Teukso's Dream Wedding

An Angel's Promise To The Sky

"THE next take would be at the altar, so both of you should be ready and do some retouches. I want your pictures to come out perfect. So both of you should look your best." the PD informed Leeteuk and Sora while taking another break from their wedding photoshoot for We Got Married,

"Wedding photoshoots can be as tiring as our cover photoshoots on magazines, yeobo. But I think these kind of photoshoots are really special." Leeteuk said while sitting beside Sora in a bench and waiting for the crew to prepare the next set.

"Of course they are special, oppa. They are romantic and special. It's for their wedding and some of the pictures should be shown on the wedding day itself, right?" Sora replied to him, "What's your dream wedding photoshoot?" Sora then questioned out of the blue,

"You're asking me?" Leeteuk asked back and placed his fingers on his chin, thinking, "That would be... you wearing something really y, like the one we saw in one of the sample photos the lady owner showed us." Leeteuk answered and giggled,

Sora hit Leeteuk's shoulder as she blushes, "Oppa! That's not what I meant. I'm being serious here." Sora then said,

"Arasso, arasso." Leeteuk then said and pulled Sora closer to him then kissed his temple, "Anything will do, Sora-ya as long as I'm with you." Leeteuk said and looked at Sora, "What would you like our wedding be?"

"I like it to be more traditional. I like to wear Hanbok and I like to see you wearing traditional clothes too. I think that would be nice." Sora replied and gazed at Leeteuk and saw that he's pouting his lips, "Why are you pouting?"

"I was just thinking and imagining you with that on. I'm sure you will look really beautiful, but are you going to put a big headress on like the ones we see on historical dramas and the like?" Leeteuk asked and frowned, "I'm sure that would take a lot of hairpins and it will take a while before..."

Sora smiled before asking him, "What are you trying to say, Jungsoo oppa?"

"I'm sure that would take a long time before I can take that heavy thing off your head." Leeteuk replied, "Would you please skip with the headress when we do the traditional wedding, yeobo? Pretty please?"

"A-are you really going to let us have a traditional wedding if I asked you to, oppa? I mean most couples prefer having weddings with the white gown and tuxedos and the like, right? But are you really going to do that for me?" Sora just asked her boyfriend,

"Yah, Kang Sora-ssi! Who do you think asked you for a wedding? It's me, right? Park Jungsoo, Leeteuk of Super Junior and no one else. I'm not being boastful or anything but I'm just telling you that I can give you anything that you like and I will do anything for you." Leeteuk said, "You already know that, right? I will give you anything you want and if that happens to be a traditional wedding then you'll gonna have it."

"Why don't you tell me what kind of wedding do you like for a change? You're always asking me and it's always been about me ever since." Sora said, "Do you like to have a traditional wedding too?"

"It's not that I don't like it. I just prefer something bigger than that. I like our wedding to be in Jamsil Stadium and invite all our fans on our wedding then fill the whole stadium with Sapphire Blue." Leeteuk answered and grinned,

"That would be really bad, oppa. I'm sure that they will cry seeing you being married to someone else other than them." Sora replied,

"But it's not as if I can marry all of them, Sora-ya." Leeteuk replied and looked intently on Sora's eyes, "I can only be married to one person and I want that person to be you and no one else. I want to show the whole world that you're the one whom I chose to be with for the rest of my life."

Leeteuk leaned closer on Sora's face to kiss her and Sora automatically closed her eyes when someone called the two of them, "Sora-ya, Leeteuk-ssi!" and they turned and saw Sora's manager calling for them, "We're ready to reshoot again." Sora's manager informed them,

"Manager Hyung really do know the right timing, doesn't he, yeobo?" Leeteuk commented before sighing and Sora giggled in reply,

"He might be just reminding us that we're not alone, oppa. You don't want our relationship to be discovered and moreover, this show doesn't allow couples to be dating so we can't tell them that we really are a couple, right?" Sora replied and placed her palm on Leeteuk's cheek,

"I understand. It's just frustrating every time I distance myself to you and act like we're just friends and filming a drama or something. Although I get to express what I want on this show, sometimes it's still not enough for me because I can't tell them that you're really mine." Leeteuk said out of the blue,

"Mweo? You just didn't get the chance to have your kiss and you're getting frustrated like that? Yeobo, is there something going on?"

