Sehun made a left turn into a secret driveway. I looked over at him confused to why he turned away from the isolated road.

“Where are we going?” I look out my window seeing nothing my trees and side hills unsure where this path goes. He doesn’t respond “Sehun?”

He kept driving deeper in and I was getting a little worried because I knew how bizarre he can be and he never cared for consequences so it was hard to point out what he was up to this time.

“Do you even know where we’re going?” He ignored me “Is this place even legal?” again, no response “Sehun!”

He remains quiet and turns the volume to the music up so I won’t be heard anymore. I’m pretty sure it was his intention to do that so I can stop asking questions.

“Funny” I shout sarcastically over the music

Sehun finally came to a stop and parked his car. He smiled over at me and got out and I had no choice but to follow him. Once I stepped out I looked closely at my surroundings. There was an open gap overlooking nothing but landscape.

“What is this place?” I ask

He walked over where a big rock rested and he sat on top of it. As I walked over to his direction I continued staring at what he was looking but I saw nothing over the cliff.

“Just sit down Cheon” He lightly chuckles

I sigh and roll my eyes. I put a strand of hair behind my left ear and force my steps towards him. After sitting down I glanced over at Sehun, he was quiet looking out at the open night sky. I eventually end up following his gaze not understanding why we’re here. My eyes squint over out at Seoul hiding in a distance where the land and night sky meet.

I smirk at how beautiful it looked up here “So I’m guessing you’ve been here before?”

He doesn’t reply but I can tell just by staring at him that I was right.

“Cool” I try controlling my smile from getting bigger “I know your secret place”

I look away quietly giggling and my eyes go back to admiring how beautiful the starry night is.

“How did you find this spot?”

He sits there quietly and I hear him exhale a deep breath out.

I quickly add “You know what? It’s okay. You don’t have to tell me.”

I don’t know what it was but I had a feeling he didn’t want to talk about it, like how he didn’t want to talk about most things. I’ve come to realization that he will never give me answers and as curious and frustrating that will be, I learned to accept it. I decided to not question why he brought me here neither. Instead I just took everything all in. We sat there in silence and strangely it was comforting.

The morning came and I laid there in my bed still covered in my sheets thinking about last night. I was really content that there was nothing between Yura and Sehun. It brought a huge grin on my face that soon got buried into my pillow. I pull myself back and turn over facing the ceiling as my stomach started to flutter at the thought of him.

My phone begins to vibrate and my heart gets excited when I see it’s from Sehun.

Even though he didn’t give me an answer waking up to his text just started my day off right. I finally got up from bed and washed up.

Sunday wasn’t any different. We had our family brunch outside the patio with the view overlooking the city in a good distance. It reminded me of the hidden place Sehun took me to last night and I couldn’t help but smile to the thought of it.

“What’s going on?” Euaerin breaks away my thoughts “There’s something different about you?”

I look over at her and my dad “What?”

“I don’t know?” She smiles “Don’t you see it honey?”

My dad observes me as he chews on his breakfast “She still looks beautiful to me?” He smiles “Maybe even more than usual.”

I raise my eyebrows unsure what she meant, I looked different?

“Couldn’t agree more, you’re really glowing today” She pauses “Who’s the boy?”

I tried preventing myself to choke on my fresh orange juice and I managed to slightly. I wasn’t sure how to even answer her. I wasn’t sure how she was able to tell?

She smiles “Well, why don’t you bring him for the Charity event this coming weekend?”

I chuckle under my breath, like if Sehun would ever agree to. “I’ll see.”

Saerin and Kyungri dragged me to Coex Mall to buy new outfits. They went on and on about last night and laughing at everything they remember. I walked silently listening to them.

“Wait” Kyungri changes the subject “Did you notice that Sehun and Hayoung went missing?”

“Oh yeah, I remember them saying goodbye to us” She replies sarcastically

I couldn’t help but to laugh. I get it. They were upset that I didn’t tell them I was leaving.

“Shouldn’t you guys be used to me leaving?” I smile

She quickly adds “Yeah, but not with the hottest guy in school”

Kyungri turns over at Saerin “What about Chanyeol?”

“One of the hottest guys in school” She corrects herself

“Where did you guys go?” Kyungri asks

Saerin follows right after “How did you guys even end up leaving together?”

I didn’t know how to tell them so I didn’t say anything.

Saerin gasps “You like him don’t you little ?”

“No” I lie because I didn’t want her to be match maker. I didn’t want to express my feelings to him yet. I wasn’t ready to confess.

“Bull” She playfully shouts “It’s written all over your face!”

I look over at Kyungri to give her the-she’s-crazy-look.

She adds “You are glowing Hayoung”

What is it about this glow that everyone sees?

“I knew it, I knew you would eventually fall for him” She sticks her hand out over at Kyungri “Pay up hoe”

I pop my eyes open and let a chuckle escape “You betted on me?”

She nods “It was bound to happen. I know your type” She waggles her eyebrows

I couldn’t contain my laughter, is she nuts? My type is nothing like Sehun, based on looks yes but personality, he’s really something else. Not usually what I go for. The only way a guy can attract me is if they have their future planned, I liked a guy with direction. It just showed a mature and responsible side and I went crazy for it. Something Sehun lacks on.

“What kind of friend are you?” Kyungri hands over the money

“The one who’ll buy patbingsu” She wraps her arm around her

She lights up like a little kid “Okay”

When we stand out front in the store that sells Patbingsu I spot a familiar brown hair kid. He notices me as well and with a smile on his face he runs up towards me.

“Hayoung”

I smile “How are you Daehun?”

“When are you going to come play soccer with us again?”

“Do you want me to?” I was touched that Daehun cared for me this much.

He nods “You’re the only person who can help me beat my big brother”

“He never lets you win?”

He shakes his head “It’s okay though, it helps me try harder” He curves his lips and has a cheeky smile on his face “But it was fun beating him”

As Daehun was speaking, everything in my body feels light and happy of the sight of Sehun. He was holding onto two bowls of patbingsu.

“Look Sehun, Hayoung is here”

He nods at his little brother. He looks up at the girls acknowledging them and they say hi to him. I knew after this it was going to be an investigation scene with Saerin, trying to get answers out of me.

“Can you come with us?” He turns his attention back on me

“Sorry. I have plans with my friends, maybe next time?”

“You already said that” He frowns

“Come on Daehun” Sehun kneels down to hand him his patbingsu “Let’s get going”

“Go hang out with them. We can do our things later”

I look over at Saerin and I knew what she was doing, she was setting me up.

“But I want patbingsu” I quietly whine

Daehun lifts his up “You can share with me”

His smile gets the best of me. There was no way I could do that to him but I can however take some of Sehun’s patbingsu. Maybe the whole thing, it’s the least he can do for everything he’s been putting me through. I smile feeling mischievous to my plan.
