_______’s POV:

                After the Christmas Banquet ended I told L. Joe that I was going to my parent’s house with Sungjong so he didn’t need to drive me.

                “But you had fun though, right?” L. Joe asked.

                I nodded. “Mm. I did.”

                L. Joe pouted. “You don’t seem like you did…”

                I smiled. “I did! Don’t worry about it.”

                L. Joe smiled. “Good. I’ll see you soon, _______.”

                I waved. “Bye, Byunghun-ah.”

                I looked over at the INFINITE boys to see them all crowding into a limo. I was a bit sad, since I looked so pretty today but didn’t even get to spend time with the person whom I wanted to most. I also loved it when he wore suits. And now the night is over. I stood there, playing with a pebble on the wet asphalt.

                “_______.”

                I looked up, my heart skipping a beat at that voice.

                “M-Myungsoo?”

                He grinned, holding out his hand. “Are you coming?”

                “Coming where?”

                “The night’s not over yet. There’s still the tree lighting,” L said.

                “Tree lighting?”

                “Mm. At the local park. All of us are going there, your brother too. Coming?”

                I smiled, seeing as how this was what I’d wanted all along. “Yes, I’d love to.”

                L stuck out his hand towards me and I took it, slipping my hand into his. He held onto it tight and led me towards the limo, where Sungjong and Bomi were already there.

                “WHOOO! Look who Myungsoo brought guys!” Sunggyu hooted.

                “Yah Kim Myungsoo you’d better not be dating her,” Sungjong sneered.

                “I can’t believe we can actually call him Myungsoo again guys,” Dongwoo said.

                “Yah why are you guys holding hands?!” Woohyun cried.

                “She and I would look cuter together, just saying,” Sungyeol said bitterly.

                “Yah Myungsoo I thought you didn’t like her that way,” Hoya said.

                All L did was smirk at these comments as he and I took a seat in the limo. I sat next to Sungyeol and he said hi. I’d always loved him as a friend.

                It was like a party there. BoMi seemed out of place though but for me and the INFINITE boys, it was sort of like a little reunion, except for the fact that I was a girl and that the real Sungjong was actually there.

                We soon reached the tree lighting venue. There was a huge unlit tree set up and many people were already crowded around it. I stood next to L the entire time during the countdown. I didn’t even notice that it was freezing cold because I was so warm and fluffy by just standing by his side. I stood there, looking at his beautiful features again. Just a few months ago, he didn’t even want to talk to me. Now we’re actually somewhat friends, and I just couldn’t believe it.

                L noticed me staring at him and said, “What?”

                Suddenly the bells chimed in the distance, signaling that it was finally the 25^th of December. I smiled and said, “Merry Christmas, Myungsoo oppa.”

                L grinned and put his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to his warm body. I hugged his waist and felt the butterflies in my stomach go off again. L kissed my forehead and rested his chin on the top of my head.

                “Merry Christmas, ______.”
