Oh my god! I just got back from watching TFIOS and oh my feels TT_TT I already read the novel until the part where Augustus died but haven’t finish it so I still don’t know how the novel ends but when I watched the movie just now, I feel like I was Hazel Grace reading ‘An Imperial Affection’ where it just end like that. 

 

So here I am, typing down the next chapter because I’m hungry (I’m munching cheezels while typing this) and I just can’t get enough of Augustus Waters. He makes me want to have a boyfriend! Just like him!

Kai eyes widened when he heard the three precious words escaped Haru’s lips. He looked straight into her eyes and noticed she is having a relieved expressions. 

 

“What did you just said?” 

 

Haru smiles and slightly grasped his hand where he his coat has slightly cover it. “Please wait until the event end and let’s have a talk. Please stay in my sight.” 

 

With that, Haru left him and soon he saw Sehun enter the hall with her. 

 

Jongin sighed. It’s going to be a hard work to keep staying in the hall together with them. Obviously they will act like a married couple. He smirked, they are a married couple after all.

 

 

 

Sehun put his hand behind her waist, making Haru turns her head towards him. “What?” He smiled. “You look happy seeing him.” She nodded, “I do in fact. He is just so handsome Sehun ah!” Haru then giggled. “Yah, how dare you praised another guy in front of your husband?” 

 

She playfully hits his chest. “Who told you to dyed your hair to pink?” 

 

They both continue to act like a married couple in front of the guests. Well, in fact they don’t have to, they just comfortable with each other so whatever they displayed right now it’s their true act. 

 

“Hello Mrs. Goh.” Haru slightly bows her head and Sehun joined her. The old woman smiles upon seeing both of them. Mrs. Goh is one of their mom acquaintances that actually known them since they were kids. 

 

“Hello both of you.” She pats Haru hand and takes Sehun hand, she then put Sehun’s hand on top of his wife. “I always know you two will end up together. I have seen they way Sehun care for you when you were kids, his eyes always so loveable when he is around you.” 

 

Sehun shook his head while smirking, his pink hair shine when the light rays hit his hair. “Oh Mrs. Goh, I always have love Haru.” 

 

Haru smiles and puts her head on her husband shoulder for a brief moment. “really Mrs. Goh? I couldn’t remember at all since the memories where he always bullied me filled my thoughts.” 

 

Sehun makes a face before three of them laugh together. 

 

From a far, Jongin who casually drinking his glass of wine frowned when he saw how happy Sehun and Haru is. He can’t deny the fact that they do have chemistry between them. Sehun completes Haru and vice versa. So where did he fits in? He glances over the direction where both of them stand just now. He saw both of them are talking with each other after the old lady left. Jongin eyes met with Sehun which the latter gave him a small nod as acknowledgement. He raised his glass of wine. 

 

However when he switch his gaze, he quickly saw Haru, the pretty Haru is walking towards him with a dazzling smile on her face. 

 

“Busy?” She greets him. He shook his head. “So you ready to talk?” He gestured towards the door that will lead them to the garden, “Let’s talk outside. Your role has finished is it?” 

 

The lady nodded her head before walking towards the door first. Kai soon followed. 

 

 

Once they both were seated on the high quality wooden bench right in front of the colourful fountains, Haru threw her arms around Kai and buried her face at the crook of Kai’s neck. 

 

He is startled and his arms half raised, unable to decide whether he should returns her hug or not. However, when she buried her face at the crook of his neck, Kai immediately returns the hug. 

 

Who am I kidding? I miss her too much!

 

 

They both stayed in silence and in each other embraced for almost three minutes when Kai let go of her. 

 

“What are you doing Haru? You are married with Sehun.” He sighed. He never knew to state the fact verbally is a tough work to do.  He saw how she puts her hand on his left knee. 

 

“Jongin. Kai.” 

 

He looks up. 

 

“My Kai, I love you.” Then her eyes filled with tears and Kai think his eyes too because he is looking at Haru right now and all he can is blur image. 

 

Haru saw Kai eyes is getting teary and she couldn’t help but to laugh a bit. “Why are you crying too silly? You are pregnant too?” She reaches his cheek and wipes away the tears that escaped from his beautiful eyes. 

 

“I’m sorry I take a long time and not suitable place to say this. I acted like Sehun girlfriend for a reason that I can’t tell you however I can promise you, I never have any feeling towards him except I love him as my best friend. And I married him because we accidentally had one night stand. I know it’s ridiculous but we end up spending the night together. Kai, Sehun is like another piece of me -not in romantic way of course.” She quickly corrected her sentence when Kai is raising his eyebrows. 

 

“I love you since high school Kai. I unknowingly love you in between the time where we exchange letter although I know you were thinking SooJung who actually wrote those letters.” 

 

He puts his hand on top of Haru’s. “And I love you from the moment I learned the truth about who is the one exchanging all the letters with me. I’m sorry for hurting you back then. I couldn’t handle the truth and when I did, I learned two things.” He puts his another hand on her cheek, caressing it with so much love. 

