Meet An Old Friend

An Angel's Promise To The Sky

LEETEUK and Sora with the rest of the WGM crew were in the grounds of the school that caused the other students to stare at them, seeing Leeteuk from Super Junior coming to their school, "It's Super Junior's Leeteuk!" one of the students shouted and he rushed back inside the building.

"OK, guys. You don't have to mind the other students too much and just do whatever you want and be natural with each other. But you also have to show that you are a married couple. Be sweet to each other and just be happy." Their PD told Leeteuk and Sora,

"PD-nim, can I show Sora-ssi arould first before we resume our filming? I would like to see some of the new things around the school myself." Leeteuk said and glanced at the school building, "It's been a long time since I've been here and a lot of things have changed." he continued which their PD agreed and they all took a break,

They were both walking away from the crew when Leeteuk suddenly asked Sora, "Yah, yeobo-ya. You really like to know what I did when I was in highschool?"

"Yes. Tell me, oppa, we're you like the other kids who like to sing and dance?" Sora asked him that made Leeteuk blush,

"Well, I can't say that I was really pursuing it though. More of I want to try the things that I'm good at and I discovered that I'm good at dancing and singing." Leeteuk answered and blushed at the same time, "But I never really imagined that I'm going to be this big, like being in a Hallyu group like Super Junior."

"Well oppa, that's because you work hard with the others and you really deserve what you have now." Sora said and smiled at Leeteuk,

"And do I really deserve being with such a beautiful lady like you, yeobo?" Leeteuk asked her softly that made Sora blushed red, "Can I call myself a lucky man, then?" Leeteuk said and smiled,

"The question is, do I really deserve to be with someone as handsome as you?" Sora softly said, "Oppa, did'nt you know that a lot of girls want to be with you right now? Just like Taeyeon eonnie. She wants to have you back." Sora said and she pouted that made Leeteuk smile,

"Yeah right. Other girls like to be in your position right now, Kang Sora-ssi. But you know very well that you are the only one I really want to be with me for the rest of my life." Leeteuk replied and gave Sora an eskimo kiss, "As for Taeyeon, she is someone whom you should not think about right now. More of you should be aware of what you are doing to me, yeobo. You are making me crave for you more."

"O..oppa w-what are you doing?" Sora asked nervously when she sensed that Leeteuk is going to kiss her right there and then.

They are standing in the middle of the first floor hallway in between classrooms and Sora can see some of the students peeking from the gaps of slightly closed doors thats making her nervous,

"You don't have to be shy though, yeobo. It's not bad to give your oppa a simple kiss right?" Leeteuk grinned at Sora and looked at her with seductive eyes,

"Oppa, don't you notice the students who are peeking at us?" Sora whispered at Leeteuk but he just smiled at her,

"I don't care about that though." Leeteuk said, but he hugged Sora tightly, "Are you also aware of how the senior students and male teachers are looking at you, yeobo? You should. But they are out of luck because you are mine."

"Yah, you're a possesive namja! You do know that I'm only yours, oppa." Sora said smiling at Leeteuk and lovingly hit his arm,

They are still hugging each other and Leeteuk was busy telling Sora his sweet nothings to her when someone called their attention, "Is that you, Park Jungsoo-ssi?" a woman's voice echoed to the hall,

Leeteuk cliched away from Sora to see who was calling his name and he saw a woman approaching them, wearing a white collared shirt underneath a brown long sleeved suit with same colored skirt. She's also wearing black stockings and black high heeled shoes. Carrying a couple of planners on one hand and a medium length stick at the other.

"Yes, that's my name, sonsaengnim." Leeteuk said politely, "Are you a Super Junior fan, sonsaengnim?" he asked,

"Aniyo. It's me, Park Hwayobi. Your classmate back in High school, don't you remember, Jungsoo-ssi?" the woman smiled at him and tapped Leeteuk's shoulder,

"Park Hwayobi? Our class' Yobi-one Hwayobi? The Starwars fan?" Leeteuk asked and laughed when he remembered his old classmate,

"Yah! You are the only one who never calls me that. Mind you, I was into Anakin Skywalker back then, not Obi Wan and I have already outgrew my fantasies about that though.  But yeah, it's me." Hwayobi said to Leeteuk, "What are you doing at our school, Park? Are you here to visit the school?" she asked,

"Yes and no." Leeteuk said, "I'm here because my wife wants to see the school and she surprised me by going here so I'm showing her around the school and telling her the things that I have done back then." Leeteuk replied and held Sora's hand to introduce her to Hwayobi,

"Oh, you are with Taeyeon now? Oh my god! I miss her a lot. It's been a long time since I've seen both of you." Hwayobi excitedly said, "Where is she?" she asked but she saw Sora beside Leeteuk and also saw how he held her hand, "Who is she?"

