I'm so sorry. I should have posted this chapter sooner but I was hit by depression and trust me, during those time, you don't want to do anything except killing yourself. I'm sorry for the negative vibe I'm giving out but hey, I'm alive here :)

“Where were you last night?” 

 

Sehun looked up from his book and stared at Luhan’s face. They are at the library since Sehun wants to check some his medical textbook. 

 

“At home.” 

 

Luhan takes out his iPhone and shows him all the calls that he made to him last night. “You don’t pick up. Why?”

 

Sehun rubbed his face before pushing down Luhan hand. “I accidentally fall asleep okay. I’m sorry.” He doesn’t know why, but he doesn’t want to tell Luhan that Haru was with him last night. 

 

“Arasseo. Just don’t do it again okay. How’s your love story so far?” 

 

Sehun grinned. “We had planned it perfectly. I’m sure our parent won’t even know about it.” He held Luhan’s hand. “I’m sorry you have to tolerate with this matter.” Looking around and noticed everybody is too busy checking their book, Sehun takes the picture book that Luhan took just now and cover both of them from people view. 

 

“Wha-”

 

Luhan smiled before reply Sehun kiss. That milky skin boy has attacked him with his passionate kiss and he gladly respond to it. Luhan grab the chance by circling his arm behind Sehun neck, to deepen the kiss. He rarely show his affection in front of the public, so he knows he must use this chance well. 

 

Forced to end their kissing session because of the uneven breath, Sehun can see the blushing cheek that Luhan have and Luhan is glad to see Sehun is breathless as him as well. 

 

He then reached out his hand and ruffles his boyfriend blonde hair. 

 

“Saranghae”

 

“Na du”

 

 

 

 

Haru always spend some alone time at the park. She is a sport girl and every outdoor activities can make her feel energetic and pumped up and sometimes she takes that as her own way to release her tension wether from studying or sometimes, life. 

 

Inserting her white earphone on each of her ear, she bend down to tighten her shoe lace because having to stop while you have the good moment from running and only to stop to tie your shoe lace is so annoying. 

 

After it seems two rounds and a half, Haru finally come to a stop. She takes her time in slow walk before landed herself on the grass. Sitting with her earphone still plug in and her bottle of water. 

 

“Hey!” 

 

Her shoulders jumped up when someone’s hand touched her shoulder. She quickly turns around and surprised to see the guy. 

 

“Hey Luhan.” 

 

Luhan smiles. “Fancy meeting you here.”

 

She nodded her head. Haru then scanned Luhan outfit. He’s wearing a red sport shoes, knee length sweat pants and a simple design sweater but damn, he still looks nice. Luhan is very handsome. 

 

“You always come here?” 

 

For once, Haru doesn’t want to talk about Sehun. Because she doesn’t want to feel that their friendship is caused by that blonde guy. Before Luhan knew Sehun, he is her friend. The friend that successfully enters her life and helps to ‘cure’ her shyness towards the species called ‘guy’. 

 

Luhan seems to noticed it too because before this, her first question will be ‘don’t go out a date with Sehun?’. He smiles and nodded his head. “Only when I think I need to maintain my stamina.” 

 

Haru then chuckled. “So you have the stamina tracker or something?” “Yeah. You can download it at the Apps Store.” He makes a face. She playfully punches his arm before sighing. “The new semester is coming in two weeks more.” 

 

“Luckily we still got in the same class.” 

 

 

The day when Sehun texted her saying their exam result has come out at their school website, Haru has thrown away everything she is doing at that time and quickly switched on her MacBook, she has been studying really hard this time and hopefully she can secured herself on Top 5 list. 

 

“Lee Haru, 3.90, 3rd Place.”

 

It’s not her who read it aloud, but it was her father. She is too shocked to see her pointer as well as she got the third place in her department. She quickly got on the phone with Sehun and she couldn’t feel more happy when she got to know the her best friend as well as his boyfriend have an excellent result too. 

 

Well, Sehun always achieved good result. He never failed one paper since the day he enrolled at their university. Meanwhile she always have one or two paper that she failed that semester and she always need to spend her semester break short since she need to do a short semester to cover up her failed paper. 

 

 

Haru turns to Luhan while her hand busily wrapping her earphone around her right hand. “Luhan,” the doe eyes guy turns to her. “are you seriously okay with this?” 

 

“With what?”

 

“Me, being Sehun girlfriend.” 

 

Picking up few stones that carelessly in front of Luhan, he threw it a few in the small lake before let out a sigh. And at that sigh, Haru knew, Luhan is not comfortable at all. “You know, I have warned you before.”

 

“I know,” He is now plucking the innocent grass around him. “But I don’t want to lose him Haru. I seriously in love with him. So in order for me to keep him by my side. I have to do this. I have to sacrifice.” 

 

“I swear, if Kai is doing the same thing to me, I will kill him.”

 

Luhan raised his eyebrow. “Kai?”

Haru immediately is blushing. She just realised that she just blurted out Kai’s name. “I just giving out the example.” She then peeks at the guy in front of her. “Yeah, I like that guy, still. That’s why I’m willing to do it with Sehun.” “What?” “He must accept Kai as my friend if he wants my help.” 

