE type of fashion but her sister Hyunri tries to change it. As I said Essa is tomboyish but don't get me wrong she also has also tried falling inlove with a guy. Too pretty to be a boyish girl. She really hates wearing girly things like skirts, and high heels though if there is no choice she would wear them.

she is very sporty and excel in a lot of sports  and martial arts like Taekwondo, Aikido, Capoeira, football, volleyball, baseball, basketball, ice skating and badminton.

Essa hates bullies so much she would become the bullies of the bullies.

Most people would underestimate her, and would look down on her at first sight since she has such an innocent and vulnerable face. But Essa they don’t know what Essa can do.