"Hwayo, I want you to meet my wife. Kang Sora." Leeteuk said and glanced at Sora and smiled, "Yeobo, meet my former classmate, Park Hwayobi."

"Annyeong haseyo, Park Hwayobi-ssi. Kang Sora imnida. Manasseo banggap sumnida." Sora said and smiled at her boyfriend's classmate,

"Annyeong haseyo, Sora-ssi." Hwayobi said awkwardly to Sora, then turned to Leeteuk, "Is she really your wife, Jungsoo-ssi? I thought you and Taeyeon will be the one who's going to be married though." she said, not minding the fact that Sora can hear what she is saying,

"No, she's not the one whom I'm married with. I'm married with Kang Sora and not with Taeyeon, Hwayo." Leeteuk said firmly before changing their topic, "What are you doing here? Are you visiting the school yourself?"

"No. I'm a teacher here, Jungsoo-ssi. I teach English and Literature." Hwayobi said still staring at Sora, "What does she do? Is she an idol like you?" she asked Leeteuk referring to Sora,

"No. She's an actress and a model. She's beautiful, isn't she?" Leeteuk said that made Sora smiled at her boyfriend,

Hwayobi nodded, "Yes she is. But Taeyeon is much more beautiful than her though." she said, "Does Taeyeon know about this? The fact that you are married to her, I mean."

"Do I have to tell her everything that I have to do, Hwayo? She's already my past and we don't have anything to do with each other anymore. What I do doesn't concern Taeyeon anymore and I don't care what she does to her life as well."

"Arasso, Jungsoo-ssi. Well, you have to visit my class. I'm sure my students will like to see a Super Junior member." Hwayobi said to ease the awkwardness she felt on Leeteuk's answer.

Leeteuk smiled and turned to Sora, "Yeobo-ya, do you want to see on how they teach here in my school?" he asked and grinned, "Although I doubt that my classmate here will be a good one, though you will have an idea." Leeteuk said jokingly and glanced at Hwayobi,

Leeteuk and Sora followed Hwayobi inside the classroom where she is teaching holding each others hand.

Annyeong haseyo, GnaixNiQ imnida! First of all, I'm really, really sorry if it took a long time for me to update An Angel's Promise  to the Sky. I have been doing a lot of things lately that's making me really busy and I can't seem to get the time to write on my fanfic (add to that the fact that I get less internet time when I'm at home since I usually sleep the whole day when I have my day off.)

Anyway, I will really try to update as much as I can starting this week but I will not promise anything though, so please bear with me, guys >.<

Thanks for reading and subscribing. Add some comments too if there's something that you want to say to me, I read them a lot. kekeke! ^^,

The Fading of Bright Stars

In the years we shared work spaces, seldom did our hours crossed. She worked night shifts, while I move around across different time zones to meet the demands of my profession. She was a luminary; a survivor of countless excisions when the demands of work is lesser than what is required of human resources. And if not for the months-long infirmity last year, she would have endured the most recent culling. She became part of the statistics, only to return when a colleague flew abroad to get married and live with her fiancé.

A fine lady in her early 30's, one would easily mistake her for an East Asian. Her eyes disappear when she smiles, and her porcelain skin is the envy of many. Her gauntly frame, albeit a cause of concern, hardly bothers any. Colleagues would tell she eats nothing but Chippy and Coke. But who are we to forbid her of such pleasures? She delivers, and for all we care, satisfied are we of her job performance.

Talk is an avocation the two of us hardly engage. Reason lies in office hierarchy, but more so, because we respect each other's solitary leanings. But this doesn't mean ambivalence, or hidden disdain. Words may have never articulated what my thoughts were, but I've always regarded her in high esteem.
