Ricky frantically scans both directions looking for Jonghyun’s elder brother that had dashed out of the hospital after the shocking revelation. But all he could see were just several patients and some nurses hanging around in the garden in the sunny mid afternoon. Biting down his lower lip as a worried expression danced upon his furrowed eyebrows, the boy continued his search further into the garden before finally finding Byunghun huddled on the ground beside a green park bench.

“Hyung... Are you okay?”

Well Ricky clearly knew Byunghun wasn’t okay judging from the previous commotion and of course the boy’s current facial expressions but it didn’t actually hurt to ask since he didn’t really know how to approach the boy in any other way.

Byunghun hastily wipes his endlessly falling tears away in a fluster as he nodded quickly and was about to stand up when he crumbled onto the ground. The boy let out an audible gasp when he realized he couldn’t feel his legs at all. Trembling, he slowly reached out to Ricky and held him by his left arm, shaking it to get Ricky’s attention.

“I can’t… I can’t get up… I can’t feel my legs and I have a history of spinal injury.” As a doctor himself, Byunghun knew how serious it can get if he can’t feel his lower half out of the blue when he has ever suffered a trauma in his spinal nerves.

Ricky eyes widened as he grabbed onto Byunghun by his shoulders tightly and leaned him on his chest before reaching to his back, lifting up his shirt and pressed on the various acupoints.

“I’m not a doctor yet but I’m a medical student with proper training so I’m just going to check you first alright.” The younger was all focused as he felt around Byunghun’s back.

Frowning deeply in concentration, he finally pulled Byunghun’s shirt back down and frantically looked for a nurse or a doctor nearby. His deductions from the simple check wasn’t exactly pleasing so he knew they should get the elder checked thoroughly in the hospital. Thankfully Myungsoo had also made his way out to see if Ricky needed help finding Byunghun since they both haven’t returned for some time and happened to bump into the duo on the floor.

“I’m sorry hyung-nim could you help me carry Byunghun hyung? I suspect his spinal nerves has been injured again so we need a doctor to check him as soon as possible.”