 

 

 

Kim Jongin, the only son of Kim Takgu and Shin MiYoung. His parent has been an active donator to various school in South Korea, from kindergarten to University. However Jongin seems like he won’t be following his parent footsteps, as in to be a respected person in education world as he is more interest in painting and eventually doing a freelance job around the world. He might be not famous like a K-pop idol, but he’s good in whatever he is doing and he is recognised worldwide in his area.

 

Luckily his parent is okay with his decision. So he gets to do whatever he wants to do. 

 

The vibration coming from his silenced phone has interrupt his painting session which has started from four in the morning and now is four o’clock, no wonder his stomach has been making funny noises. He flicked some button on the phone screen. Upon reading the text message he received just now, he smiled happily before tossed it on his bed and get ready to go out.    

 

 

Inside the cafe, Haru has been fidgeted on her seat. She has taken the first step in asking him to join her to have lunch since her parent had went out for a date without telling her. Nobody is cooking dinner and she doesn’t feel like she wants to cook tonight. Usually, she will simply call Sehun and that guy will come to pick her up. But after her sweet morning date with Luhan this morning, she thinks that she should not seek for Sehun unless it’s for their ‘secret mission’. Thus, she decided to text Kai and ask him if he wants to eat ‘late lunch early dinner’ with her. 

 

Looking around the cafe and finally settle her eyes on the road outside the cafe, her eyes quickly spotted a guy, wearing black glasses while walking alone. That bastard is so handsome. She mentally chuckled. Kai is giving out the ‘I got swag and I know I’m handsome. So step aside please’  vibe again. However, she knew, Kai is everything but that. Compared to Sehun, of course that blonde wins, Kai can never wins Sehun cold face but he is winning at the second place. 

 

 

Good looking bastard. She scoffed.

 

 

Just when she said that, Kai suddenly landed his gaze on her. She thought he will act goofy or maybe she will raise up her hand however, Kai stops from walking and just stand there, watching her. Surprisingly, she returned his eye contact and they both just stared into each other eyes. 

 

“Saranghae” 

 

Haru whispers, following Kai lips movement. She couldn’t help but to smile and soon her cheeks turn its colour. 

 

The ringing bell sound when someone enters the cafe. Kai scanned the place and saw Haru is alone at the table. 

 

Good, no Sehun. 

 

Instead of sitting beside Haru, Kai chooses to sit in front of her. He likes to sit in front of her, that makes him can see her face more and that will be the best because he realised that he always want to have skinship with her. And that is bad. 

 

“Hi.” 

 

Haru smiles. “Hi.” 

 

Soon, a waitress come to their table ready to take their order. 

 

 

 

They didn’t exchange any conversation during their ‘late lunch early dinner’ session though but the eye contact is more than enough for him. Once they finished eating, Kai offered to pay but Haru stops him, saying “I’m the one who asked you out so I will be the one paying.” 

 

He grinned, “Should have ordered the most expensive in here instead.” Haru playfully kicked his leg. 

 

 

After went out from the cafe, they both agree to spend some time at the Han River before going back home. Hopping the bus that come as soon as they reached the station, Kai is glad his T-Money card still have some money in it. He eyed the girl in front of her and couldn’t help but to wonder why she is being so silent today. On contrary, she looks so cute with the shirt that has the same tone colour with his shirt, it almost looks like they are wearing couple shirt and wait, is she wearing make up? Kai duck his head to see her face more clearly, but Haru turns her head at the same time. 

 

Getting off the bus, Kai looks at Haru wondering what is bothering her mind. 

 

 

 

 

 

“Ah! It’s always so refreshing here!” Haru yelled while open wide her arm. Turning her body she smiles when she saw Kai is buying drinks for both of them. 

 

Everything about Kai is fascinating her today. How he looks when he just arrived at the cafe, how he stared at her eyes before he enter the cafe, how she secretly likes Kai to sit in front of her instead of beside her and more. Everything that Kai does today just increases her feelings towards that boy. 

 

“So you want to talk?” 

 

Haru gulped. She slowly turns to him, immediately saw that guy has been staring at her. She couldn’t help but to nodded. 

 

“Let’s give us a try.” 

 

Kai eyes widened at the statement. “What?” “I said, let’s give us a try.” 

 

He is confused. All this time, she had been nothing but rejecting his request on getting back together with him and now she suddenly said this? She scans his face and wonder why Kai is not being happy or excited. 

 

“You are not interested in me anymore?” 

 

Upon hearing that, Kai couldn’t help but to chuckle. “I’m just confused.” 

 

“Confused why?”

 

“In case you forget, you are rejecting me Lee Haru for the past few weeks.” He saw the girl nodded her head. “Unless you are still having feeling for me all this time.”

 

He laughed when he saw how her cheek suddenly blushing. “You do huh? But you still have that guts to reject me. Wow…” He shook his head. “You are a rock head.” 

 

She giggled upon remembering Kai nickname to her. Actually, it was from SooJung but when Kai start to use it, SooJung become jealous and stops using it. “Yeah, I am a rock head.” 

 

She then shifted her body in front, taking a deep breath while enjoying her view. 

 

Suddenly she felt a familiar hand on top of her head. Instead of turning her head and to face Kkamjong, she nuzzled to his hand, his warm hand.

 

 

 

“I’m willing to give Kai a chance.”

 

“I can’t protest right?” 

 

“You don’t have a choice.”

 

“I hate you Lee Haru.”
