Hyesung waved, chanted a spell and General Jung Hyuk vanished once more.

"I will send you back to AD 630, a month before General Jung Hyuk was called to the warzone and to stop his brother from Qin."

"So I would remain there for about 2 months?" Well, the mission did not seem difficult and I would be able to return soon. A month in the other dimension was about a day in present time and i would return back in 2 days' time.

"Yes, it should not be too difficult for a beginner. Have you taken your talisman with you?"

I touched the inner pocket of my jacket, "Yes, Teacher."

"Take note, do not use the talisman in front of anyone's presence unless the situation is dire. Understand?"

"Aishi, Teacher. I would easily accomplish my mission even without the use of any spells, charm or summoning. Let's go" I was eager to embark on my maiden voyage for my mission.

Hyesung came and placed a bracelet on my left wrist. "Do not lose this bracelet, else I would not be able to summon you back. You can communicate with me using this bracelet by concentrating hard. All the items required for your mission are also stored inside this bracelet."

I nodded my head as I had seen a similar bracelet on Eric Hyung's right wrist. I will definitely keep it safe for i do not want to spend my life in ancient China (* O *). The mere thought of being stranded in the past sent a shiver down my spine.

"Remember your mission to Tang Dynasty! Do not get involved with anyone in Tang Dynasty because it will complicate matters. This is just an entrustment and do not get too emotionally involved with anyone or anything. If you are in grave dangerous, just communicate with me and I will get you back! Understand?"

I smirked, " Teacher, you really cared so much about me despite being so cold and unapproachable." I lunged forward and hugged Hyesung.

"Stop being so disgusting." Hyesung tried to pull away from my embrace. "I did not want to be a laughing stock if you are incompetent." Finally, Hyesung tore himself from me not before he slipped something in my jeans pocket.

"Stand still" Hyesung pointed his finger on the ground and a circle appeared around my feet. Hyesung closed his eyes and chanted," Father of Time, please open the gate now...."

A golden light seeped from the circle and engulfed me and i could not hear Hyesung anymore. I felt scorching heat and my head felt giddy and I felt like throwing up. So Time travelling is not so enjoyable and I wonder how Eric Hyung endured this for so long.

I believed that I must have lost consciousness and not sure for how long. When I slowly opened my eyes, I felt my body aching badly and my head felt heavy but the nausea feeling was gone. After regaining my sense, I looked around my surrounding and I had a shock.  Why am I in a deserted place? I did not see any sign of civilisation and I saw sands, trees, rocks and some little creatures scurrying about. "Stupid Hyesung, where have you send me to?" I yelled out Hyesung's name cos he was not here anyway. I screamed and hurled a string of profanitites that I could think of at Hyesung. Like as if Hyesung could hear me anyway. I must have cursed and sweared for quite a while because I felt so thirsty when I finally stopped. I quickly felt my inner pocket and thank god, my talismans were there. Thereafter, I raised my left wrist to check if the bracelet was still in tact and I heaved a sign of relief. Suddenly, something appeared when my bracelet glowed and I saw that it was some precious gems, notes and coins. I took a closer look and affirmed that it was the currency of this Tang dynasty. I believed that I could pawn away the gems in exchange for some money as well.

"Great, at least, Hyesung still have a little bit of common sense to provide me with some money. But now, how do I get to Qin, General Jung Hyuk's place huh?" I looked at my bracelet, deciding if I should call Hyesung for help but I decided not to do so. "Come on Dongwan, you are handsome as well as brainy. You are not call the witty guy for nothing. Think hard." I mumbled to myself out in the wild.

I snapped my finger after a great idea came to my head . I pulled out a summoning talisman and started to chant. I had thought of summoning the spirits here to get the information that I needed to know regarding this era, this place etc. The spirits of the dead were easy to be summoned for many of them roamed about because they could not accept that they had died and some of them were not even aware that they were dead. After, I finished chanting, there was a sudden gust of cold wind and my talisman transformed into a hazy figure. The spirit which I had summoned was a young girl about 15 or 16 years old and I stood up and looked at her, doing telepathy communication.

"Are you of this era?"

"Yes, sir."

"Do you know where I could locate a lady called Qin of an official serving in the Imperial Court?"

"Yes, they lived in the big city here, straight down this sandy road."

"It is not that far right?"

"No, you would reach the city in about 4 hours' time by horse carriage."

"What!" I jumped at the last sentence and I slapped my forehead. 4 hours of ride away. I started a second round of profanity at Hyesung and i was really furious.

"......"

"Right. Thank you for your help. You may go off now." I chanted another spell and pointed at the spirit. In an instant, she disappeared and my talisman floated back to me. I tilted my head at the skies and felt like crying. It was going to be dark soon and a gust of wind blew and I clutched my jacket tighter. I looked down at my attire, I am wearing a white turtle neck top and jeans and I knew immediately that I needed to buy a set of clothings when I reached the big city. My attire was out of place here.

I sighed and started walking along the sandy path and wondered how long would I get to the big city by foot. While I was wondering, I heard horses running behind me and I turned around. Not far away, I saw dust flying about and I could make out that someone was riding a horse at a fast speed towards me. I smiled at my luck. Maybe, I could hitch a ride from the kind soul.