 

“One is I’m in love with you. Two, I hurt you and Sehun is the lucky guy who got to be by your side.” 

 

“It’s okay now. We are together now don’t we?” Haru nuzzled towards Kai’s hand on her cheek. “Just wait for another eight months Kai.” 

 

He questioningly looks at her. 

 

“It’s a secret between us actually. But Sehun and I will file a divorce when the baby is born. I want to be with you.”

 

“What about Sehun?” 

 

“There is someone who is waiting for him already.” 

 

 

 

 

Sehun saw Jongin and Haru left the hall together and he couldn't help but to smile. She is finally chasing her love.  He grabs a glass of wine from the waiter who just passed him, drinking it in one gulp before put it back on the steel tray. 

 

His eyes accidentally glances towards the hall entrance and widened when he saw who is actually standing by the door. 

 

“Luhan.” He breathes out. Just like on cue, at the same time, Luhan is glancing towards his direction and they have their own gazing moment at that exact time. 

 

Sehun smiles when he saw him, making his way towards his boyfriend and pulls him into his embrace. 

 

“I miss you.” Luhan said between his smile. He can feel Sehun nodded his head too. “Me too Luhan. Me too.” 

 

 

 

 

Going back home together, Sehun and Haru happily sing along to their favourite song. Both of them have a great moment at the event just now and seem couldn’t wipe off that happy grin on their face. 

 

“Luhan came by just now.” 

 

“I know.” She grinned. 

 

“What? How?”

 

“I invited him. As your birthday present.” 

 

Sehun smiles happily. “Thank you.” 

 

“Anything for you my hubby.” 

 

 

 

 

“Sehun, I’m going out with Kai.” 

 

She yelled from the kitchen when she heard their bedroom door close and when her ears caught that stepping down from the stairs sound. Sehun soon revealed himself at the kitchen door. She glanced towards him and laughed out loud. “You are so ugly!” 

 

 

Ignoring her remarks, he said, “Just be careful Haru. I don’t want another rumour rise.” He takes a seat at the dining table and Haru serves him his morning coffee. Taking a sip, he then saw Haru is taking another plate before placing his sandwiches on it. He knew that was his because he saw the amount of tomato slices under the wholemeal bread. Haru always put extra slices of tomato in his sandwiches because she knew he will not eat any tomato except with his sandwiches. 

 

So you see, Haru has been a patient friend with Sehun all this while. 

 

“What time will you go out? And why you only serving my breakfast? Where's yours?” 

 

She smiled. “I’m going to have breakfast with Kai.” Just when she finished talking, the front door bell rings. “Oh! must be him!” 

 

She wraps one arm around Sehun neck before rushing to the living room to grab her tote bag and quickly opens the door. Revealing Kai in his casual clothes smiling brightly when Haru face greets him. 

 

“I’m going now Sehun.” 

 

“Arasseo. Have fun!”

 

He then heard the loud door bang sound. Sehun sighed. 

 

 

 

 

They were just finished eating their breakfast and now in the mall, after spending some time at the park. When they are walking aimlessly, Kai has suggested her to buy some baby stuffs and she couldn’t agree more. 

 

“I always want to come here with Sehun but he always busy and I’m busy too.” She said while walking along the aisle. Kai is right behind her, busily looking at the baby stuffs. 

 

“What colour do you want to buy for your baby?” Kai asked when he shows her two piece of baby clothes. One is pink colour and another one is blue colour. She grunted in reply. “That is so cliche. Blue for boy and pink for girl.” She complained. 

 

“Yah, don’t complained. Just pick one. We have to choose the shoes too later.” 

 

Haru laughed. “Why it seems like you are so eager on buying this?”

 

“Because the baby will be my baby too in the future. What is yours is mine.” Kai softly answered. “This is the only thing I can do for the baby since I’m the reason why he or she won’t be together living under one roof to see he or she grow up.” 

 

Haru face grew soft. “Don’t blame yourself Kai.” She takes a step closer to Kai. “It’s not your fault. It’s Sehun and my fault.” Haru takes two clothes in Kai grip. “I take both. Although I have the feeling that my baby is a girl.” She smiles warmly. “I wait for you at the counter, you go pick the shoes.” 

 

Kai leaned in and planted a surprise kiss on her cheek while Haru later just covers her face in embarrassment.

 

 

 

 

Little did they know, SooJung is just right outside from the baby store, looking at them from outside through the glass window. Her grips on her shopping bags tighten when she realised Haru and Jongin end up marrying each other during her absence.

 

"That is why Sehun told her Haru is happy right now?"

 

 

 

“Where’s Haru, Sehun?” 

 

“What do you want from her? She is happy right now. Don’t disturb her.” 

 

“Well, I just want to apologise to her and to take back what is mine.”

 

“Haru steals nothing from you.”

 

“Oh please, that sneaky little b!tch stole my Jongin and I come back just to take him back! Kim Jongin is mine! ”
