Kyuhyun sat there as memories from the incident keep flooding his mind. He couldn’t think about anything but the accident.

He couldn’t stop the tears that were now falling down his face. He wasn’t crying for Ryeowook, but rather for himself. He cried for the pain he had to endure, the fear of dying, and the fear of death.

Kyuhyun cried as he recalled what happened that day.

*Flashback (Kyuhyun’s POV)*

“Thanks for your hard work,” Leeteuk hyung thanked the backup dancers as we head outside the practice room.

We just practiced for our comeback. Super Junior was having a comeback this June and Don’t Don was the title track.

Ever since this afternoon, we’ve been preparing for the single. We also had vocal practice early this morning.

We had schedules since this morning and everyone was tired. I couldn’t wait until we get to the dorm and hit the showers. It was hot and I can smell my sweat.

We were tired and talked mindlessly with one another as we waited for our manager to pick us up.

“Okay... you guys listen up,” Leeteuk hyung said as he gathered the members together.

Everyone gathered around Leeteuk hyung as he continued saying, “Our comeback is coming soon. As long as we practice diligently, the whole problem right now with the fans will go down. Let’s show them the best that we could do. I have a feeling Don’t Don will be a success. Let’s just do our best okay?”

“What’s up with your pep talk hyung? We aren’t filming anything right now. It’s just us,” Shindong hyung said.

“Yeah... I’m tired. Why are you talking about this nonsense?” Heechul hyung asked.

“It’s not nonsense. I’m talking about this because remember how President Lee announced that Super Junior isn’t a project group anymore? We have to work together because Super Junior won’t be a rotational group anymore. We should also celebrate having a new member in our group. We can show our fans how we can work together as one despite how big our group is,” Leeteuk said to the members.

Although I didn’t say anything, I couldn’t help but bite my inner cheek to prevent myself to cry. It was the first time that Leeteuk hyung, or anyone accepted or even acknowledged me as part of Super Junior.

“I hope the ELFs can calm down though. Didn’t the president tell them that no one was getting removed in Super Junior? They are being very harsh to Kyuhyun,” Eunhyuk stated.

“That’s why we should prove it to them that Kyuhyun is part of Super Junior. We aren’t Super Junior05 anymore, but rather Super Junior. Let’s just do our best and show them all we’ve got. So those members who don’t have late schedules go home and sleep early. Eunhyuk, Shindong, Kyuhyun and I still have Sukira to go to so we’ll take the smaller van. Don’t get into trouble,” Leeteuk hyung dismissed the other members as our manager arrived.
