Wow...what a way to propose - by dancing to Wedding Dress.

I really couldn't find the words to describe how happy, how overwhelmed, I felt. They were so thoughtful.

After Suho released my hand, I threw my arms around his neck and pulled him close to me.

Not any moment later, I also felt his arms slide around my waist.

"I love you, I love you, I love you so much..." he murmured.

I wiped my tears on the shoulder of his shirt. "I love you too."

At around 10pm that night, I lay down on my bed, thinking about tomorrow's battle.

Was that the reason why they decide to propose to me now? So they'll be forever be bounded to me before they die?

It wasn't like I wanted this to happen so quickly.

I sighed, extending my arm in front of me so I could see the back of my left hand.

The diamond on the silver ring shone as I turned my hand so it was slightly angled towards the light bulb on the ceiling.

I heaved out a sigh of worry. I thought they'd be proposing after the fight for some sense of achievement, or something.

What the heck was I thinking?

I shook my head to rid myself of the thoughts about the fight tomorrow.

Was it possible for fifteen mortal vampires to defeat an army of around twenty newborns?

Tao did say that strategy will always beat power, but what if Victoria trained these newborns to fight?

Knowing her, she'd probably teach them everything a Cold One needs to know about fighting.

My thoughts were interrupted when I suddenly heard a light knock on my window.

I snapped my head towards the sound source and saw Kai on the other side, gently smiling at me.

I let out a small 'tsht' before heaving myself up from lying down and leaning over to push the window up.

"Hey, _________," Kai greeted with that oh-so-rich voice of his.

I bit my lip and moved out of the way. "Hey, Jongin."

At that moment, he flew through the window and landed on the floor next to my bed.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him, "Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for the fight tomorrow?"

Kai only went up and sat next to me on my bed. He turned his upper body around and hovered over me, with each of his arms next to my sides to support. He looked down at me with the most affectionate gaze:

"No," he simply answered.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "What? Why not?"

"Because...we want to, you know, say our vows?"

I stared at him as it took a few moments to process the words that just fluttered from his mouth.

Wait.

"VOWS?!" I screeched and jerked halfway up into a sitting position, utterly shocked, "WHAT IN THE-"

"Calm down, __________, geez!" Kai scolded, probably tired of my outbursts ever since we were bonded.

I immediately ceased my yelling and lay back down on my bed.

"ANYWAY," he continued, disregarding my rude interruption, "Before you ask, we're doing this because we obviously can't find somebody who's willing to get twelve guys to marry one girl. And also, each of us have only about seven minutes with you, so I'll have to make this quick but cheesy at the same time."

I nodded in understanding. "So which order are you guys going in? So I can be prepared, and stuff."

"Our coven's going to you according to who bonded, so I get to say mine before the rest."

I gulped and nodded for him to continue.

The corner of his lips slightly twisted before he lay down next to me. He then took hold of my waist and rolled me on top of him, making me gasp.

Kai stared deeply into my eyes, his gaze boring into me.

I couldn't help but adore his honey-gold eyes as well.

This time, I knew that he wasn't going to be the cocky that he usually was. He was actually going to be sincere.

"Jang _________," he began. My insides were in a frenzy, waiting for what he was about to say. "I love you so much. I want to be yours until forever. I know I've been arrogant to you in the past, but I hope we can move past that,"

I internally rolled my eyes.

He'd always be my arrogant Kai. It kind of helps me get an insight on my snarky attitude.

"Remember our first proper encounter? That time where I saved you from the car accident?"

Memories of that day began to flash back into my mind.

The speeding van. The adrenaline. The infinitely precise timing of Kai. The screaming as the van collided with the wall.

If Kai wasn't any faster, then I'd probably be dead by now.

"Of course," I replied sharply, "How could I NOT remember?"

Instead of scolding me, he continued, "When I held you in my arms, I couldn't help but not want to let go of you. That was the moment when I could fully see you, see what was the fuss about. You were so beautiful. Even if people around you say the opposite, you are beautiful in my eyes, and that's all that matters. Though you were, and still are, my singer, I guess my love for you stopped me from taking your blood right there and then."

I couldn't help but feel utterly flustered at his short speech.

The blood rushing to my cheeks must be a bit...appetising...to him.

It was a wonder he could resist it.

But still, I was completely stunned to the fact that this cocky guy was actually saying his vows to me.

"_________, you have all of me. Will you be mine forever?"

My insides were going crazy. I couldn't comprehend as to how happy I felt.