"Aniya, it's just that we've been through a lot and I admit I've been unfair to you because I keep giving you problems, not telling everyone about you as much as I want to. I can't express my feelings to you when we're in public, I can't tell them that I'm in a relationship with someone and that really keeps me frustrated."

"But Jungsoo oppa, we both know how hard will it be before we got into this relationship, right? I agreed to be your girlfriend with my eyes open and I know that it will not be a smooth sailing one having a Hallyu star for a boyfriend, but I don't mind that because I love you."

"And I love you too, yeobo. That's why I'm finding a way to let Lee songsaengnim see that what we have is real and this is not some WGM fad of falling in love or something like that. He keeps telling me that this will pass when we finished this but I want to prove him wrong."

"And have you thought of a way to do that?" Sora inquired, "Not to mention we also have to think about Taeyeon eonnie too. She too is chasing after you and won't back down even after the things that we told about her." Sora added,

"Taeyeon won't bother us anymore." Leeteuk said, "She wrote me a letter and she told me that she went back to Paris and will start her life again building her company there. Which reminds me, you know about the situation of her company in Paris but you didn't inform me. Why?"

"That's because it's not my story to tell. I don't want to use what I know for her to stay away from you. That's quite mean I think and besides even if I tell her that she won't back down if she doesn't want to." Sora informed, "But I guess we might see her still from time to time since she has her business here, right?"

"Maybe, but I don't really care because I'm sure that we're going to be married by the time she comes back and I'm going to make sure no one will be able to take you away from me by then." Leeteuk replied confidently,

"You really sound confident there, Park Jungsoo-ssi. You're not thinking of something evil, aren't you?" Sora asked eyeing Leeteuk doubtfully,

"Who do you think I am? Cho Kyuhyun? I'm not like that. I'm just stating a fact that I won't allow anyone to ruin this relationship anymore. I will be more confident about myself and won't stay away from you anymore because I missed you terribly when I did."

"No, you're not Kyuhyun oppa but I know you have a dark side too that's why I'm a bit bothered when you're like that. You just show your Angel side with your fans but you have a Kyuhyun personality too." Sora commented,

"That only comes out when you're involved, Mrs. Park. So don't mess around with other guys too much if you don't want to see how mean I am." Leeteuk said and grinned at her,

"Are you threatning me, Park Jungsoo?" Sora dared, "As if I'm going to do that. Don't you trust me, oppa?"

"Aniya, I'm just telling you since I'm not always with you and I don't really trust the guys around you because we both know how beautiful my wife is." Leeteuk replied and stood from the bench, "Kaja. Everyone is waiting for us and let's finish this already."

Sora stood up and held Leeteuk's hand before walking away from the bench.

The Fading of Bright Stars

In the years we shared work spaces, seldom did our hours crossed. She worked night shifts, while I move around across different time zones to meet the demands of my profession. She was a luminary; a survivor of countless excisions when the demands of work is lesser than what is required of human resources. And if not for the months-long infirmity last year, she would have endured the most recent culling. She became part of the statistics, only to return when a colleague flew abroad to get married and live with her fiancé.

A fine lady in her early 30's, one would easily mistake her for an East Asian. Her eyes disappear when she smiles, and her porcelain skin is the envy of many. Her gauntly frame, albeit a cause of concern, hardly bothers any. Colleagues would tell she eats nothing but Chippy and Coke. But who are we to forbid her of such pleasures? She delivers, and for all we care, satisfied are we of her job performance.

Talk is an avocation the two of us hardly engage. Reason lies in office hierarchy, but more so, because we respect each other's solitary leanings. But this doesn't mean ambivalence, or hidden disdain. Words may have never articulated what my thoughts were, but I've always regarded her in high esteem.
