im new at this so i hope you enjoy.. :)
Foreword
It was like any other day, home alone, just sitting down in front of the laptop in my room. Browsing at the same things over the internet and listening to the songs I cannot seem to make myself get tired of. Then suddenly I got this message.
“Hey! Still remember me?”
I was really surprised with it actually. I didn’t expect that this person actually still remembers me. It has been 5 years since I’ve last seen this person; we were not even close so why message me now, Choi Jonghun?
Choi Jonghun was a senior back in my high school. He was pretty famous back then since he plays the guitar really well. For short, he is the type of guy who will leave this impression on you. We didn’t really talk much in the past, I just know him by name and he knows me by name only too, I guess. Intrigued by this sudden event, I replied happily.
“Of course I do! Choi Jonghun right?” I said casually.
“Oh wow! You do remember me! So how’s life?”
It took me a while to reply to this. I can’t seem to understand why he thinks I don’t know him when in fact back then, he is very aware of his existence in school.
And when I say aware, HE IS VERY AWARE.
“You and the guitar, how can I forget? I’m fine how about you?”
I sounded like an old friend trying to catch up with his life but our relationship is close to that of strangers.
And his reply really got me dumbfounded of what to do next.
“I’m good too. By the way I have to go, just text me here: XXXXXX okay??”
I quickly typed the words, “I AM TOO LAZY TO USE MY CELL PHONE” before he completely leaves. I just said the truth. it doesn’t matter who you are, even if you are my mom I am just too lazy to use my phone. I didn’t even thought of the words I typed, but since I saw the word cell phone, I immediately said that, kind of reflex.
“Haha! Just give me a message okay? That won’t hurt you. I really have to leave now. Message okay?!”
And he was gone. I was really caught up with the conversation I don’t know what to make of it. Oh well, whatever, I’ll just send him one right now.
