That evening, I stayed in my room, on my bed, just...thinking...

Would this plan work? It was so tactical and...hypothetical...

Sighing, I got off the bed and went over to my laptop and turned it on.

Once it loaded, I clicked on Skype and logged in.

I averted my gaze to the list of who was online, and almost jumped for joy when I saw Kylie's username.

I smiled and clicked to give her a video call.

After a few moments, the screen of her came up.

"__________!!! HEY!!" she squealed, waving.

"KYLIE!!!" I called to my computer screen, waving and giving her a huge smile.

"Oh my goodness! How have you been?"

I laughed while leaning forward a little, only to move back and flick my fringe away. "I've been okay, really."

Not really.

I don't think "okay" covers the fact that I have a newborn army coming after me for my blood.

I only really wanted to talk to my friends because I needed some form of distraction for what was going to happen tomorrow and the day after.

Everything was so overwhelming for me, so I guess talking to my friends was something that moved a little weight off my shoulders.

"You serious?" Kylie questioned, raising her eyebrow, "What happened to that Kris guy?"

I mentally slapped myself. "He's...still my boyfriend, if you were wondering. He's just on his break with his friends before they start uni. What about you?"

She laughed lightly, her eyes forming crescents, though I couldn't really see why. "Exams are killing me over, so I'm definately NOT okay."

I couldn't help but to laugh with her. 

Exams never really bothered her because she'd usually get the top marks, so it kind of surprised me.

"Poor you, oh my god. So how's Sarah and Cindy and that? I'm guessing Sarah's lazy as ever and Cindy's getting everything wrong in math from silly mistakes?" I continued.

She rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Yeah. I seriously don't understand why Sarah is so lazy but she's always getting really good marks. Cindy's still getting nearly a hundred in textiles. Cassie's getting nineties in everything, as usual. And Jessica..."

"Is still near the bottom?" I finished, unsurprised that my crazy friend hasn't changed since I left.

"You could say that."

For the next few minutes, we continued chatting and catching up before I heard a slight knock on the window.

I flicked my head to my right and saw D.O at the window, and rolled my eyes.

"What was that?" Kylie asked with some concern lingering in her voice.

I turned back to the screen. "Oh, hang on, give me a second." I said and got out of the chair.

I got onto the bed on my knees and opened the window for D.O. "Hey," I huffed and crawled off my bed.

"Hey," he greeted back as I sat back down in front of the laptop, "We'll have to go now."

"Just give me a second, please? I want to talk to my friend."

D.O rolled his eyes and stood in front of the laptop, next to me.

Kylie gasped, clasping her hand to . "OH MY GOD, _________, WHO'S THAT?! WHERE DID HE COME FROM?!" she squealed, obviously not containing her excitement. I couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction.

"Is she your friend?" D.O asked, hovering beside me and pointing to my screen.

I flicked his bangs with the back of my fingers while nodding and continued to talk to Kylie. "He's one of my guy friends that I made...and he came from my window because he decided to be a smart-."

"HE IS SO CUTE OH MY GOD. WHAT'S HIS NAME?! I hope he doesn't understand what I'm saying."

I shook my head. "Don't worry, he doesn't. Anyway, he's Do Kyungsoo. He's pretty cool, except for the times he kind of abuses me."

"What's her name?" D.O spoke up.

"Oh, her name is Kylie. Why won't you say hi to her?"

D.O remained silent for a little while. I was guessing that he was a little shy.

I rolled my eyes and beckoned to Kylie to say hi to him.

Once she did, she shyly placed her hands over while eyesmiling; I couldn't help but giggle at her reaction (again).

"Yah, come on, ________, the rest aren't that patient, you know?" D.O pressed.

I stopped my laughing. "Hey, Kylie, I have to go now. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

She sighed in disappointment. "Okay, but where are you going?"

I suddenly flushed, but I had to make something up so she won't be suspicious. "I-I'm going to the movies with some other friends as well. Kyungsoo is just here to pick me up."

"Via the window?"

I nodded, blinking a few times. "Mmmhmm."

"Well, I guess I'll see you later, then!"

"Bye! Good luck with your exams!"

We waved to each other one more time before closing the screen.

I shut my laptop screen and eyed D.O. "What?"

"You and your friend are crazy, you know?"

I rolled my eyes and got up from the chair. "Not really. She's more reserved than I am." I said as we went out of my room.

"Really?"

"YES, REALLY."

"Gosh, calm down, woman."

I snarled at him, and I stuffed the house keys into my pocket as we got out of the doorway. "Why are you taking me to your place anyway? Why would the guys be impatient for?"

D.O appeared on my left side, making me jump, and whispered, "It's a secret."

I scoffed and went over to the front passenger seat of his Jeep. "Honestly, I really don't like it when you guys keep things from me."

"But this time, it's a surprise."

I groaned and blew on my fringe.

By the time we got to EXO's place, I was still rather angry at D.O's secrecy.

It wasn't fair that the guys kept hiding things from me; I mean, I never hide things from them! (Okay, maybe A FEW things, but it's not like they've told me as much as I ever told them)

I got out of the Jeep and began to make my way up the driveway to the front door.

Before I could begin knocking, I gasped as I suddenly felt a short gush of wind next to me, until I realised that it was only D.O.

He took my wrist and pulled it away from the door. "Just wait. It's a surprise, remember?"

I groaned. "Fine," I said, with a little bit of attitude. Hey, I was impatient, what did you expect?

"Good, now follow me."

I wrinkled my nose, but followed him inside the house anyway.

When we got inside, it was pitch black.

I felt D.O's hands on my shoulders as he guided me somewhere.

The atmosphere made me a little unconfortable, since I could be running into something.

"Kyungsoo, what are we doing?" I asked him.

He stopped walking and let go of my shoulders. "Just stay here for a bit."

Before, D.O said that it was a surprise, so I decided that it was best if I would stay secluded in one spot.

After a few moments, I flung my arms down in annoyance. "If this is some stupid prank that you're pulling so I can take my mind off the fight then you're-"

Suddenly, a piano riff began playing.

It sounded like an audio playing from speakers, but I could instantly recognise it from the first few notes.

Much to my confusion, the room was still dark while it was playing.

As soon as the ruffling synths were added over the piano, the downlights began to emerge from the ceiling.

I widened my eyes.
