I went to Jeonghwan’s school to fetch him. It’s raining really hard. I tried to fix my posture to face my son like nothing happened.

I thanked the driver and went out the taxi. Dang. I forgot, I don’t have an umbrella.

I saw my son standing in the bus stop. Good thing there shade in the bus stop there.

I run towards him, ignoring the rain. I was wet anyway. Jeonghwan saw me and waved.

“ Umma! “ He looked at me worriedly

“ Umma, your wet “ I looked at myself, I’m really wet from the rain.

*cough* *cough* I started to cough now. It’s really cold. I should take a bath.

Jeonghwan and I arrived at home. I was dripping wet when I entered our house.

“ Jeonghwan, you should take a bath now okay? “ I said as I gave Jeonghwan his bag

“ Neh umma “ Jeonghwan carried his bag and went to his room.

I was shivering. I carefully went to our bathroom to take a warm bath.

As I undress myself and opened the shower, many thoughts came to my mind.

How am I going to talk to Kris? What should I do? I really don’t know.

Should I just ignore him? Should I tell him something or? Ugh. I was frustrated.

I should do something

When I was done taking a bath, I went down stairs to prepare our dinner.

I looked at the clock.

*8:05pm*

I went to the kitchen and started cooking.

I heard Jeonghwan coming downstairs.

“ Umma? “

“ neh jeonghwan? Umma is cooking “ I answered, not looking away from what I’m doing.

“ Umma can you help me with my homework? “

I putted down what I’m holding and turned to look at jeonghwan holding his pen and book .

I smiled sweetly at him

“ okay “

We sat at the chair and he gave me his pen.

“ Let’s see, uhm. 2x2? You just need to double—“

I haven’t finished my explanation when we heard the front door opens.

“ Appa! “ Jeonghwan ran to Kris for a hug.

I quickly looked down and focused on what I’m teaching jeonghwan.

But I van’t help but to glance at him

“ Hi there baby, what are you doing? “ I saw kris carried Jeonghwan.

“ Umma is teaching me my homework “

Our eyes met. I stood up and prepared our table.

“ But umma is busy, why don’t appa do it? “ Kris suggested.

“ Okay appa. “

They went to the kitchen and they sat there.

“ Is this your homework? “ I heard Kris say.

“ Uhmm. “

I can feel Kris gaze.

I turned to put the dished on the table, Kris looked at me. He was about to say something but I interrupted him.

“ Later, We should eat first. “ The sudden change of my voice and attitude made Jeonghwan scared.

The dinner was quiet as I expected.

After our dinner, Kris was at Jeonghwan’s room.

So I decided to go to our room.

I sat there.

What should I do?

My heart nearly drop when I saw kris coming inside.

He closed the door and stand there.

He looked at me.

I stood up and looked at him coldly.

“ S-so, is she? “

“ Yes. “ He answered me quickly.

“ how long kris? “

“ a year. “

Even though his answers are short but it ripped my heart.

“ W-why? “ my voice was trembling.

“ ~~ah, were not the same anymore “

His voice was different. He seems to be a different person.

No, no. Kris. I still Love you.

I closed my eyes and breathed heavily.

“ K-k-kris, D-do you still love me? “

There was a long silence.

I heard him Sighed.

“ Look ~~ah I know i---“

“ D-Do you Still Love Me Kris? “ My tears poured down.

Say you still love me Kris.

“ I don’t Love you anymore ~~ah. I-I’m sorry “

No.

No. You still love me Kris.

I fell on my knees, I broke down. I cried hard.

Why? Why? What wrong did I do?

“ W-why Kris?! What wrong did I do? “ I shouted at him. I felt numb.

I feel so desperate

He seems shocked at my sudden outburst.

“ it’s not you ~~ah. It’s me! “

He angrily said.

I know he is just controlling himself.

I heard banging on our door.

“Umma! Appa!” Our son shouted.

Kris clenched his fist and tried to calm himself.

“ W- we can’t continue this anymore ~~ah. We should Divorce “

He didn’t looked at me.

No.

I don’t want Kris.

I build up my courage and strength to stand up.

I was distracted from the loud banging on our door.

Jeonghwan

I looked at him.

“ No Kris. I won’t let that happen to our family. i love you Kris. I know you love me too. You’re just confuse right now. We can fix this. “

“ No ! you don’t understand! I don’t love you anymore! I love hyuna! Wake up ~~ah! We’re not the same anymore! We should divorce~~ah! “

“ I’ll ask you Kris. *sigh* Me or Hyuna ?“

I waited for his answer. Tears continues to fall from my eyes.

“ Hyuna” he answered me straightly

I felt someone ripped my heart apart. Hearing this from someone you truly love.

He’s different

This is not kris. I moved back a bit. And shook my head at his unbelievable words.

Fine. My decision is Final.

I sighed heavily.

“ If this what you want. I’ll let you be with Hyuna this time—“ I paused

I heard Jeonghwan cried.

“ Umma!! “

“ But I’ll not give up on us Kris. I’ll make you fall in love with me again.” With a heavy heart, I went outside the room and as soon as I went out, I saw Jeonghwan with tears in his eyes.

“ Umma!! “ He cried.

Just hearing our son cries, makes my heart broke.

I quickly hugged him and whispered something in his ears.

“ Pack your things honey “

He looked at me

“ Why umma? “

“ Just do it “

He quickly ran to his room. I followed him.

I helped him pack his things that he need.

I held his hand and carried his bag

And we went towards the main door and I made jeonghwan wear his jacket

Kris went out of the room and saw us

“ What are you doing ~~ah! “ He shouted at me.

I tried to ignore him and went outside with my son.

The rain haven’t stop yet. It was raining really hard.

Kris followed us and tried to prevent us from leaving.

He held my wrist harshly.

“ Are you out of your mind! “

“YES! I’m out of my mind kris! And it’s because of YOU! Let us go Kris! “

“ you’re not bringing my son anywhere ~~ah! You two go back in the house! “

I remove his hands and ignored him. I held Jeonghwan closer to me.

A taxi stopped in front of us and I let Jeonghwan went inside first. Kris was shouting at us.

And looked at him

He is soaked in the rain.

KRIS POV

I went back inside our house. I was soaked in the rain.

I frustratingly pulled my hair and searched for my phone.

I quickly dialed hyuna’s number.

*Ring ring*

“ Yoboseyo? Kris? “