The words escaped my lips painfully slowly, though I didn't know that they would be that slow. "Yes, I will. I will, Jongin."

A smile played on his luscious lips before he pulled me down for a kiss.

I gladly kissed him back, our lips moving together, I could feel his breath ghosting on my upper lip, his tongue expertly exploring my mouth. A few sweet moments later, our lips parted, but our faces were still close as ever.

"I love you so much," Kai murmured huskily, sending my heartbeat hammering against my chest.

"I love you, Jongin," I whispered just over his lips.

We stayed like that, close and intimate, for about half a minute, before Kai suddenly had a slight pained expression on his face.

I guess he heard one of the guys downstairs, or something.

"Aish..." he huffed, reluctant to leave. I moved up from lying on top of him to sit on his lap, while he got up into a sitting position. "I have to go now, _________. I need a bit of blood for some energy for tomorrow."

I gulped and nodded. "Alright."

Kai leaned in and gently, as if I would break under his touch, kissed my lips once more. "See you tomorrow, babe."

I flinched back at the name, but before I could open my mouth to snap at him, he suddenly disappeared from my sight.

"What the-" I scrambled up to look out the window, but no Kai was in sight.

Grr. I knew I shouldn't have fallen for his innocent or sincere acts.

God, I'm such an idiot. Wait until I get my hands on that bastard when I become a newbor-

Another presence suddenly flew into my bedroom.

I gasped as I saw the person landing on the floor, but calmed down when I recognised the shoulder-length orange hair.

He turned around and gave me a smile that made my heart flutter.

I bit my lip, feeling the heat rush to my face as he came closer to me.

"Hey, _________," he said what that baritone voice that sent shudders down my spine. I could have passed out there and then.

"H-hey, Chanyeol..." I mumbled shyly.

Chanyeol let out a light chuckle before sitting down on my bed. "Well, I think you know what I'm going to do next,"

"I know, your vows, right?"

He nodded. "Here it goes," he cleared his throat, "Jang __________, I've loved you ever since I first visited you...while you were sleeping...ANYWAY, as creepy as that sounded, nonetheless, I love you so much, and I'm sorry for scaring you with that."

I chuckled and playfully pushed his arm. "Nothing scares me, you know that." Okay, nothing but Cold Ones.

"Yes, I know that." Chanyeol brought his hand up to the collar of his shirt and pulled it down, revealing the black phoenix tattoo that was imprinted on his neck. "See this?" he pointed to the symbol, "You have one exactly like it, on your back. This shows that we are bounded together forever," 

I nodded, almost forgetting that I have twelve symbols tattooed on my back.

"You know what else these tattoos show?" he questioned, but before I could answer, he beat me to it, "They show my love for you. Just like those tattoos, I will love you forever."

Chanyeol took my left hand and brought it up to his lips, kissing the back before kissing the ring.

Before I could pull my hand away, he began to make his way up my bare arm, taking me by surprise.

He kissed his way over my clothed shoulders, and then to my neck. He hit a sensitive spot on the nape, causing a strange sound to emit from my throat.

I felt his lips twisting into a smirk on my neck. That greedy idiot.

"Ch-Chanyeol..." I breathed as he continued working his lips on my neck. I suddenly felt the tip of his tongue slide over that spot, making me moan once again.

He chuckled once before trailing his lips back up my neck to my lips.

"Chanyeol, you're wasting your time," I muttered in between kisses.

"Sorry," he said and broke the kiss, "_________, before I go and fight, I want to say that I love you, and I'm sorry for going over the line a few times, but all I wanted to do is to show how much I love you."

I was indeed touched by his words, but, nonetheless, I couldn't help but feel, if these were his last words to me, utterly guilty.

Completely helpless.

"I love you, Chanyeol, please don't die..." I pleaded him, tightly grasping onto his hands.

He only let out a soft chuckle. "Don't you worry, I won't. They're just inexperienced newborns. I'll kill them."

I bit my lip once more as he leaned in to press his lips against my forehead.

And, like that, he was gone.

I know. It has been almost 2 weeks since I last updated buuuuuuuuuut this was a pretty long chapter, so I hope you guys like it!

Okay, with the vows thing, there'll be another 2 parts to it, since this is gonna take a while OTL

Anyway, as much as I hate to break it to you, I have exams in two weeks, so I have to study my off so I'm allowed to go to CNBlue's concert that's going to be held in Sydney in June TT_TT

Once again, updates are going to be slow, but I promise that I'll update much, much more often after that!
