D.O. wandered from street to street, the road turning and intertwining with each other making his head spin from the unfamiliarity of it all. Street lights blared in his eyes making him bump into other people that walked up and down the busy night streets of the city. With Kai hanging on his shoulder his balance was even more off. Despair began to creep into his mind until he noticed where he was. This place. This is where we first found Savior. D.O. looked at his surroundings as if to confirm his questions. Eyes darting from one end of the now lonely street lit by only one street lamp, his imagination replayed the scenes of that night when the guardians found you. It was thousands of years ago, but the Earth was still the same. Exact road bumps and pot holes, same one street light, same building that Baekhyun jumped down from to catch your falling body in his arms. The memories flashing back to him made him feel nostalgic of the past.

‘Hey Kai,’ the guardian started to say his voice quivering as if he was about to cry, ‘Do you remember? This is where we met our Savior. This is where all us guardians were together. We got along back then right? You and Luhan hyung didn’t hate each other. Me and Duizhang….. we got along pretty well.’ D.O. gave a small smile.

‘This is where I also found you. Savior. When I first saw you. Did you know how fast my heart was racing at your beauty? Even when in danger you still looked breath taking. Now where are you? How can I find you?’ D.O. said looking up the lonely path. He found his feet heading closer and closer to the old apartment you lived in. Walking up the two flights of stairs with Kai on his back he felt as if he was going back in time when the 13 of you all lived together. Although the time was short D.O. knew that you’d engraved yourself into all the guardians’ hearts. Even now, after thousands of years he still remembered the exact door he would need to go towards to get him to where your old apartment room was.

*Eight more steps.* D.O. thought and then reached the front door that had a colorful whiteboard with to girl’s names written on it hanging on the magnetic door that was also covered with fast food coupons and advertisements.

‘Hey Kai, someone lives here now. Do you think they’d mind if we went and took a tour?’ D.O. asked his unconscious friend. Hesitantly he raised his right hand rolling it into a fist and knocked, heart pumping, anticipating the change that the room would have experienced since years past.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Then he felt it as the heavy door in front of him creaked open.
